    Thank you! This was so helpful. In my first year of my ADN and I did bad on my first three tests, feeling very discouraged but this helped!

      @@Krfi_lmsI passed:) Been doing long term care and med-surg nursing for a year. Passed the NCLEX on my first attempt. Honestly for me, Simple Nursing was a lifesaver. I would watch all of his videos, print out his study guides and do that every night. Prioritize your mental health and make time for yourself. And get a planner so you can stay on top of your assignments. Also, I joined a bunch of nursing student support groups on Facebook, those were very helpful was well. :) good luck love!

    When you do pre reading before class, with the outline of the powerpoint, where do you add the notes that you take pre reading? I want to start printing out the outline of the powerpoint with the lines by the side so I can take notes of what the professor says during the class. But what would you recommend I do? Should I get a notebook for my pre reading? How can i best organize my notes?

    • @everythingshayy5760
      @everythingshayy5760  3 года назад +2

      Hey hun, when I did my check off, I just divided my check off sheet into sections. So like for 1 day I’ll learn the first 2-3 sections, then the next day I would Learn the remaining. The first part is normally the easiest because all you are doing is introducing yourself, checking allergies LOC etc.. I practiced on myself and my teddy bear lol

      Hi!!! I’m glad you liked the video. The review book has nursing info in it such as the disease process, clinical manifestation, complications, patient education,meds etc.. everything is condensed to make it easier to review and focuses on key points. My school was heavy on ATI, so I mostly used the ATI review books. They have some for each class, fundamentals, medsurg, peds etc.. hope that helps🤗💕

    How do you know how to narrow down which s/a is important? What adverse effect is more important?

    • @everythingshayy5760
      @everythingshayy5760  3 года назад +1

      @Nesha J Hey Girl!! I swear there’s like a 1000 s/e for each drug lol.. but most of the time your professor will mention the main side effects or adverse for the drugs. Many drugs cause N/V so don’t waste too much time focusing on that. if your teacher is not helpful then I would recommend the Saunders Nclex book. It goes over the major meds after each topic and it’s straight to the point vs an actual drug book.
