Thank you! This was so helpful. In my first year of my ADN and I did bad on my first three tests, feeling very discouraged but this helped!
It’s okay!! Don’t get discouraged. You just have to find a routine that works for you. Glad I was able to help. YOU GOT THIS🤗
How did you do now? It’s been two years
@adriennelove9289 did you end up passing your program? I’m in the same situation you were in and wanted to get some encouragement if it helped you?
@@brittneyfisher852I passed:) Been doing long term care and med-surg nursing for a year. Passed the NCLEX on my first attempt.
@@Krfi_lmsI passed:) Been doing long term care and med-surg nursing for a year. Passed the NCLEX on my first attempt. Honestly for me, Simple Nursing was a lifesaver. I would watch all of his videos, print out his study guides and do that every night. Prioritize your mental health and make time for yourself. And get a planner so you can stay on top of your assignments. Also, I joined a bunch of nursing student support groups on Facebook, those were very helpful was well. :) good luck love!
Congratulations on the A keep it up. Fundamentals definitely was a different mindset
Thanks hun💕 Yes, it’s totally different from other classes I have taken prior to nursing school.
I’m going onto week 3 of my BSN program, thank you for this!!
I’m glad you found this video helpful. You will do an awesome job!!💕
Hello Shay, i learned alot from this video. So I'll be starting nursing school this August, I'll be taking Fundamental of Nursing and Pharmacology. My program is RN in community college. Please, is there any way I can get your quizlet or anything to start testing myself and learning?
Thank you for this. I'm taking Fundamentals next term(starts in about a week). These tips will be so helpful! I have my finals for Pharm and Health Assessment next week!
Yw!! 🤗I’m sure you did good on your pharm and health assessment finals. Goodluck in funds. YOU GOT THIS🤗💕
This is really helpful! I start tomorrow and I’m so worried!!
I’m glad you found it helpful. I hope your first day went well🤗
When you do pre reading before class, with the outline of the powerpoint, where do you add the notes that you take pre reading? I want to start printing out the outline of the powerpoint with the lines by the side so I can take notes of what the professor says during the class. But what would you recommend I do? Should I get a notebook for my pre reading? How can i best organize my notes?
TY 👏🏾👏🏾Congrats on slaying Fundamentals 👩🏾⚕️
Thanks hun💕
Thank you for narrowing it down about what to review in reference to lecture.

@@everythingshayy5760 I love it soooo much ! I hope everything is going well for you . We will have to catch up soon. I'll DM you my number on insta ❤
@@NurseBrittanyNicole thanks girl!! It wasn’t hard at all... and ok I’ll look out for it💕
my test is on monday
and i wish i knew this before
bcos now im stressed trying to cram
studying has been a hard skill to achieve
@Lean just breatheeeee, relax. You’ll do fine. You still have time to study, if it’s Monday. What topics will you be tested over?
U must’ve had really good nursing instructors because mine were the very opposite of how u described.
For funds my instructor was pretty good. I did have classes were the instructors weren’t as good. MS2 I was mostly teaching myself. I just had to use my resources so I could be successful. Registered nurse RN and levelup nursing was definitely my go to.
Awesome video. Do you have any tips for the skills check-off like HA LAB
Hey hun, when I did my check off, I just divided my check off sheet into sections. So like for 1 day I’ll learn the first 2-3 sections, then the next day I would Learn the remaining. The first part is normally the easiest because all you are doing is introducing yourself, checking allergies LOC etc.. I practiced on myself and my teddy bear lol
@@everythingshayy5760 okay thank you that makes so much sense
This was an excellent video. Thank you!
I’m glad you found it helpful🤗💕Ty!!
Thank you good info good luck to all us 🙏
Thanks hun.. and yes we ALL will do well🙌🏾
Congrats and Thanks for the tips!!
Thanks hun, good luck with school 💕
What is a review book? Thank u for ur video ❤
Hi!!! I’m glad you liked the video. The review book has nursing info in it such as the disease process, clinical manifestation, complications, patient education, meds etc.. everything is condensed to make it easier to review and focuses on key points. My school was heavy on ATI, so I mostly used the ATI review books. They have some for each class, fundamentals, medsurg, peds etc.. hope that helps🤗💕
Great info Shayy!!! Can you do Pharm? lol Start on the 25th.
Thank hun, and I got you girl 💕
Thank you for your tips. Appreciate it.
No problem, Good luck!!!!🤗
Amazing video - Please make a video on Med Surg ;:)
Med-Surg is a Beast!lol.. I will definitely try to get a video uploaded with some tips🤗
Love this!
Thanks hun💕
Thank you for the great tips
Your so welcome🤗
I am in my first semester and barely passing 😥 my final is coming up.
Hi!! I hope your semester went well😊
@@everythingshayy5760 I barely passed and now I'm struggling with second semester 😩
How do you know how to narrow down which s/a is important? What adverse effect is more important?
@Nesha J Hey Girl!! I swear there’s like a 1000 s/e for each drug lol.. but most of the time your professor will mention the main side effects or adverse for the drugs. Many drugs cause N/V so don’t waste too much time focusing on that. if your teacher is not helpful then I would recommend the Saunders Nclex book. It goes over the major meds after each topic and it’s straight to the point vs an actual drug book.
@@everythingshayy5760 what about when your reading how do u know what's important? Can you do a video on a chapter showing what u think is important and what you study?
@@msgravesjackson86 Ok, I’ll make one when I get some free time. Hopefully next week or week after.
do u have any ebooks that u can share ??
@Anwar Moosa Hi you can try z-lib.org
I’ve heard other students used it and was able to download free pdfs.. so I hope it works for you
I am taking this class now and my teacher does not lecture 😭
OMG I know that is aggravating lol well hopefully she provides a blue print, tutoring or SOMETHING lol you will get through this💕
