Meconium's first album Natus Stercore contains the hit singles:Cellulis Intestinorum, Mucus ammonium, Fluido, Bili, Aqua. Laceratione complevit perinei, and Conscidisti praecosus umbilicus, and the punultimum Canalis Nativitis.
If that's their second album Dave is holding, it's called, 'Break Like the Wind'. I remember them being interviewed and asked why it was so big. One of them said that since their fans were so environmentally conscious, they wanted to give them more cardboard to recycle.
I love Nigel's fashion sense. Heavy metal axe god, clad in Australian surf wear. It's kind of funny how David and Derek's accents have changed over the years. Back in the day there was a kind of Scouse tinge in Derek's accent, and David's prone to the occasional roll of an r or most notably in the movie when he pronounced Cancer as KAHN-suh. Nigel of course, due to his creator's family history, has been bang on from Day One.

Michael McKean was born in NY.. he does a good brit accent. They're so funny. Micheal is a great comedian, so hilarious, he is so talented..and a great actor. Love him in Laverne & Shirley (1976-78) as Lenny & Squiggy (David Lander) and in his other band Lenny & the Squigtones LOL
Christopher Guest played on the Lennie & Squiggy album from Laverne & Shirley under the name of Nigel Tufnel. He's also listed as the inventor of the foldable wine glass in the credits there too!

There were many inspirations for the movie. Uriah Heep’s contribution was being booked to play at an Air Force base, which the movie would go on to use.

These are MASTER-improvisers, I mean, Chris Guest's docs deserve their own genre (look at 'The Office', 'Parks n Rec', all those comedies that are really just parodies of documentaries. (I love 'Modern Family', but when is this 'documentary' going to be 'released', NINE years in the making, lol)
