    I did not soak the plexiglass. I covered the surface with a thin coating of liquid soap or detergent. Shampoo also works. Then let it dry.

    Any liquid dish soap or hand washing soap will do.

    Have you tried soaking the watercolour paper first, using it damp?

    what did you use to soak plexi at first? I didn't catch that.
