You got to feel good for Trubisky! Comes in off the bench & leads the Steelers to victory. Made some big throws, & picked up the game sealing 1st down with his feet. Pittsburgh's defense deserves a lot of credit as well. Terrorized Brady & held the high powered Bucs offense in check. Big win for Tomlin & his players!
I think with Trubisky he just needed that confidence back cause he was playing different then how he did the first couple of weeks

Remember a few years ago Mitch bounced back in Chicago after he'd been temporarily benched for Foles. I think the Steelers braintrust should definitely give Trubisky another shot, especially if Pickett's concussion means he can't play against Miami next week...

Glad to see he did not lose self confidence by being demoted to backup. He has been very professional despite a lot of negative comments about him. This man is truly a quality back up. As some would say, it does not matter who starts, it matters who finishes the game.💪💪

Watching him run up the gut is annoying af……he’s so powerful on a slant pass but we still keep trying to force it up the middle in the red zone……. Literally our only touchdown was on a slant pass to Lenny so aggravating to watch as a Bucs fan yelling for that play all game 😡🤬

Finally, a game without complete incompetence. Absolute GREAT job today by Tomlin and Austin calling defense. Cannot say enough about the plays Matt Canada drew up on offense. I've never praised him but oh my goodness. He deserves it today. Game ball goes to Trubisky and Bush if you ask me. They stepped up when it mattered most. They kept a 2 point lead a 2 point lead. Great job today guys. Make us proud

As a Bengals *and* Packers fan, I never thought I would be genuinely happy for the Steelers and Trubisky. But that was a really great performance, a redemption arc, a hero story (both Pit. QBs, honestly), and also had a lot of GREAT catches.

UNC fan here. Just excited for Mitch. What a gutsy performance. Even if he doesn't start, he can still contribute. He just needs to relax and let the ball go and trust his receivers.
I'm sure you saw last year when he was Allen's backup that Trubisky CAN be successful in this league in the right offensive scheme. I'm not entirely sure that Pittsburgh gave him one honestly, not even leaving aside the impatience over wanting Pickett to start...

It was awesome. He was beyond clutch. He was much more aggressive than he was previous games.

It was a team effort all around, both QBS contributed to this win for the Steelers. How Trubisky played when he came in when Pickett got hurt, is how I hoped he would have played prior to being benched. With that being said, he was fantastic coming in and really just surprised me. Chase Claypool, I was one of his biggest critics, really stepped his game up today.
The whole team did in all phases, offenses getting timely first downs and executing key plays, to the special teams in Boswell hitting a 55 yard field goal and Sims a monster kick return to start the second half plus a 20 plus yard punt return, and the defense finally having a bend but not break mentality. For all the guys that were missing, that unit should be proud that was a collective team effort.
Some big plays by the steelers to get the win. Delighted for Trubisky. He has his critics but he stood up today when it mattered most. Go Steelers!
A lot of the "critics" were ungrateful bastards over in Chicago that pined for Mahomes or Watson instead of appreciating and supporting what they had. That's a lot of the reason why Chicago got suckered so bad by Matt Nagy, and all the rebuilding trouble they're having this year is part of the penance they've had to do for their past sins...

My mom is a huge Steelers fan she passed away Monday this is the first game they played since she has passed they did it for her I truly believe that why I love the Steelers so much win any game anywhere no matter how bad we are
I’m sorry to hear that man. My mom is a big Steelers fan too and she’s getting up there in age (82). She’s been a fan since she first came to America in 1966. It was her way of assimilating into American culture. And she’s been a huge fan since. Through the good and the bad. She never misses a Steelers game. RIP to your mom. I’m saddened by your loss😢.

I'ma steelers fan and I never lost my faith in Mitch trubisky. He led the bears to the playoffs after being booed at the NFL draft, an absolutely classless thing to do to a rookie who just accomplished his dream to play in the NFL. Then given a second chance in Pittsburgh he's booed off the field for having a terrible offensive coordinator..he had his back against the wall today and this is how the young man responds after unfair treatment by 2 fan bases. As a Steeler fan I feel lucky to have him whether as a back up or a starter. Because mason Rudolph wouldn't have pulled out that win and neither would duck Hodges, Dennis Dixon, Landry Jones, old Mike Vick or any of the other backups we've had over the years besides Charlie batch. I like your toughness Mitch. You just did what big Ben did only 3 times in his 18 year career. Beat tom Brady. And kudos to the D and claypool

Was a great team win by the Steelers. When they needed plays by their defense the came through in a big way, the tipped pass from Brady by miles Jack and the rejection of the 2pt conv. pass by Devon Bush were major keys. Also big thanks to Mitch for showing what great sportsmanship looks like

tom played good though.He had over 60% completion but more importantly he passed the eye test. the real atrocity was the playcalling, running the ball down the middle on 3rd downs. Making the plays rb centric and not including the recievers where they could exploit the 6th string dbs.

I will admit that I was wrong in giving up on Trubisky, as there is great potential there, and we need that if Pickett were to ever get hurt again. Today, the Steelers stepped up offensively and defensively. THIS is how the Steelers need to play from this day forward, if they hope to get to the playoffs.

I saw the Steelers go up 7-0 and was like “hold on”. This was a tale of two different games for Pittsburgh after last week.
As a Steelers fan. It was great to watch Brady for the first time in person. And for my first time to watch him in person to lose !! Makes it even better

Idk if anyone saw but 3:48 that was a great block by the Steelers offense! The linemen saw he needed to block for harris and stepped up great awareness !

I wouldn’t say they out schemed anybody. D played tough, no doubt. Picket left game with under 70 yards passing. He looks good at times. Receivers hung on to the ball. Still crappy play calling. Predictable. They still avoid throwing to the middle of the field. They finally did in 4th Qrt and magically things opened up.
Coaching didnt out scheme the bucs we won because of the playets not the play calling this coaching staff is horrible tomlin is a motivayor not a tactician canadas offense is boring and predictable every rhrow is contested and it shows the talent we have in our players we have a young talent team and its going to be wasted like the killer bees were because poor ass scheming and play calling

I'm really happy for Mitch. He Came in and played to win! I thought that he was playing not to LOSE previous to getting benched for Kenny. When Kenny got hurt Mitch was ready! Amazing. No one thought the Steelers could win against Tampa Bay, neither did I. Tampa Bay played DIRTY Football today. I saw their players pushing Kenny to the ground AFTER the play was over. I also saw a LATE HIT on Mitch after he was on the ground.. Tampa Bay is a classless bunch of THUGS.
The NFL instructs the officials not to make those kind of calls against Little Tommy's team.

Steelers faced a good Oline/coordinator today. If that front 6-7 can continue like this, and the D gets healthy, they can win a lot of games just scoring 20 like they did today.
The real hero of the game was Kenny Pickett. He handled their lead with his great passes and drove the offensive team to their first TD of the game. Congratulation for his first NFL TD.
