It world of tanks blitz its still pretty good it has the most accurate gun and fastest aim time in the game and fastest shell velocity and 2nd highest DPM for a tier 10 medium at 3300 DPM only slightly behind the leopard 1
I started grinding the t-62 when it was amazing.. now as I’m wrapping up the Final bit of XP on the T-54, I’m quite sad

I think personally that the t62a is one of the only tanks left in the game that actually needs knowledge of game mechanics to use its strengths
that and the LTs, as in manticore and t100lt, EBR is fucking race care, the other ones like Sheridan are just half an medium, not a LT
T29 with all speed boosts gets a 44kph limit, plus spall liner, hull down = win. Fun to hold entire flanks against tier9s.

Wish I unlocked the Obj 140 all those years ago, especially since it’s recent buff. That said, the 62a hull down is BEAST, even more so when the small cupola is hidden, it’s unstoppable. Great sniper too!!

This video reminds me of the game I had last night in my type 61 and ended with 7 kills and 5.8k damage. I'm still learning even after a decade of playing. I'm either too late or too early flanking.

For those of you wondering wtf I'm talking about, no you don't have to be good to have a chieftain. You don't even need to be in a top clan.. You just needed a stupid amount of bonds (50k - 70k) or paid someone to play for you during chieftain available campaigns

im pretty sure next time Chieftain is available in CW as a reward, it will be closer 100k bonds. The last CW tanks weren't really worth spending bonds on, so people have saved up a lot of bonds for when the Chieftain comes again
@@robinkhn2547 I hope not lol I’ve been wanting to get a chieftain for so long! But every CW season I seem to get screwed over. I’ve only got 53k bonds 😭
@@robinkhn2547 I highly doubt it's going to be that high. 70k - 80k is about what I think the cutoff will be. 100k is just way too high. *then again just join a top clan and get high enough in leaderboard so you don't have to bid*
I feel like with 1 more degree of gun depression it puts the T62 back in the game
I agree I love mine, but the gun depression is annoying sometimes
2 make it actually good like on wotb
They just buff the t62 in console. Engine power buff, max speed to 58 and now it has 6° of gun dépression.
Got to crawl all over one of these back in the day while going thru the Armor Advanced Course at Ft., Knox. I am a short guy which helps working in Armor but the drivers seat was cramped for me with two laterals to steer and a manual transmission that had to be a goat rope to use when going around curves and needing to catch a gear. Keep up the good work QB and God bless.
Loving the more in-depth thinking behind the game play. It's still entertaining but also really helpful for those of us really trying to improve at the margins. Thanks!
i feel like the T-62A would actually be a pretty damn good tank if they gave it the gun it actually used in real life (the 115mm) but who knows

Funny of you to say about Maus to use his armour... whenever i see an Maus in the enemy team i think is a hp pinata.i kinda enjoy playin underated tanks, like Ryno for istance. Anyway , gg .
@@Jules-kp7rw even with 340 Penn it still is hard to cause damage to Maus if you really know how to angle it. Turret is basically impenetrable when angled in the right way. I still don’t k know that way of angling it tho

Call me a hopeless romantic, but the T-62A is still my favorite medium tank. Yes... the others are better, but I still have a soft spot in my heart for this tank.

Don't know about you guys, but my Dad and I actually REALLY enjoy the T-62A. Such a nice low profile, good turret armor, and AMAZING gun accuracy all while having a fully traversable turret. Saw that they've made it into a collector's vehicle.

Great video, you were very lucky the enemy didn't send a fast scout to the island in the 1st game, they would have caught you crossing over the water. There's that nice bush they love to use between F/G and 1/2. That happens to me quite a bit when my tank is too slow to take the hill, and I see the flank is undefended. Even when I hug the back wall it's quite dangerous, it was fortunate all of their LT went hill allowing you the opportunity to flank. Likewise the 2nd game the enemy completely ignored city allowing you to stop pushing and consolidate your hold in the middle. Pretty much atypical games from the norm.

Just finished to grind my chi-ri, and what you say is really the thing that matters when playing definitly underperforming tank: appart from really top tier matchup, you can't play the chi-ri outside of a support role, is really too weak. I actually quite enjoyed it in the end, as the gun is really unique at least
I play that tank and I love it. Win chanse are depending also on the team.
I didn't play WoT (for more than half a decade) but I love to watch these videos for some reason

Hey QB, try playing a pimped-out Schwartzpanzer. Bounty/bond equipment and the field mods really wake it up - it becomes a Progetto that lacks the burst-fire mode.
The t62A is one of my favorite tanks!

I knocked the dust off my t62a a few weeks ago after at least a year, it's fun because the meta players aren't used to dealing with the old beast, I was able to dominate several meta medium tanks (I'm barely an average player) so much fun.

Imagine if the tank had the 115 mm gun instead. It would singlehandedly overtake the other russian meds (maybe)

yeah that's what I've been protest into them not realizing that T-62 never ever use 100mm what so ever in their service they implied an A variant that never got enter in production nor service if I remember correctly T-62 with a 115mm is more capable to pen any other NATO tanks at the time in 60s it's accurate and reliable even though it was the first introduction of smoothbore cannon that leads other countries use smoothbore as well. Then this WG suddenly put Obj-430U in game without realizing that T-62 would left behind in the game, and I was disappointed that they ignore this tanks history.
@@mikazukiaugus6321 Dude, 115mm is a smoothbore gun that can fire APFSDS, if that thing also in the game, WG will finally have an excuse to introduce MBT composite armor and modern APFSDS with 330-700mm penetration in tier 11. At that point, we are nothing more than another Warthunder with HP.
@@yuvensiuslie3798 that doesn't mean they need to establish a new kinetic or sub caliber rounds what I'm trying to improve here is to rework T-62 in WG, have you ever thought that L7A1 105 mm can fire APDS as well as 120mm on chieftain and Conquer, what I'm pointing here is to change the Gun since they releases Obj-430U in the beginning they knew that this tank would become favorable to them and they don't need exactly change the shell as well since T-62 can Fire APCR rounds as HEAT regular in there service in 60s.
Hi quickybaby. Maybe it's a good idea to make a video about how to communicate with your team during a battle. I mean wich chat do you use team/platoon. And how to use short sentences to get messages across
Love my T62A. It bounces shots great! I have had many times over 2x my HP bounced! Wish it had more gun depression. 10 degrees would make it awesome!

I think what helps more is knowing the tanks your coming up against. Because knowing what you can take on solo helps a lot.

Back in 2013 , this is one of the most dangerous tank in the game along with object 140
I used to not care how i played. but as ive learned all the different tanks and there abillitys it has become much easer to think about where to go and play.
The real T-62 had a 115mm gun, and I think that is largely all that is needed for this tank. Imagine it with the same gun handling it has now, but with a Leopard 1 style gun with 400+alpha and similar accuracy. The Soviet sniper. Maybe even a little armor buff with some spaced armor on the hull to mimic modern reactive armor. I thought it was always fun back in the day, a tank I enjoyed more than the 140. It just needs a few minor tweaks to be really competitive again
Yeah, it would basically be a Leopard 1 with slightly more alpha and shell velocity, but worse gun depression and dispersion. Well that and having turret armor.

Its kinda interesting to see how the worst performing tanks on wot pc are the best on wot blitz, the t62A is one of the best t10 mediums currently, the Obj263 is one of the strongest Tier 10 tds (and for what i know, its tier 9 on wot pc) oh and also the fact that some premiums tanks are tech tree tanks on wot blitz. Like the FV215B, t10 tech tree heavy tank on wotB. Fv215b 183, tier 10 tech tree TD, while the badger is a collector tank.
Very interesting to watch as an inexperienced player. I tend to hide in a bush and then get one tapped as soon as I'm spotted 🤣
Just because it is outshined, it doesnt mean its bad. The potential with its gun is still incredible
I think the t 62 is a beast i got it a long time ago and still play it to this day its amazing tank when u get the hang of it like 5k damage is a ton for this beast

T 62 A one of my favorite medium tank, not expensive and equivalent almost as obj 140 and obj 905 tank.
Where do I go at start, with the lemmings mostly, no use trying to hold a flank on your own, it only ends badly.
Isn't using 3 bonds equipments a bit of a waste as you miss off the bonus on the first one (and the second if you have the field modificaton)
2:35 I find it hard to play in this position. When I peak there, 5 TDs are waiting for me. I don't know why the WT-Pz4 and the Jagdtiger completely ignore you.

Do you have to use 6 pieces of equipment when you use that option.
For me t62a is better than 140. Better turret and I have almost 100% hit ratio on the move with t62a. I don't know why but it almost never miss when moving even on huge distances, like we've seen in second replay.
Same thing does NOT apply to platoons just go all in and all shoot 1 😂
