+QuickyBabyTV I don't really see the difference on my pc, but it does consume more energy. I therefore prefer 45 fps. I can't always play a video on 1,25 or 1,5x speed when it's set to 60 fps.

I'm more object 140
+QuickyBabyTV You often say 140's advantage is speed, but IMO speed difference is negligible. If you race from spawn to your initial position with those two tanks, T-62A will fall behind by less than a second. I've been paying attention to that a lot lately. And that's on a good terrain. Pass over just one obstacle like a stone fence and your speed advantage becomes nonexistent.
Also, 140 is more susceptible to module damage IMO.
Which one is better? I always say - if you have to ask, you probably won't even know how to exploit the subtle differences and mitigate subtle disadvantages of one over the other. Both are fantastic and you'll have very similar results in both.
Also it's situational. In some situations, 140 does slightly better, and in others the T-62A does slightly better. Which one of them does better in *more* situations? Impossible to say.

To be honest the take down of the IS-7 is one of the main reasons I am anti prem rounds. You should not be able to nullify a tank's main strength by gold ammo. If a IS-7 could buff his armour with prem or massively buff his speed then the game may be more balanced with prem (worse imho but more balanced). However by now I think everyone has their opinion on prem ammo and I doubt anyone will change it :) (mine is it is the single worse thing they have done to the game and it broke so much that they have had to fix and I still do not think they can balance tanks for use with and without it).
+Robert Pettigrew Because of premium I have to treat my t110e3 as a paper tank lol it really is a game breaker for me but If I feel like trolling the gold spammers and HE spammers too, I'll load up my is7 and go hull down, I bounce object 268 gold all day lol and fvb183s only do 2-300 damage with their HE-hesh shells, it makes me laugh

What I hate the most are those idiots using it where they absolutely have no reason for it. You can always load it for a heavy and then a sudden Light tank appears and you don'T have time to reload or you simply ran out of normal ammunition, but a Matilda in a T5 Match? OR against a Sturer Emil, who you know is there?

The situation is even worse with E 100. If you don't angle your turret perfectly, every HEAT round will go through it.
Even if you angle it perfectly, some guns still manage to penetrate the turret.

Not every heat round, it can be troll when e100's fight each other. Sometimes you'll be penning the turret face with every shot other times it'll be bouncing off, e100 heat isn't reliable when fighting other e100's for some reason
I was hulldown with my T-62A against a JagdPanzer E 100, I wasn't even wiggling, he shot my turret and bounced. It was AP round if I'm not mistaken.
well you must be lucky as hell ever game in mine so far iam overmatched by ever t10 gun

Hey QB, glad you made this video when you did. I'm getting ready to graduate from my T-54 to either a OBJ 140 or a T-62A. From you comments and the comments below, I'm leaning towards the T-62A, it seems more my style of medium.
One thing QB forgot to mention (I think, unless I missed it) is that the Obj 140 has a 120mm UFP (upper frontal plate), whereas the T-62A only has 100mm UFP. This means the Obj 140 has an effective armour value of around 200mm on its upper plate, whereas the T-62A only has around a 160mm effective UFP. That's the difference between consistently bouncing most tier 8 tanks and some tier 9 tanks with a bit of angling (E 50, T54E1, T-54, etc.) and simply not. If they were to have the same hull armour I'd say they're pretty much on par with eachother, but the 140 takes the cake in my opinion along with many other people's opinions because that slightly superior mobility and better armour overall beats the T-62A's better turret armour and overall traverse speeds.
Other than that nice review of the two.
Edit: Oh yeah, the 60 FPS feedback. I personally really like it as it provides a much nicer viewing experience for those who have invested the money in a decent PC, however I know many haven't and from Jingles' videos before I remember he got some hate from people with potatoes for computers. I'd say yeah I like the 60 FPS, but it's obviously down to you if the views go down too much from people who can't play the videos.
I thought the 140 and t62a both had 100 frontal armor but I may be wrong
+Vaas Montenegro Im sorry but I am pretty sure you are wrong on this one, as said below, the 430 has 120mm very well angled armour, both the 62A and the 140 have the same hull armour.

Lunchbox2501 Velancious ThaFunkster100 CheesyKiller Cheese I thought the 140 had 120mm hull armour but it doesn't, my bad, however the 100mm UFP is much better angled on the 140 than on the T-62, meaning the T-62A has a 175mm effective upper plate whereas the 140 has a 200mm upper plate. 60fps is much better. But I must ask, how come you didn't go to 60fps straight off the bat? You started at 45fps. Is it solely worrying about if people can watch the vid? Because anyone with a half decent pc can watch videos at 60fps.

most PC nowadays can put a 60 fps video up but quite often i know peoples internet is not fast enough to load a 60 fps video

I can't really tell the difference between 60 FPS and 45.
I am also trying to figure out which tanks should I grind between the two. It's so hard to decide, 140 has better gun depression but 62a has better turret; 140 has better speed but 62a better turning, 140 has lower profile but 62a better gun and so on...
I'd like to ask QB or anybody who own the two tanks, between better turret and better gun depression, which one would you chose? Let's say the two tanks would merge and you would have to chose between gun depression and turret armor, which one do you think plays a more important role?
+Vlad Pomar depends on your playstyle. I do consistently well in the 140 but can't do any meaningful damage in the 62A. Obj's turret is also dependable enough imo, since I never "sit" in a hulldown spot unless I'm ambushing, and straight after shooting I pull back.
I prefer the Obj 140, the only way I know to explain it is "smooth". Everything about its performance is proportionately smooth. It gets me in the groove were I do better just because its handling is so nice, T62A has better stats for the most part but its kind of a jerky quick tank.

sure you can quickly manouver around the battlefield in the t62a aswell but why getting the great turret
use it as an advantage and move quickly from one hull down position to another

So as I understand it, you could generally split the two up as equals with different advantages to certain playstyles: T-62A for a defensive, hull-down tank good at snap shots, and the Obj. 140 with a faster, more aggressive playstyle with a more grounded gun on the move.

My platoon mates needed me to assist them and that required a swift takedown of the IS-7, check the post game stats for the profit I made this round.
+Snakebyte32123 Unfortunately it is a game feature. In order to win you should make the decision to load premium ammo when the situation demands it. Whether it is ethically justified to use it, is more difficult to answer :P

I couldn't tell too much difference and I have a great machine but a few people did not like the 60 so I say play to the masses and do 45 fps or so as people are listening to you and not too interested in the looks of the playback-I am just glad you do them and thank you.

I Think QB nailed it with the general descriptions of these tanks.T-62A is definitely a defensive tank, with the turret armor and superior turret-traverse-gun-handling. A bit more HP also helps.140, with its superior hull armor, speed, and on the move dispersion, coupled with its lesser ability to use static positions compared to the 62 distinguish it as a more aggressive tank.My answer to the 140 vs. 62A debate is: How aggressive do you like to play?Bonus: the expected damage for the 140 is much higher than that of the 62a, so if you like to farm wn8, 62a is the way to go.
I like the 60fps. It's a lot smoother, and overall more satisfying to watch.
Should have definitely shown a 62a replay showing the turret armour and fire power differences. You prefer the 140 and it is clear that you are self affirming your view rather than giving an even showing of both the tanks.
Anyway that was a fun game to watch :)

Hey QB, I know this sounds weird but it seems like my PC handles better 60fps than 45. What I think the reason is because you recorded/rendereded it at 45FPS but YT was playing it at 48FPS which made the sound and the video unsynced. But when I skipped like a second forwards or backwards it synced again. This is fine all lenght of the video. Does this mean you already hooked up your new PC?

Feedback on video quality: Obviously you can't make everyone happy, and I think it's good we have a 60fps cap. Who has a good enough computer and / or connection to watch this in 720p/1080p @60fps enjoys it amazingly (and it is worth it), those who don't can stick up to the 480p format.
I was watching on iPad 2 and it was fine, I appreciated being able to clearly read chat, even if I needed a magnifying glass.
140 over the 62. 140 side armor are stronger since it's sloped while the t-62 is flat and front armor effected by sloping to only 170-180mm maximum while 140 has better sloping angle, giving its 190+ mm thick of effective thickness.

My PC, which has Msi GTX 750 Ti GPU in it runs 1080p 60 fps smoothly and my phone SM-G900F (Galaxy S5) runs 1080p at 60fps as smoothly, no problems at the hardware side at all, but then strikes my awful internet. It can't keep up anymore, i used to be able to play 1080p at 60fps, but now its just awful. But I still love this 60fps. There is a big difference for me between 30, 45 and 60fps. I hope you keep it. The quality is just amazing
Quality is better, it's much more comfortable to watch than, let's say, 30 fps. 45 fps is alright if it bothers you too much to upload in 60fps, but 60 fps is a very welcome addition to your great video's! :)
You forgot to mention that the 140 effectively has more frontal armour. Also the 140 has more rear hull armour, so it is less vulnerable to he shells.
Regarding the 60 FPS video, for me personally, I did not see enough differences since my internet speed here is not quite fantastic enough, so all the time I'm always using 480p. But, viewing your video here - in 480p - I did not find any error or difficulties either. Basically it's doesn't show apparent differences here. BUT, I support your 60FPS video upload, and IF that is not giving you troubles either, keep uploading in 60! Even though my PC can't show the difference much, but I'm sure there's other viewer who has better infrastructure than me and obviously 60 FPS is way way way more interesting to watch.

This is our debate with my friend aswell. We are both at the T-44 and we have to decide. We both agreed on T-62A because we don't want to constantly keep hiding our cupolas and get set on fire frontaly
Thanks QB. I am 2 days away from pulling the trigger on this very decision. I am leaning to 140. Been working the crew WG gave us from last version if rampage to up their skills in premium tanks.

60 FPS Looks great. Now on the Obj 140 all I can say is that I really enjoy playing it, and thanks to your video I now know that I should probably invest in getting the 62A due to my play style. I really enjoy your RUclips channel and I believe that it helps me become an all around better player.

Simply get both of them. Sirfoch did a good job explaining that getting T-62A and the Object 140 are both worth it. There are some differences between them but they are both worth it. The 430 is the worst of the 3 Russian tier 10 mediums in about every category. So get the 140 and the T-62A. The 140 has good turret armor and 6 degrees of gun depression and the 62A gets 5 and nearly impenetrable turret armor. I have not driven the 62A but the 140 ties for my fav tier 10.

Is almost ok @ 60 fps, but it was cuting the video here and there, so for my PC I had to drop to 720@60fps. Wish you good hunting!

I usually use my laptop and I watch your videos mostly for tips and recommendations so that part is not really a priority to me. 720/60 was good though for me. A request if I may, would you consider making a video of your favourite tanks through tiers?

Object 140
The 100 mm U-8TS gun was replaced with the 100 mm D-54TS that has similar characteristics. Now the T-62A and the Object 140 have technically different guns, which allow applying different settings to these vehicles.
The type and cost of the basic shells were changed. The APCR shells (average penetration-240 mm, average damage-310 HP, cost-1,100) were replaced with the AP shells (average penetration-240 mm, average damage-310 HP,

I don't notice any difference, regardless as the video or from my cpu performance.
It seems my computer can handle 60 fps videos.
But as long as i understand what is happening on the video, i don't mind lower frame quality. I am one of the kind of old school gamers that mind the quality itself over the good looking of something.

just got the t62a a couple days ago. so far i love it but i do wish it had a touch more alpha. Biggest perk of having it is that its fun while still always making money unlike many of the tier tens.

I personally like the Obj 430 over both the 62a and the 140, I don't mind the bad gun-depression, and the rate of fire is god-like
Personaly, the 45 FPS was enough for me. the quality is better, but it does not make that big of an impact for me. But one thing, now your facecam is starting to get outdated. the video quality is so good but the cam is blurry. dont know if it is just settings or maybee you should get a new one? :P
Hey QB, can you please investigate the effect of the new HD model for T-62A??? Alot of comments on here and other sources claiming the new HD model is full of weak spots.

Quality is better. Do keep it at 60. I seriously doubt that anyone outside of Africa lacks the computational power to play a 1080p/60p video stream.
i can't say i myself noticed a huge difference between 45-60 fps, but idk. both of them load within a second so either option is perfectly fine with me.

45 was the sweet spot. My office computer struggles when I try working and watching 60fps at the same time. And 60fps was not that much of a quality lift.
The thing that Soviet Meds can do better than most tanks is they can side scrape and go hull down with a steel turret especially with the T62a and patch 0.9.17 - 0.9.22.3 pretty much all three Soviet Meds :D

Sorry for unrelated question, but I see you didn't get ace badge even with a whooping 7k+ damage. I'm struggling very hard to get my ace badge for my leopard 1 aswell, and it doesn't seem like doing a butt load of damage affects my experience at all. No idea how I can get this badge on the leo, I have almost 500 battles in it and mastery 1 is the closest yet. Any advice?
