Quickybaby, you have helped me to become a much better player. From watching your videos I went from a 48% player to a 53%... I am still climbing each day. I have also developed a love for medium tanks from watching your videos. After 8000 games of just heavies and tds... I had enough slugging around. I am currently on my way up the Chinese medium tree, and with the amount of knowledge of the maps I currently have, I am able to remedy their weaknesses and I am finding myself at home in them. The T-34-1 is by far my favourite tank right now, and I cannot wait for the next tanks up. I also plan to pursue the T-62A, Object 140 and the Object 430... and while my resources are substantially limited compared to yours, I am confident that as an ever improving player, I will get these tanks in a small amount of time. Thank you for doing what you do. On a side note... I never, ever get frustrated using a medium tank. For some reason I am always satisfied with however they play... where in my heavies and tds, I can sometimes get very frustrated... I'm not sure why, but there's something about saving a game in the last seconds thanks to my mobility that just feels right.
Hey Quicky, is Sixth Sense OP? Should it be nerfed? Perhaps with a small delay or something? I find that you and many others rely heavily on Sixth Sense in your play style.
This is one of the firs videos where you get "into it" and give us a methodology to persue a higher level of play...THAT is exactly the topic I would like to hear more about. You are SO good in the game if I could play half as well as you I would feel successful. Great video...please keep it up! :)
It may just be selective memory but with QB's live-action (stream and commentary) focus I don't feel he has quite the same depth as before. That being said, it's still enough depth to be enjoyable commentary!
One of the better analysis of the game and the process of progressing and raising quality as a player, QB. Just playing first games with my Obj 140 and your observations are to fully in accordance with my initial thought how to play this tank. Although I have so far been "in love" with my T54, I think I've found a new love. GJ!
great advice Quickybaby I feel my game has improved 5 fold since playing T10 mediums struggled at first but keep at it and learnt how to play world of tanks. all my states are now on the increase... love the mediums. keep up the great work on the videos... looking forward to 9.0
Problem with only playing tier 10 is credits . . especially if your not premium . . . As for ppl who worries about their ingame stats . . . just don't, thats what made me frustrated about the game when i was having bad nights. Now i just play the game for enjoyment since ive stopped worrying about my stats :P
I'll never reach tier 10. I seem to be on a mission to try out as many lines as possible. Nearly 8,800 games played and I haven't even researched a tier 9, yet alone a 10. Though I do have about 12 different tier 8s in my garage right now. Play a line, then "Oh, that line looks fun", add another tank to my garage, rinse and repeat. Same thing here, now after watching you in your Soviet mediums I really need to add the T-34 to my garage and start my way up that line, oh, and I still need to buy the T20 and make my way up the American medium line too.
Don't worry about it. I bought my first heavy tank after 10k games and 3 years of playing the game, and it was the T-62A which I started grinding the first day the game came out of Beta. I currently grinding 15 or 16 tank lines so yeah, it goes slowly. Tier 10 is not that exciting anyway. My sweet spot is tiers 6-8.
I got my first tier 10(fv420 in 900 battles. Im now at 3.4k games and im getting my 2nd and 3rd tier 10s(t62 and obj) and i must admit, tier x isnt fun, i only get them for clan wars thats all. Oh btw, thanks to QB, im not a pancake either, i have 2270 wn8 and 57.8% wr
Thank you Quicky! I am now in a situation that I am keeps losing games. My win ratio decreased from 51.90% to 49.70% from last few weeks. I was losing hope on myself. but from this video, i feel more confidence! thank u again!
for me, it was just as you said. in the beginning i just played TD's. then, about half a year ago, i tried the british medium tanks. my playstyle quickly changed a lot and i liked how it felt to be a dominant, game winning player. right now i am not a bad player, but i feel like i could improve more, although it looks like i am at a stale at the moment. i hope that i will figure it out to become a unicum one day (my tanks name is the same as here, if anybody doubts my performance :D )
Great review once again QB. Totally agree with you on the tiers. For me, it took me around 7k games to get my first tier 10 cause I was grinding multiple tiers and took to playing against tier 10 in tier 8s a lot. and it did raise my game a lot. I find that tier 8 is the tier when it all starts to happen and just ramps up from there.
Great video quicky! i like the tips at the end. calculated aggression is something ive always struggled with as im the kind of player that if i see an opportunity and even an idea, its very hard for me not to go for. which is something ill most likely disclose of the next clan i go with so they know my nature and can help keep my berserker-like mentality in check. Up till now, even though i really like the look of the soviet mediums, in particular the 140, and know that their brawler like style is probly the best tank for my style, ive been VERY reluctant to grind for them. Simply because I've hated how they made their soviet meds so much stronger than all the other med lines. sure you have those unique niche tanks like the batchat or the leopard 1 (the latter i own and absolutely love), but lets face it - the vast majority of tanks of its class, the russian mediums outclass to a ridiculous margin. That being said, I've finally decided to accept it instead of resisting it and just grind for the tank. Because despite what i think, its clear at this point that WG is not about to change making their tanks the mainstay of clan battles. Nor are they going to properly balance them out with the rest of the tanks. Who knows? maybe now that im finally going to get it, they may just flip the whole WoT world upside down and REALLY rebalance their tanks.... It would figure as much now that im getting it. lol. but thats ok. because i got plenty of other tier 10 meds to choose from now if they do. so its a win-win for me either way now. What I still continue to not understand is.... aside from 'russian bias' and 'just hates us Americans and anything American", why is the M48 made so bad??? Currently it's literally the slowest medium in the game. As well as the 2nd worst accuracy for its top tier gun upgrade. 2nd only to the batchat and the 430. Usually when a tank is slower it means either it has a crappy engine or it has ALOT of armor. But it doesnt. Sure, on paper it 'looks' like its good. but its decieving. that 170ish frontal armor is ONLY at the very tip of the tank front. Even the turret isnt so great since it has one of the biggest tumor weak spots in the game. Every section of real armor is sadly shadowed by very easy weak spots all over. making it useless. unreliable at best. So why does so many other tanks get SOO much more reliable armor and yet is far faster? people rant about its ability to shoot on the move. big deal. so can the russian meds when speced right as this plainly shows. hell, even my E50M, a sniper, can do that well enough. at least they have speed and REAL armor.
I'm working on getting my T110E5 now, but it's a very different game experience at tier 9-10 in my M103 right now. I almost feel like I'm re-learning the game in some ways. My W/R is not nearly as good in the M103 as it is in most of my other tanks - but I won't figure it out of I don't play it, eh? Good advice and good game, QB!
QuickBaby, your words at the end really encouraged me. Im exactly that kind of player you described:Im stuck in 47% win rate with my T62A and I really wanna get out of there but Im afraid of my ratings and especially of losing credits, as I dont have a premium account. But after getting enough credits for my LeoPTA I will only play Tier 9 and 10.
I think we all learn at different points QB and I think that certain tanks teach you certain playstyles but not all that you really need to know. Medium tanks will teach you how to properly exploit your speed and maneuverability. Heavy tanks will teach how to brawl, angle and sidescrape, TDs will teach you to have patience and make your shots counts. Artillery will teach you how to lead your target and to predict a target's movement based on what you can see him doing in the first few seconds. Light tanks will teach you how to scout both agressively and passively. As for when I started to learn how to play better. It began on the tiger 2... Funny how I have horrible stats on it but the stock grind was mercyless on me. However the thing that truly made my stats go up was the KV-2. I managed to learn a lot from the KV-2. It has a gun which cares not for sidescraping or angling and it can potentially oneshot tanks of it's own tier. I've lost count as to how many KV-1S I've one shot. But it isn't just that. The gun is the strong point but all the rest is pretty dreadful about that tank. Weak armor, but angled can ocasionally bounce a shot. Huge turrent means that you cannot sometimes see the enemy, but they can see the top of your turrent. Learning to play with a high reload. It isn't just that the damage potential of it made my stats better. Because of the whole disadvantages the tank has to make up for the incredible gun it really made me learn how to play better. I've probably played some 300 or 400 games with it in a row at some point and after that when I started playing other tanks I noticed a massive difference in how battles went. For me, that's the tank I always guide people towards if they want to learn. the KV-2 can teach you a great deal of stuff while being perhaps one of the tanks that punishes you least for you mistakes. Being a tier 6 you're never going to lose money and any shot that hits is guaranteed to do damage. However to rip monster games in it you do have to learn how to make the best of it.
Affirmative! Light and medium tanks are a very good way to learn map positions. SPGs aren't bad at this either, since you need to predict where enemies will appear (you also need to predict how they will behave for the folowwing few seconds).
Mr. Quickybaby, I have around 15k battles currently, but when I was around 6-7k battles I felt I hit a plateau, where I could not get above a 1500 WN6. But then I discovered the Cromwell tank. It was an epiphany tank that taught me that armor, while it can be valuable, is not necessary to carry a battle. As a learning player, you cling to heavy tanks because they do not punish so harshly when you make a mistake, but with mediums you have those games where the positioning is perfect and you wreck a whole team seemingly out of just being in the right place, which is something only mediums and lights are capable of doing. Now I play mediums almost exclusively, with lights in an increasing amount (T71 also was an epiphany, on your advice thank you!) and my scores have skyrocketed in the last year since discovering mediums. I just unlocked the E50M (first T10 Medium) and I can already tell it will be an amazing tank, but I do feel there is some severe teething with Tier 10s that you need to get through to unlock your next stage of play. I'm trying to break through to take the next step to get to be a unicum, as currently I am a blue player.
Love the vids. Thanks. Keep them coming! 40 games ago I got my first tier X the T110E5 and I've done nothing but lose in it. My solution has been two fold. 1. I went back to playing tier 5 for fun and stats (cos when it stops being fun it gets frustrating very very quickly), my tier 8s to have fun and grind, and for the tiers 9 & 10 I've asked my clan for help (platooning with better players so they can show me the ropes). I think a good clan is really important and you never mention that.
i dont have tier 10 yet , BUT ..... when i fight in IS (my current top tier) most of the time , i barely get to medium of my team list as top tier tank... so its kinda hard to play it vs stronger tiers... but , after i sit back in KV-1S, i simply dominate it , because i got tricks from tier 8- tier 9 games... Same thing with other games.. when i played WoW on retail, i was high rated player, went to some private server, dominated it , and when i came back to retail, i had no idea wheres my head , and wheres my bottom... It is MUCH MUCH better to fight vs stronger opponents. That is how you become stronger , and true experience is built there... Nice video, nice tips. Huge support from me. Cheers
Excellent footage of the 140. I personally do not like the tank much but hey, I would say that because I'm a TD player :) For me, I find that playing the 2nd line or even 3rd line sniper TD so rewarding when you use your tank properly to back up your offensive line. However, I will say I do love the occasional run out in my Cromwell and my ELC. Two amazingly quick tanks that have such a massive difference in gameplay from my TDs. Anyway, thanks again QB. I'll pop by your stream at some point tonight so hopefully I'll see you there.
I think Tier 10 was a shock to me at first, but now when I think of it, now I play Tier 10 regularly I am amazed at the lack of skill in lower tier matches (NA server). It was only through watching Jingles at first, and then QB, that I've managed to pull myself up from
My first experiences with high tiers was in the Chaffee. I think it helped me better prepare for tier 8+ games actually, heck I didn't even have a tier 8 I think when I got it. I had to adjust my gameplay though because I got it right before the accuracy update. I use to be rather reckless and count on enemies missing me in scout tanks beforehand, lol!
Great vid, especially that part on the end when you talked about learning curves and improving ones playstyle. Have you ever thought about some tutorial style videos where you pick one tank that is for example very mobile but very fragile (like lets say a WZ-131 or 132) and explain how one can learn to use its advantages (map awareness, fast flanking etc.) to improve your skill overall? I'm currently struggeling with my A-43 because of its tier 5 gun but I'm sure if played correctly this tank can really benefit the team and if mastered, the skills learned could help me out a lot with my other medium tanks.
Yes - very interesting advice - and great game - thanks QB. But I do not agree in QB manner to play Top Tier in order the learn maps and tactics. This should have been done before - learning to handle the tank should be the goal in Tier X. I dont play my Tier X so often, because I recognise every now and then, that I do not own all the map positions and of course all the specs of my enemy tanks.... Meet me at Tier V-VII.. ;-) and sometimes III and IV
I do appreciate this. If you don't mind the competition, perhaps a series of videos that, instead of showing entire games, focus on some (or many) of your favorite medium routes across a range of maps - from multiple spawn points - then another on favorite heavy routes, then arty focus points. They don't have to be for the full game, just in the first 2 minutes from spawn for each position/tank/spawn.
I only have the 140, but the difference (from the 62A) is basically: weak, slow turret; +1 depression; +5 km/h; slightly less accurate gun; slightly smaller silhouette; slightly better hull armour, but only effective against weak tier 8 guns. I don't think the positives are worth it, particularly due to the slow and vulnerable turret, but I haven't played the 62A on the live server. (If you are wondering why I consider 40 d/s turret 'slow', it is relative to the track traverse (which is very high on Soviet T10 meds) and the common role of fast paced close combat which can benefit from a very fast turret.)
I think the hull is also slightly more sloped and the turret is still so angled it is most likely going to bounce anyway. That extra 20mm of hull armor at that angle can make all the difference in the world.
you are not wrong with your end piece, when i hit my tier 10s my win rates were all low-mid 40's (ZE100, IS7, IS4 then Batchat) where my normal win rate is around 52%, i stopped playing them, then came back once i had some more learning behind me and now all the win rates are steadily climbing and tier 10 is probably my best performing tier, patience patience patience
Okay guys I've got an idea! What do you guys think about 'The Race Too Tier X' huh isn't it a good idea? If GB made like this kind of series or what do you want to call if that could be awesome! What do you you think guys? QB if you read this please think about it! ;)
I'm not sure how much substance there is to the theory of different metagame from country to country, but I play on the NA server and generally most matches above tier 5-6 are completely one-sided. Even playing the best you can, sometimes you end up playing with a team where more than half your tanks can't even do a single point of damage. This is especially frustrating at tier X, as you might imagine, where the repair bills even on premium are staggering. However, I agree that tier X mediums are when mediums are at their best; they never have to worry about being bottom tier, and as a result do not have to worry about being beaten by a truly better tank. I think tier X is an environment where you will learn, because if you don't, you will quickly join the dead tanks on your team.
I had really great games in that position in the beginning. But I also had very short games because of yoloing enemies and lack of fire support. Generally speaking, Quickybaby´s gameplay only works in high tier games above 7 or 8 with more experienced players. Experienced enemies know, that they will get punished by your friends if they yolo you and your friends know where to get in position to support you. But in lower tier games the other players have no idea what you are doing there and are simply too dumb to make use of your spots.
i agree with the last comments of his on this vid...i only started getting a grip on situational awareness after 400 games on my indien panzer.now i am gonna hone my skills with the cromwell while i grind the LEO1 and the T62a. GG
I would say I really start learning the game around tier 7 and 8. You come in contact with better players, but with a better range of games. Plus its a little more affordable and your team doesn't always rely on you to perform well. But, if you preform well, you can help your team quite a bit. Nothing is more frustrating than getting into a tier 10 game and watching the tier 10 tanks donk out quickly.
I just got the M48 and even though it's not the best T10 medium I have still managed to average 3k+ damage. I think that it's the tank that I find the most fun and the tank I learn the most from.
Tier 8 is a good way to learn in my opinion. Cuz u constantly meet nasty tierXs to learn how to deal with them and survive. Also, having top exp with tier8 tanks in tierX matchups makes me feel so dang gooood.
Quickybaby, about what you said about the Object 263, you may already know it but it probably is the rarest non-premium tank in the game. I don't know why but it really is...
I've been doing well in tier 8-9, most comfortable in tier 8. Dropped as soon as I reached tier 10. Only manage around 55% WR in tier 10s. I mainly play meds right now.
In my case tier 10 tanks have become trophies of finishing a long grind and I rarely take them out in random battles only cw. I might have to start playing them more often. I went on playing next tree/nation etc.
i have got a big game in my löwe in a defence position on sandriver western flank from the south. massiv amounts of enemys (max t9) me and my winggirl hold them back in arty safe hulldown position, get 8000 potantial damage and survived.
i find that for me the way to get better is to simply play more. if i don't play for a few months i get like realy bad, but if i play every evening for a month or so i am back where i used to be and go up from there.
I think that the tier does not really imply the learning rate (ofc. I mean T5+). What matters is your desire to learn more about the game mechanics and strategies. There are people in T10 who can still be unaware of things which I now since my T4, thanks to QB, Jingles, etc.. Thanks QB :-)
I can't tell if the changes encourage or discourage camping. In Zeven's later video (Leo 1, Standard) the scout gets punished for going out too early, even though he spots decent dmg. On the other hand everyone has no idea where to go, so they camp. Either way the shorter fire lanes seem disappointing as a German-focus driver. Solo, it would seem DPM tanks are king of the NE (fine, of the hill) now, with survivable trading from brawlers and then gun depression tanks following them. Maybe I'm biased against the Comet line!
To add to your explanation of this awesome game, I must say that there was a metric butt-ton of luck in this game. Your team was somewhat ok, the enemy team was full of crayfishes (donkeys), you were the only tier 10. In a nutshell, you really did something good that day, to earn this match up.
If i'm not on top by xp in ~60%+ of the games in a tank then i feel bad. That's why i mostly stick to OP tier 9s, tier 8s and some below that grinds. I know, i'm a wuss and i should probably play more at max tier, but the credit sink and the fact i'm not mostly on top just discourages me... I don't have a premium account and i've only got two tier 10s and two tier 9s. I'll try to take your advice, QB, and play more at tier 10 when i get more of them.
Waterline rush is OP in any tank that can do at least 25 kph on Encounter - I played every single KV-4 game I got on this map encounter like that from both spawns and it is simpy insane. 1 - you spot all the campers in obvious ridge locations from both spawn 2 - free dmg on slope HTs climbing like snails if you spawn from east 3 - free dmg on TDs camping in two little forest if you spawn north... Good thing this is getting reworked, scout KV-4 means something is very wrong with the map, lol.
The one thing I would say about the "then just play tier 10" advice, is that while you will tend to have the challenge of higher calibre opponents, do you not also lose the challenge of ever being anything other than top tier? Obviously you cannot be bottom tier when in a tier 10 machine. Does this mean that the "hardest" tier to play is therefore tier 8? I don't know. Anyone have any thoughts?
Player skill wise, there is no doubt that the game represents more of a challenge in the tier 8-10 band than in the tier 6-10 band. I can see where you come from in terms of tier 8 machines being outmatched by tier 10 machines, but I would argue this represents (mostly) a case where you are more dependent on your team and not necessarily a challenge to your ability to carry.
iam a game adicct since starcraft broodwar and counter strike 1.6 ,and once you start to play competitive in one game ,you kinda start to gather up alot of information really quickly in new games over youtube and game wiki's.i started to really get a feel for the game with the t49 and the hellcat ,because they are really strong ,if played right ,but get punished heavily for mistakes because of the low hitpoints and non existing hull armor.i think thats a good place for everybody to start =)
About what you were saying a with tier 10 being when you learn the most. I'm a pretty average player with 53 % winrate, but i'm bad at tier 10. I got 4 tier 10s, and non of them has more than 49% winrate. Playing them made me realise that I had to step back a bit, and now that I play more tier 8, and then that I play more tier 9, I feel like improving. Maybe, getting back seriously to tier 10 is for soon :)
When playing on this map I always go to the west (exception when playing heavies and TDs), I can then get behind the enemy lines, kill their arty and get good shots on the back of the hill goers. I usually have good games, even in tier 7 lights doing at least 1500-2000 dmg. And I have got 1880 exp in my wz131 before, getting only 8000 spotting dmg but doing 3600 dmg (don't have the replay any more)
I totally agree with you QB. The mediums are the best tank to learn more and more about WOT. Because you have less armor than a heavy tank, you have to learn good positions on the maps. And once you know how to move in a map without taking lots of damages, imagine how good you are with an heavily armor. I played lots of medium tanks and i adore this play style but niw i'm way better to drive heavy tanks.
Wow Quickybaby I have been spending about half my play time watching your videos and then trying out the tactics I'm only about 3.3k battles and I am really trying to be competitive. Its funny some days I feel like "yea this is working then days I am the king of the power donkey's!" Really appropriate your videos and tutorials. Hopefully I can move out of the "sea of red" and get my rating to something decent.
I enjoy this tank, just got it a few days ago, but am finding it very difficult to do good in it... I have had great games in the T-54 but can't seem to match the same game play with the Obj. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, its frustratiting but I'm definately not giving up on this thing..
I mostly play my Marder II (coming up on 1500 games in it). That's just how I have always approached MMO's I quickly find one thing that I like the most. And, do the hell out of that. When I do something new... it's not really new either. Like my other tank right now is a dicker max...which pretty much feels like my Marder II scaled up. I may get the new Marder soon though.
I should have said I *will* be getting it. I have about 1.5k xp to go before I can research the last module on it. I intend to start the tank as elite with a 100% major qualification crew. Beyond it's raw specs though what impresses me is the tiny package it comes in. That will allow me to take advantage of cover I could not have in the Marder II. And, be overall harder to actually land a shot on.
Around 1500 basic XP!?!? XP was seriously nerfed. Back in the old days, i used to get that much XP in tier IV games and i'm newhere near the Quickies playing level.
Having grind out my own tier 10 medium tanks (t-62a and obj 140). I have to say Quickybaby was TOTALLY right. You need to play higher tier tanks to better yourself to a reasonable degree, and be able to carry games like QB did. And having played both t-62a and obj 140, i have to say obj 140's overall a better tank, but only slighty. Its higher speed and extra degree of gun depression gives it more flexibility. But I have noticed t-62a's gun handles better, at least while stationary, which make long range (300m+) shots more reliable. And of course, the turret armor (no weak spot at all). contrary to common believe, obj 140's turret's not weak. the mojority part of the turret actually sloped better than t-62a, except of course the cupolas and the egg shell top. But they r tiny targets compare to m48 patton, stb-1 and fv4202.
Today I played with you in a random match, that kinda awfull game where you was in FV4202 (You did an excellent job as usual, I watched the recorded stream lately). I feel so bad that I had stock gun on T28(I don't like that slow tank at all, the armor is so unreliable) and didn't help you more. But still, I was hoping for playing with you in a random for ages, since I watched your 1st vid and now my life is complete :D, and I didn't do much at all, I feel ashamed.
Keep it going - there is no limit, just make sure you have fun too.

I agree, I found that once I reached tier 10 that I started to get better faster than I did before tier 10
Thanks for your advices at the end. Gonna keep them in mind!
Hey Quicky, is Sixth Sense OP? Should it be nerfed? Perhaps with a small delay or something? I find that you and many others rely heavily on Sixth Sense in your play style.
Procrastinator7 Sixth sense takes 3 seconds after you get spotted for the lightbulb to pop up thus alerting you to being spotted
The Behind Feline Ah, I didn't know that. That's good I think.
GJ!
QB, Thanks for that little talk in the end. I have been wondering where to learn stuff lately. I will give your tips a try.
great advice Quickybaby I feel my game has improved 5 fold since playing T10 mediums struggled at first but keep at it and learnt how to play world of tanks. all my states are now on the increase... love the mediums. keep up the great work on the videos... looking forward to 9.0
It has to be said this was godly matchmaking but it takes the mighty Unicum QuickyBaby who is able to exploit this to the max. Well done again!
The funny thing is, being the only tier 10 isnt enough, 80% of the enemy team were tomatoes who didnt even carry repair kit :/
Love the new camera quickybaby, makes the videos more personal :)
cheers
Well you're going to have a lot of tier 10's when you do get them up there.
That is a really good thing! Taking ages to get to t10 means you learn each tier's meta. Rushing to a t10 on the otherhand rarely works out.
I remember watching your videos since 30k subs, nice job on 100k man :D
for me, it was just as you said. in the beginning i just played TD's. then, about half a year ago, i tried the british medium tanks. my playstyle quickly changed a lot and i liked how it felt to be a dominant, game winning player. right now i am not a bad player, but i feel like i could improve more, although it looks like i am at a stale at the moment. i hope that i will figure it out to become a unicum one day (my tanks name is the same as here, if anybody doubts my performance :D )
Awesome game! I like the term you use "calculated aggression", because that's really my playstyle. Although I need to learn to calculate more ;-)
Great review once again QB.
With my T110E5, the reload is 8.25 seconds with a rammer, vents, and BIA...and 60/8.25=7.27 RPM...7.27*400=2909 average DPM...so I'd say its up there
I think we all learn at different points QB and I think that certain tanks teach you certain playstyles but not all that you really need to know.
Mr. Quickybaby,
I have around 15k battles currently, but when I was around 6-7k battles I felt I hit a plateau, where I could not get above a 1500 WN6.
Best game ive ever seen :) brilliant QB. Well done !
I personally do not like the tank much but hey, I would say that because I'm a TD player :)
For me, I find that playing the 2nd line or even 3rd line sniper TD so rewarding when you use your tank properly to back up your offensive line. However, I will say I do love the occasional run out in my Cromwell and my ELC. Two amazingly quick tanks that have such a massive difference in gameplay from my TDs.
Anyway, thanks again QB. I'll pop by your stream at some point tonight so hopefully I'll see you there.
Great video QB! Nice hype, I'm just on a full ham training streak after a long time. :D
I think Tier 10 was a shock to me at first, but now when I think of it, now I play Tier 10 regularly I am amazed at the lack of skill in lower tier matches (NA server). It was only through watching Jingles at first, and then QB, that I've managed to pull myself up from
12:58 Best motivation..Ty QB..
Thank you so much QB, have learned a lot about calculated aggression.
Thx for tips QB, looking foward to obj. 263.
Really great advice at the end of the video.
I play all tiers. It's important to do this.
Ty mate, i have T54, was in dillema about object or T62A, but after this video i am getting object 140, cheers.
Really well play, QB!
I think watching your own replays (esp. games you die and/or lose) and analyze it helps, too.
you are not wrong with your end piece, when i hit my tier 10s my win rates were all low-mid 40's (ZE100, IS7, IS4 then Batchat) where my normal win rate is around 52%, i stopped playing them, then came back once i had some more learning behind me and now all the win rates are steadily climbing and tier 10 is probably my best performing tier, patience patience patience
Okay guys I've got an idea! What do you guys think about 'The Race Too Tier X' huh isn't it a good idea? If GB made like this kind of series or what do you want to call if that could be awesome! What do you you think guys? QB if you read this please think about it! ;)
that would take a few thousand battles wouldn't it
Cameron Spicer that's the fun part!
Actually I have seen someone make it to tier 10 in 900 battles
MCMiniGames590 Premium, gold and free xp.
Another very well done video. Thanks for the hints and tips.
GG
Lol his face when he said "only damage taken was from my team"
7:01 , a random 50 120 sits like Poseidon himself in his ocean.
Quickybaby, about what you said about the Object 263, you may already know it but it probably is the rarest non-premium tank in the game. I don't know why but it really is...
Nothing like that feeling when you finish a game like that and think damn I just kicked some ass!
OP tank + OP matchmaking + OP player = Epic
I've been doing well in tier 8-9, most comfortable in tier 8. Dropped as soon as I reached tier 10. Only manage around 55% WR in tier 10s. I mainly play meds right now.
Well, QB. I love both T-62A for its gun and turret and 140 for its top speed and slightly better gun depression!
Nice game though!
Woo, only one TX :O !
I don't have a MM like this since that i played the T30 heavy Tier X :). I hope you enjoyed this game :).
great tips that you bring quicky ! excellent match, outstanding performance with a medium. Thanks for share!
Great match and video as always QuickyBabyTV
I do have a small question, will you stream War Thunder tanks soon or post a video about the changes?
Just unlocked and bought the 140 over the weekend. The DPM is insane compared to the T-54 before it.
Some good advice, thanks mate.
Nice work qb
Waterline rush is OP in any tank that can do at least 25 kph on Encounter - I played every single KV-4 game I got on this map encounter like that from both spawns and it is simpy insane.
1 - you spot all the campers in obvious ridge locations from both spawn
2 - free dmg on slope HTs climbing like snails if you spawn from east
3 - free dmg on TDs camping in two little forest if you spawn north...
That's a fair point, though carrying a game vs being reliant on your team is of course a difficult distinction to make. Fair point though. Thanks. :)
iam a game adicct since starcraft broodwar and counter strike 1.6 ,and once you start to play competitive in one game ,you kinda start to gather up alot of information really quickly in new games over youtube and game wiki's.i started to really get a feel for the game with the t49 and the hellcat ,because they are really strong ,if played right ,but get punished heavily for mistakes because of the low hitpoints and non existing hull armor.i think thats a good place for everybody to start =)
Well played, QB :)
Fantastic gameplay! Btw, Quickybaby what headset are you using? Would you recommend it? (I'm considering replacing mine)
i have T-54 now i can't wait to get this awesome OBject 140 :D
Smart play QB :)
Can you show a nice replay in the M48 patton
Watch jingle's 8.9 review (I think) the differences between the 140 and the t-62 are incredibly minor they are basically the same tank
Last week i saw one of this beast bouncing a deathstar in a 20m range face to face :)
thx QB.
awsome game and explanation. enjoyed watching it :)
New marder has an amazing gun, good view range, great gun traverse, and it's damn fast. I highly recommend it.
And, be overall harder to actually land a shot on.
i love the obj 140
Cool, I own the t62a but will go the way from t54 to the 140 too :-)
Well I am not T10 yet but I feel that at around T6/7 I started to understand the game a lot more.
Jingles better be listening to the final speech hahahah
Around 1500 basic XP!?!?
XP was seriously nerfed. Back in the old days, i used to get that much XP in tier IV games and i'm newhere near the Quickies playing level.
Ehh dunno, What I do know is that anything above 1500 is damn good, 1600+ is huge.
in tier X you can only fight equal tier tanks or lower, so you get a relatively lower xp bonus..
Alan Donegan Meh its good but not "damn good"
Sick game doode nice gg
dat bush camo rating
that tank is op really op
while watching this i witnessed an ally Ke-ho get a kolobanov medal.
Not XP wise, but IMO best game i got for the obj 140 was 10k spotting damage on that map. Was a very easy/fast game lol
Which ones so you prefer, quickly baby? The object 140 or the object 430
Ooh I just noticed the Camera is not inverted
