Makes me miss my 2009 JCW. That thing was a blast to drive.
I really wished I could have made a review on that JCW I drove. That was such a cool car. And the supercharge whine from that generation was intoxicating.
The mini coopers are just so lightweight and quick. It’s incredible. Bmw is doing a great job with mini. Also loving the comedy in this one hahaha

So, I commented on the GTI video saying that the drive is my best friend. The mini's owner is also one of my best friends. The car is intoxicating to drive. The pops are deep and loud. I love driving and revving his car.
I got to review this Mini because of Nick! It truly is awesome how tight knit the DFW car community is. I have been able to review a lot of cars because of referrals and / or tags.
This is one of my dream cars.
Lots of fun to be hand with one of these!
It sounds so good stock - why ruin it with a tinny exhaust?

Great review dude. I have two questions for you:
1. Would you buy one out of maintenance plan?
2. Would you consider the standard S model or do you think John Cooper works is the only way to go?

1. If you can spring for the "Doug DeMuro" package I definitely would. Peace of mind is a great thing. But read the fine print, not all warranties are bumper to bumper.
2. Absolutely, the JCW is not a must at all. And you can get to the JCW power level quite easily with bolt-ons if you so desire.
Did you know there is a rooftop meet across the street from the cars and coffee?

You get to enjoy that supercharger whine then! Before I did youtube I had a go in a 2003 cooper s works. That thing was a RIOT!

I honestly don’t even listen to the radio while driving. The supercharger whine is a beautiful sound on its own. I’m thinking about installing a 17% reduced pulley on it.

I'm actually torn between this and a 2014 BMW M235i Xdrive. Mini has so much character and BMW has the power.... help!
AWD > FWD. You do get to pay BMW repair prices if you opt for the beemer though.
Fun cars my wife wanted one but I wanted the S lol. Well years later I got my GTI and she got a Jetta. I think I won 🤣
Did she get the GLI or a vanilla Jetta? If it’s a vanilla Jetta with the 5 cylinder you need to put an exhaust on that stat. They sound great!

Minis_in_action M.I.A bro the RS3 is my absolute dream car. If you live in the DFW area id absolutely love to do a video or even a review on it. I currently own a Passat with the NA I5 2.5 engine, and I’ve made it sound incredible. The RS3 is my next step for sure!
