Fuck I'm only turning 25 and I already feel my college and high school memories fading fast. This song is gonna kill me when I'm hitting 30.
Turned to 26 and yup, all my friends have gone their seperate ways, the college memories I made have faded quite a bit, high school is completely forgotten, and older family is passing. Listening to this song has changed a lot from then and now. Hits like a truck now.
It happens to all of us, but that just means you need to be careful to always be making new experiences, your relationships, and have the days count for as much as you can. It's fucking hard to remember to do that.

It's the best pop punk record ever in my opinion. And unfortunately its messaging grows more relevant everyday.

Such a great beginning to a masterpiece of an album
Absolutely heart wrenching
saying that this song hits close to home is the understatement of the century
I was bigtime into punk music back in the '80s because of my petty teen angst or whatever. Now, as a middle-ager, this album hits harder and the lyrics ring truer than anything from back then.
