I got to see these guys, Pup, and Modern Baseball all in one night... best night ever.
I'm seeing these with PUP and the wonder years next week and I'm so excited
That's insane!
That's an amazing line-up!
Modern baseball. Fucking yeewwwwww
Wow. Okay. Literally every band mentioned in this comment chain are my favorites of all time. Just add Fireworks in there and you got the full set.
Whom I believe was on that same tour with MoBo and TWY. So technically full set.
"this couch is not as long as i remember"
a reference to their last album, "this couch is long and full of friendship." i guess they don't have as many friends as they thought they did. :(
I fucking love that line, although it was two albums ago ;) but if got ya. a fucking masterpiece is my description to the this band. got to hang with them at the beat kitchen in chicago... one of the coolest days of my life, drinking PBR with my favorite band.. pfft. they are the coolest dudes, so humble. and play with a sound better live than on record, which is the first band if personally ever have heard do that
i actually thought this couch came out before pleasant living im not sure why i thought that :p
You thought it because it's true
I almost thought it was referencing going back to your parents' house after a tough time and realizing damn....this couch used to be bigger when I was feeling down
These guys seem to have so much fun every time I see them and that makes me so goddamn happy.
+Max G They really are the happiest dudes ever. I have never saw anyone come out on a stage and just look so absolutely euphoric as these guys. Smiles ten miles wide.
For real!!!! they always seem so in love with life, and it's SO contagious. I saw them play about a week ago, if only I had a dollar for every time the singer said something along the lines of "I'm having so much fun" hahaha
Max G Honestly Dylan always looks like he's having so much fun, on stage or wherever you see him. I actually met him a few weeks back and he was the nicest dude.
There's really a lot of pain behind such happiness, man.
One of the coolest music videos I've ever seen
How does a three piece end up sounding way more interesting than most five piece bands?
Deep soul
I've always thought this too. I came to the conclusion that there's less people to interfere with someone's idea. Someone could have an amazing line, guitar riff, drum solo... But that's got to go through 5 people and could end up sounding not as good as the original. I could be wrong, just my opinion.
Because these guys are real musicians.
@@JustBlinkMe1 absolutely 100%. ive played in three four and five pieces and can confirm five people in a band is the worst. with a three piece its less people that have to be in lock which makes it way easier. but of course musicianship does play a factor
Passion
they have literally never made anything even remotely bad
I LOVE TINY MOVING PARTS SO MUCH.
"this couch is not as long as I remember " great throw back! can't wait for the new album
+Kill7Me2Plenty3 May 20th. It's going to be awesome!
+Cheesetron 2000 already pre-ordered
goddamn this is so good. the improvement in melody over the last release is amazing while still staying twinkly/mathy/technical
+Henry Maple Completely agree!
The guitar licks are so sweet like a freshly plucked peach.
I proposed at their live show 3 years ago to this song. Right after the 'will you hold me like a baby' it was movie epic.
Also love the reference! "This couch is not as long as I remember!"
+Craig Tally Explaine please
+Nick Herb Uhhh well they have an album called This Couch Is Long and Full of Friendship. They also sing it in Amateur Night.
Craig Tally Ah okay.
I don't listen to them usually.
Oh no problem! You should :D
+Craig Tally Oh shit, look who it is.
and if you listen to your left, you can hear the sound of emo becoming good again
Samuel Pearson Emo was always good. those popular "Emo" bands destroyed the name imo
This video makes me so happy every single time I watch it I swear to god
This band and Joyce Manor are the most consistent "emo" bands of the past few years. Neither band has released a single bad song.
Tiny Moving Parts are my new favourite band and it's largely due to this song and this video. I've watched it like 20 times in the past day and a half. I'm sad I didn't discover them way sooner. Everything about their music is utterly thrilling. They need to come to Australia as soon as possible
It took me 5 years to be able to listen to this song.
TMP is such a genuine band. I love you guys. Can't wait to see you for the first time... whenever possible.
Tiny Moving Parts is always refreshing! Another great video! This is a band that deserves to be brought to the masses!
This band will always hold a special place in my heart, and continues to amaze me every time they release something new. Words can't describe how excited I am for this new album!!!
There are no words on how good this is..
Dog bless this bands talent, energy and ability to create music that is simultaneously depressing yet uplifting.
#16: live forever...this part of the video makes me cry a lot...
I love that Billy did all the best stunts :D
Found this band in my discover weekly playlist on Spotify, and I must say I was hooked the instant I heard the guitar on "Always Focused". Their music just cuts to your core and that's something special.
Tiny Moving Parts never disappoints
After finishing this video I immediately went and watched all of my videos traveling the world. It brought me back. Thank you.
This song always puts me in a good mood.
Sooo much passion :)
god damn such a special band in a cruel and dark world
Awesome concept for a music video
Lets turn back the clock
And do this one more time
It’s so hard
Finding a purpose in my emptiness
‘Cause I am an icicle
You are the summer heat
A language
That I could barely speak
There is a headache in my head
A pulse in my brain
Nothing will ever change (or make sense)
There’s nothing at all
There’s nothing at all (nothing at all)
I prefer this
Weight on my chest
There’s nothing at all
There’s nothing at all
Such slim comfort buried in
Old pictures (this couch is not as long as I remember)
This couch is not as long as I remember
A different shape, out of place
A different pace
Such sudden news
That my body can’t shake
‘Cause my stomach won’t stomach the taste
Will you hold me like a baby?
And tell me the things I need to know
I never want to be alone
There is a headache in my head
A pulse in my brain
Nothing will ever change (or make sense)
There’s nothing at all
There’s nothing at all (nothing at all)
There’s nothing at all
There’s nothing at all
I prefer this weight on my chest
There’s nothing at all
There’s nothing at all (there’s nothing at all)
I prefer this laying on my chest
There’s nothing at all
My energy refill. These guys raises my heartbeat. Instant upper!
I think things are going the way they hoped. Amazing song and video. This video should have millions of hits.
Saw them open for MOBO this past December in philly, they're really growing on me.
This is my favorite song by tmp because there's so much meaning and I can relate... I just love this song so much...
Heard this song on the radio a couple of weeks back and so glad I did. Went through your last couple of albums and having the best time, big ups. :3
#16: LIVE FOREVER
I get so teary eyed at every new release..
This record is gonna be so amazing. Saw them in Milwaukee and they're incredible. Looking forward to watching them grow and keep making amazing music.
Had no idea these guys were a thing until I moved to Portland and accidentally saw them preform before modern baseball at analogue theater.... Dylan was super friendly and is the reason I decided to pick up guitar, I already played bass but all his technical work on the guitar is like... Musician goals.
This is the new Dad music and I love it lol
beer and friends, never saw that coming
Wonder Bread the 🍞 bread that makes you wonder. im a lazer kitten. 🐱
ive never seen their bass player emote one time until he jumped out of a plane ..... he smiled this dude emo af
I saw these guys in fargo back in 2010 for the first time. It's great to see how far they've come
This is the band that we need but do not deserve.
Really dig this band!
My favorite band i swear. Thank you guys
TMP about to EXPLODE with this new record
They have some of the most consistently entertaining & original videos of any goddamn band I know.
I don't know why but this song brings tears each time I listen to it
For some reason i feel goosebumps all over my body and want to cry
one of a kind band that everyone likes, definitely unique
LO MAS GRANDE
TMP blows my top, first heard them in Richmond last year and it was a spectacular performance.
Боже, ребята, я вас обожаю! Приеду в Америку только чтобы послушать вас. Не распадайтесь никогда, живите вечно
так ребята приезжали недавно в Британию, да и до этого по Европе катались
Saw them play as well as met Dylan at Spring Fling a few weeks ago. Nicest dude ever. They played one hell of a show. Also, that piercing is still a thing hahaha
saw these guys live last night, they put on one hell of a show to say the least. love them to death
Seriously the best band to see live. So many good vibes 💕
I just found this band. And their music is helping me go through some shit. Thank you.
you okay, bud?
a mix of a little new with the same great sound. Love this!
Holy shit the ending gave me chills
this is awesome!!! gr8 band gr8 music and very gr8ly made music video
ahhh this makes me so happppy. love tiny moving parts since day 1 (actually like a lil bit after 'this couch')
best hamm's commercial yet! but seriously, cant wait for the new album.
I think I just found my new favorite band.. I just bought their last album
can't believe how "big" these guys have gotten in just the past year.
great music video, want to see them play
Awesome they never disappoint.
Próxima semana en Culiacan!
best band of 2010's
This video is amazing, and full of happiness.
There touring with Real Friends now! Can't wait to see them this May
One of the coolest music videos ever
I have probably contributed 500 plays to this video. This song is too good.
can't wait to see them live again holy shittt June 2nd!!!
OH MY GOD ANOTHER AMAZING SONG AHHHHHHH
wonderful!! this is BAND!
Why doesn't this have more views?! Seriously best band and music video I've ever seen since Evanescence's Going Under!!! >.< And I'm not even the slightest exaggerating!
This is the best teaser track yet
oh my god, soooo awesome
The boys love their Hamm's!
I like this. 🎶
This MV makes me happy
THIS IS SO SICK. SEE YOU BOYS IN TORONTO
What when do they come to Toronto?
love it. So hyped for the album.
ANOTHER AMAZING SONG
2:07 got MAD american football feel to it! love it!
I saw them back in 2018 with the wonder years, remo drive, and tigers jaw
BEST BAND EVER, COME TO BRAZIL PLEASE
I really needed this. This really cheered me up.
2:52 I love flopping around as i run out of the water for my music video
Love you guys!
I was 17 when I first head this, still crying when watching today
sooo good guys!!
"will you hold me like a baby and tell me the things I need to know? I never wanna be alone." Relatable asf to anyone emotionally dependant, and strongly attached to a person. Hits home man, it hurts bad. This song and Common Cold are getting way too damn personal and hard to listen for me these days.
Edit: Spelling.
can't wait to see u guys in Austin
Is your name a reference to 1:51 in the video?
+Cheesetron 2000 I wish :pp
I can't wait to see them at México
This song alone was my gateway to discovering Midwest Emo
This is fucking amazing.
The production on this is making my body do weird things
And I'm okay with that.
You're so right, the production is flawless. Vince Ratti mixed this album, and he produced TWY's The Upsides. Man's a legend
