- Taking you through my journey of learning how to ride. Documenting, my experience.
This video is not intended to teach, but instead only document my experience and along the way humor a few and maybe motivate newbies like myself.
This is part 3 of the series. I will be uploading more as i get time.
Ride safe!
running a red light on a major intersection?? 💀👎🏼
just realized that! damnn that was my bad
Moto Ride Rider Motovlog it's all good. it could happen to the best of us. just be careful next time hehe 👍🏼
One thing I can say is when you’re riding a bike look out for other drivers and don’t care what others think. Ride comfortably don’t be scared if you think someone’s gonna honk at you. If you have to go slow bc that’s how you feel then go slow.
My friend, learn to countersteer before you have a crash.
watching a motorcycle run a red light makes me nervous!!
Jerry Dominguez This dude really shouldn't be riding a motorcycle or driving a car honestly.
dxcaprice88 for real
I did a retake like a dozen times! I can’t believe what I saw
What a fool
I would not have pulled over on the side of that rode like he did. He stopped in that right lane. There was no space on the side of that road.
You ran a red light and you got the “inside, outside, inside wrong” if you’re turning right, the closes to the right then that’s the inside and the far side is the outside buddy. You actually got a few things wrong that you need to fix before giving advice. Ride safe.
Hey man...I love the quality of your videos. Please keep posting your progress!
James Dio The Soul Piper much appreciated!
Is this guy still alive?
I can tell you're still a new rider. You seem a bit nervous here. Don't get nervous. Always remember that you own the bike. Don't ever let the bike own you.
Excuse me but a five-hundred lb'd metal dragon that drinks T Rex blood for breakfast and has flamable flatulence...is quite the experience. A beast like that needs conquering. You can slay the fear through having faith in one's ability to slice its head off with a sword or in other terms as they say 'Going head on at it' or "full speed ahead"
@@markusht then you have the wrong motorcycle
Im 14 thanks man my uncle is teaching me but this helps
After you ran the red light I was through with this video
I cannot believe this idiot just ran a red light... end of video for me!
I know I'm a little late to these videos but I just bought a motorcycle after never having rode one before and so far I've had the same experience as you had in your first video. It's kinda scary going straight from a bicycle to a motorcycle ( in my case a honda shadow 750)
6:00 looks like to me you just stopped in the middle of the road.
Nice vid man. Been riding for a year now, my issue is I get nervous on the highway turns at fast speeds i tend to slow down
I know it’s been a long time since you posted a video.. but I’m curious to see how you have improved and if you kept up with it. I’m a new rider and seeing someone go through the fears and anxieties of learning is inspiring. I know you made a few mistakes like people mentioned in the comments but I know you aren’t trying to teach or instruct viewers. It really does help seeing someone start from scratch. I’ve watched countless videos of people riding like pros and it educates but also makes me feel like shit for sucking haha. Thanks for having the courageous post an honest beginner video.
I just started today. Any tips to improve faster ? I'm learning on an old bike where down 1 isn't first gear and it's messing with my head. Im getting my actual bike next month and I'm scared that I might fall. Haven't fallen from the old shitter yet. I am having issues while starting from stop and turning. Idk what to do.
@@jiggy17 hey! It has been two years of riding and I had a lot of the fear and issues you just described. I do have some tips for you.
1. Find a motorcycle mentor. Someone that can help get you started, just make sure you don’t try and keep up with them, take your time and form good habits.
2. Get someone to help you safely get your bike to an empty parking lot or designated motorcycle practice area and get on there and practice.
3. Learn and practice from the best. Check out the Ride Like a Pro videos, and MCRider. They taught me so much and MCRider has a training app you can use (it was really helpful).
4. Make some cones for yourself. I took some tennis balls, cut them in half and they were cones that even if I hit with my bike I could just ride right over.
Don’t get to hung up on your shifting issue since your bike has first gear up instead of down, just be patient with yourself. Remember every bike has a different friction zone, stance and even different gear setups. Take a deep breath and you will do fine. Once you get that new bike you will have to learn it all again so don’t get upset.
The fear of dropping the bike or falling will go away I promise. Slow speed maneuvers are the hardest to learn and the place were you will feel most scared of falling. If you focus on that first your fear will melt away. Practice straight lines as much as possible and work up to going as slow as possible without putting a foot down. I can not recommend MCRider enough, please check him and Jerry Palladino out.
Lastly, you just have to swing a leg over and ride. The more you do it the more confident you will feel. Keep your head and eyes up and use both breaks.
Ride safe man!!
You should also work on learning Traffic lights!!!
That stop light. 1:00 Minutes in and I'm done with your video. Going to the next video O_O
If you look closely it was yellow and turned red as he was at the crosswalk. He should have stopped but yeah lol
Does anyone know what kind of bike this is? I’m new to all this and I’m looking for a first bike.
I really like your growth. You came along way. I'm a newbie so can you give advice on how you became comfortable riding
thanks, and great to hear that. Just ride as much as you can, i tried to avoid rush hours.
Moto Ride Rider Motovlog wye dont you poast no more
New subscriber! I’m a new rider and this video is very helpful, thanks for your videos🤟
Great video u took the time to learn to ride safer. Thumbs up
Mar Par no this guy is gonna die if he continues to ride like this
nice bike, clear quality vid
What should you do on a narrower road and a literally 90 degree corner?
Great video, would not cover the front brake though. Covering clutch is ok.
Nice bike dude, and better sound!!! Which one is it? Just a humble piece of advice, from a beginner's perspective like mine, be more clear in what you want to get a cross, just one point at a time. For example if you want to talk about counter steering do just a few videos on the topic. If you want to explain how to take a turn do some videos on just that topic. Because beginners like me do not understand these principles till we watch few videos on the topic. If you explain lots of different things in a 9 minute video you will loose focus and you will miss important things; you didn't go through the meaning of counter steering at all but you mentioned it. That got me confussed and I end up with sour feeling. But as you said on the video, do not care about what others say, take the positive things and keep practicing, that's the fun of it. See you around.
hey bro just getting into riding on a Cruiser and was wondering if you had any recommendations on helmets. Thanks for your time and keep vids comin
Tyler Hayes i have a harley modular and the bell bullit, i do prefer the look of the bullit though.. its loud but i wear noise cancelletation earphones
Speed and strength actually has good helmets for real cheap
Beautiful roads
Where did he go?
Cool man. That helped a lot. Question for you. Do you know the brand of yoir jacket? Nice jacket
You need an MSF course. They are offered in every state. Stay safe!
Turn your head your body goes with it
Naughty naughty boy blowin that red light...
That red light run a tire 1:01 was uncomfortable
o, sorry man, soo wrong, you are not getting the point of how a bike works. this video is not helping. try searching on keywords countersteering, no offence, but saying you turn the steer left if you want to go left, that doesn't work, it make you go right
move1212
Absolutely right. Plus you should never use your front brake in a turn, as it will literally pull your bike to the ground. Not that I saw that in the video, but I thought I should mention it.
He's a noob rider that's for sure, but he's right. You try to countersteer going 10mph, depending on your bike, you're going to go the opposite way instead.
Did you just run a red light?
So your saying turning and speed will come naturally the more I ride
Raising sound of your harley bike
It's not your weight that's turning the bike it's always the handlebars you can lean all you like the bike won't turn until you turn the bars. You need to sit down and watch twist of the wrist.
i was just wondering what bike are you riding pls?
2013 883 iron
What camera are you using? Great quality :)
thanks. gopro hero 4, 1080p 60fps
i just bought Session 4. how do you eliminate wind noise? i can clearly hear your bike on your video. but on mine, its only the wind noise lol
use the windscreen for the mic, helps a ton
my friend trait your ideas try to focus on the idea dont jump from thing to another i learnt nothing you just confused me and wasted 6 min
You really shouldn't learn from this guy anyway.
U still a live man?
Los colinas Irving TX
What kinda bike do you have
883 iron, gonna give it a little makeover.. just saving up for that now
what year is your Iron?
John Puddu its the 2013
can someone tell me what bike is he riding?????
883 iron
still riding it?
Okay was I the only one that noticed he Ran a Red Light at 1:00min. Hahahaha BadAss
come back to us
Makes a bike skip if u take a corner to tight
Do you still drive your bike?
Ran a red light
Las Colinas!!!!!!!!
Stop making videos and go take the MSF class.
English too
@@ulramlao5698 stfu you fucking hater
Never take a corner fast
The fact that he hasn't uploaded much of anything after this has me worried based on his lack of skill in this video.
hope u realize you ran a red light lol
yup! and thats my bad.. not the example i wanna set, so apologizes to all the viewers
Lmbo
You ran a red light.
Any one else notice he ran a red light 😂
“Not as skilled like me”...runs red😂
Running a red light while talking about being safe...........
Dude wtf
Bru he just ran a red light
Don’t give tips if you run through red lights. Jesus.
Appreciate the effort...but why not just sit at a desk and dictate??? Whats the point of these words of wisdom if you don't demonstrate?? Tell us how to do something then DEMONSTRATE. Wow...this so hard to anticipate. Again...thanks anyway.
Nice job running a red light during your safety speech.
damn ran a red light mannnnnn
Christ you're gonna crash if you follow all this newbie's fake advice about leaning the bike to turn at speed. This video is the blind leading the blind. Where the hell did he get to 'learn' to ride a bike? Turning at speed needs pushing the right handlebar for a right turn and left handlebar for a left turn .
Lol yet runs red light 🤣 😂
clickbait
You ride your clutch wayyyy too much man. And you should downshift when slowing down, don’t just hold the clutch in the entire time
Daniel Lucido what do you want him to do then? Most bikes can’t downshift all the way down when stopped! My bike won’t go into first if I stop at fourth gear
wtf
Is there a ‘block user’ function on RUclips? I don’t want to mistakingly come across anymore of your videos and absorb anymore of your terrible information, take the MSF course before you end up hurting yourself
Appreciate the content but you describe this horribly.
Turns and corners. Wtf.. There are NO corners....Ride the north island of New Zealand... yourve absolutely NO idea what corners are. Seriously.. NO idea.........sorry but this is a joke....
