- Taking you through my journey of learning how to ride. Documenting, my experience.
This video is not intended to teach, but instead only document my experience and along the way humor a few and maybe motivate newbies like myself.
This is part 2 of the series. I will be uploading more as i get time.
Ride safe!
Pretty much what everyone else is saying about a smaller bike and don’t be nervous HOWEVER, this video is good for anyone else having these issues so they know that they are not alone! Keep posting, wanna see the progress!!
Dude, you have to take the MSF, the Motorcycle Safety course. That will teach you the proper way to ride a motorcycle. You are doing everything wrong and it’s amazing you haven’t gotten into an accident or dropped the bike. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and take that course. The best thing about the course is it’s free and you learn so much.
I'm sorry, but you need some professional help or a lot more time on a smaller bike. There is no way you should ever be this nervous on a bike. You could seriously hurt yourself or someone around you. Get the controls down, get the handling down, then head out on the street when you are comfortable in your abilities. I never rode on the streets and only rode a dirt bike a couple of times, I jumped the gun and bought a Harley Davidson 1200 Nightster to go to work and back. The first day I got it, I was riding on the streets and found out what my and my bikes capabilities are. Been riding everyday since, heavy traffic, rain or whatever...Not saying that I'm all cool badass pro, but you need to be loose, flexible and straight forward with what you do, any kind of negative slop could cause you to hesitate and wreck. The way you were turning and afraid of turns, that's not good...You should enjoy the curvy roads, not be afraid of them. Your mentally is wrong and you are not ready to ride. Get some practice and relax and enjoy the ride, don't ever fear it. Hope to see you riding like a pro soon!
MrStalindrift123 how the hell does he get this bike to all these different places?
Delicia Bartee haha be safe
I wouldn't be surprised if the next vid was one of you on a circuit doing races and you got us all thinking you was a real beginner :))
haha maybe i should ummm :)
I thought you were suppose to release the clutch once in gear.
Very helpful. It's almost as if I was riding thanks for the upload.
glad my experience could help you
Nice videos bro
u totally gave me the motivation
subbed
and pls upload more
I know for a fact I'd be acting the same... I feel you dude. I really really wanna learn though and honestly this kinda helped me see where I should start with even just by reading the comments.
hey, i like your videos. Question, what type of bike are you riding?
Thanks!
This guy's has got some Cajones riding for the second time ever out on the street. Some people feel more comfortable in a big empty lot.
Awesome videos, hope your still riding.
You're doing what exactly shouldn't be done. Learn to ride first. Then you get a bike. Fear will get you killed. I'm glad I took the msf course.
You truly don't turn the bike handles in a turn you push left to go left and push right to go right ...also take your hand off the clutch unless your changing gears.
stop grinding the cluth you are going to strip the trans.
When you're making turns. Look to where you want to go. The bike will follow
Moto Ride Rider Motovlog, It looked like you were having difficulty going around curves because when you go into a curve your suppose to press on the handle the side your turning! So if your going left press left on the handle and if your going right press on the right handle bar. This will help your curving smoother. Hope this helps!
David LaManque its been a while since i have uploaded but yes pressing does help alot, thanks for the feedback
need to hit up a mall parking lot at night best place to learn man
I asked the same question why are the roads not straight. That made my day
....Thank u for the video it help me alot....
im glad, just know that im no professional.. just living the motorcycle dream and documenting my experience
Dude.. You got the best roads.. You should see here in India
BINNIS RAJ MB Roads are awesome after Modi Ji became PM
what type of motorcycle do you own?
a little more practice man, and some confidence, that is all you need. trust me, you got this. just keep a cook head, stay calm, and go. btw, nice video
Im guessing you live in the dallas area
You should have taken the MSF course...this looks very dangerous. You need more confidence if you want to ride in traffic
Dude, im australia, and going for my learners next wednesday and thursday here in victoria, i thought id watch your video, ..now im scared lol.................crapp lol
Jane Santo please tell me what’s next after u take the classes
How tall are you? I'm 5"6 do you think that bike will be alright for me?
i think you will do just fine! currently have 11.5" rear shocks on mine, even if i install 15" shocks i will still have room to increase the height
Hopefully you're not as nervous now but if you have the place to do it and can get a dirt bike start with that learn to ride shift and control the bike on it then move over to your street bike.
not nervous at all anymore, update coming soon
Moto Ride Rider Motovlog where's the update at?
Enrique Gonzalez I think he got rid of it because he was too scared of the bike.
how can you drive bike without driving school?
Gotta learn to release the clutch, you ride too nervous man.
exhaust?
Your gonna burn your clutch with how much you hold it down
yes, i have improved alot since then, now only when its needed. thanks for bringing it up though
Dude lean with the bike. You need to find an open area where you can run through all your gears.
More throttle
Dude you need to learn more first bc your constant worrying about turning and cars will get you killed. Your not leaning at all and your bogging down your engine.
