- Looking over the Iload build back in 2017, This van was entered in the van of the year in 2018, but sadly did not win,, so the question is how was judging? This video if doe people looking to set up a locksmith van and to give you some ideas as to how we do it and how you can do it, see if there is anything you like or might want to about in your van
I am a locksmith in the US and have to say that is an exceptional use of the space you have. Everything looks so great, especially all of the white which is so bright and clean looking. The only downside to your setup is you can't get into the back any other way then the rear door. For me being able to access the back of my van from the street side door and from inside the van is extremely important. I also live where it gets fairly cold in the winter (it's 13F degrees out at the moment).
LOVE YOUR WORK HORSE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
FROM MARK BRONX NY
That is a very well prepared van...I like very much..... congrats

😍 My dream!!!!
Hey Doc, super practical set up. Do you ever find yourself running low on inventory space?
Trying to determine if I can go for a mini van like that or a full size van!
Thanks for your vids
Hi, yes storage is a problem, Im happy with the size, a bigger van is good, but you wont be able to park next to the job if you have a high roof van, some parking lots are 1.95mm high,If you do car work, its work thinking about being able to drive in the parking lot, if not a bigger van maybe better
What if you need to get in the back in a place you cant open the rear door?
Hey mate , love your setup. Tbh its my dream setup
Just sold my old hiace and bought a Vito
Going to do the same exact setup in mine
Did you order everything from Caddy storage by any chance?
Luv the set-up and layout....Impressive!
Can U give a Link/details/name of the buffer for deburring keys?.....as it looks as tho it is something i may be able to add to my Locksmith Arsenal!.....thnx
Hi, its an RC Plane Starter Motor you can buy a cheap one from eBay, then just put the buffing wheel on the end, the RPM is a good match
This is amazing.. are the magnets strong enough to hold the tools up even when you’re driving over speed bumps etc ?
Yes
Where can I buy those slide out drawer ???? Nice setup hopefully soon my setup will be like that....
Caddy storage
Hi. Very good van. How do you inventories all locks, keys, transponder keys, remotes and all other stuff what is in your car?. How do you check if you have the right transponder key and remote in your car when you need to go to job site? Do you use any app for this?
Hi, we do a stock count a few times a year, when something is used its put back, keeping the stock the same, if its not put back its noted on a list, so that way we know what is in the van. Most of the time you know the chips and approx how many you have, and its quick to check when needed, no app
That is very badass mate great job what size inverter did you use
Xantrex PROsine 1800W / 12 volt inverter. its never let me down used it for the past 12 years and still working well
@@DrLockShop can you share the company that specialise for setting up those? Thanks,
Pinning kit drawer is a bad one to get stuck like that. I hope none of your pins got jumbled when you tried to close it
Have never saw a Vise quite like that before......any Namebrand/details on it?
Hi, this is the link www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/sca-sca-vice-bench-swivel-cast---150mm/562457.html

Hi would you be able to tell me where you got your floor mat from? If you have a link of a company name it looks amazing !! Also for the white desks you got where did you get it from and how did you make it work ???
Congratulations how much it cost please?
Thanks ... I cant say ,, It's alot
If he tells you how much it cost, he'll probably have problems with his wife 😀
Wish my company would give me a van like this. Im driving a Toyota hatchback because the ute I had was rear ended 6 months ago and written off
Most company vans I have seen are setup for basic work, your not alone , I drove a Hyundai hatch back for a wile, it gives you a bad back from leaning over, and its hard to carry stock, the back of the car is full of brass, not much fun
@@DrLockShop and we just got a new alarm tech in and they got him a new car and I've been driving the hatchback for six months
Personally, I think the number 1 feature is the purloined milk crate with a cushion.
how do you power all of that ?
With a 300Ah deep cycle battery and a dual battery charger from the car,, and a top up once a month from a 240V home charger

Custom custom
You have everything but the kitchen sink.
I have the water tank and soap,, but no sink
i like how you did all that but as a locksmith i dont understand why u do all that work, just to copy keys in the car
I take pride in what I do
