@@wendysunshine0517 Hi Wendy not saying you should leave but you don’t realise that how bad the toxic workplace was until you leave.I am now feeling so much better emotionally and physically.Sending lots of love to you .😍
Leaving a toxic boss (and job) was one of the BEST things I did for my wellness and spirit! And I went on to two great workplaces. Listen to your instincts, because the toxic boss may view you as nothing more than a convenient commodity to be used up! Even though it's challenging, there are good workplaces that will foster your wellbeing and productivity. 😊
I left a job 3 1/2 years ago because it was toxic. Before I left the job, I got another job first to prevent any economic struggles. I agree when the opportunity arises you should take it and run. Don't look back.
I quit a job after 17 years because they cut my hours by half to make room for the bosses daughter. But I knew I could qualify for unemployment and decided it wasn’t worth it to go downtown for half pay. Anyway I was later able to get a job at an excellent employer where I knew a few ppl. When they sold their properties I reluctantly decided to commute every week and it was the best boss and co I’d ever worked for! Consider moving to another city if jobs are a lot better.
Great advice, James. Yes, talk to boss in person first, quit professionally, thank mentors, don’t leave any messes, enjoy your new job and be ready for that awkward transition.
Im scared that leaving one toxic place might land me in another without the benefit of knowing the place and having to start all over again relearning the ins and outs
Hey James - I'm liking the My Take on Life approach. I love your analysis and insight on these things.
I left a job after 18 years because of a toxic work place and never looked back and should of done years ago
Good for you! 🤗
I'm in the same situation now. 18 years and still scared to leave.

The only problem I've never had. If a boss isn't loyal to employees, I'm not being loyal to the job.

James.. I like this format. Folks need your advice. Much more interesting to me than the Kody Brown fiasco. ❤
Great advice!
Yeah. I don’t see the dilemma.
