Apparently chasing Dayton to Flagstaff was more important than the needs of the other children. Gabe was in the middle of sports, had a gf, and was popular and doing well in school. But Krudy didn’t care bc Sobyn Robbem had to be a helicopter mom to Dayton. 🙄😤😡 It’s all so gross.
That was vile of Kody to refuse to care for his own kids while Christine worked. I will never understand why Christine never felt free to ask Meri or Janelle to do it, either. Meri had ONE kid. She couldn't check on Christine's kids, either?
And like, from what I remember, they said that one of the three breastfed one of the other’s kids? I don’t see how they would have a problem making sure the kids get into bed and get them tucked in
Good point. The whole situation is weird in that family with the lack of child care that they claim is a perk of polygamy to have sisterwives to help with the kids.
It is so disgusting. Aspen and Logan have no children because they already raised kids probably! Kody is out there traveling and playing house. Christine is home working and taking care of all the kids! I mean where was Meri? Janelle? It is just so wrong. Noone to help little Aspyn! 🤬
It would have been so easy for any of the sister wives or Kody to take turn helping with the kids at night while Christine worked. I do have to wonder if Kody wasn't supporting Christine working cause he was trying to keep Christine down. He told Chridtine to save her grocery money to afford going to visit her sick dad. Kody has always been meaner to Christine and Meri than Janelle. But Janelle kept peacing out and coming back. That was a lot of upheaval and turmoil for the kids IMHO. Changing schools etc. No wonder Janelles kids really dug in their heels when they moved to Vegas and then Flagstaff. They moved everytime Janelle left the family too. Even with all the money they had from the show the women were still trapped because of poverty. I can only imagine how hard it is for normal polygamy women to leave their marriages.
In the past couple of years. Christine said that she talked to Janelle about leaving. Janelle told her to make sure she was economically set before she leaves. That's why Christine took Kody's name of the house and a few other things to set herself up. Janelle gave the best advice, but she was not using it for herself. She was seeing Kody & Robyn buying things, but she didn't take care of herself. She thought that K & R would just hand over her deposit amount.
If Janelle is so practical and smart, she wouldn’t be in this situation. I really like her sweet nature and I think she’s a good person, but I think she’s given too much credit for being financially savvy. She as fine with scraps, okay, but she had no right to settle on behalf of her kids. She might not fight for herself, I’m like that, BUT I’m a bulldog when it comes to my kids
Look, none of these people are particularly admirable. Janelle admitted repeatedly, when thinks were better Roth the family , that she liked sister wives because she could leave her children for Christine to look after and pursue her professional goals. Janelle never seemed particularly maternal, she had her oldest son doing more for the children than she did, that wasn’t his job and was an abuse, in my opinion. Christine always wanted to be the shiny last wife. She didn’t care how the other wives were treated, as mentioned here, she wanted to be the fun wife, that is a remarkably immature take on adult relationships. Janelle also planned to marry Kody on Meri’s birthday, that is unnecessary cruel. Meri had anger issues and took those out on those around her. Kody and Robin are pieces of work separately and together. It’s the children I feel sorry for, not one of these 5 adults ever put their children’s needs ahead of their own growing up. It’s a bit too late now to say think if the children, their formative years were horrific. I do not and will not accept a large family as a justification for parentification of a child. My great grandmother had 7 children, she and my great grandfather were the parents, they did not make any of their children substitute parents. Likely as a result, their children remained close into adulthood.
@@Catmom-gl5nt I agree with all you said about these wives. They all have specific character traits that weren't that great, but they all seem to be good women and I think I could be good friends with any of them. @@Catmom-gl5ntHave a lot of kids as parents, it's your job to raise them not the older siblings. Raising younger siblings is inflicted on older kids. And that is not an authentic parenting. That is a survival status. These kids suffered food insecurity. That is abuse of having more kids then you can FEED. A basic need for children. Did Kody ever go hungry? He has a gut.
Oh, no no no. There is no way Kody was going to let Christine keep the proceeds from her house, if she did not pony up with something valuable, in exchange, TO HIM.
Janelle is a push over and waits forever to form her thoughts. How come Kody has so much financial control and why doesn't she want to call it a 'divorce'? She want(ed) to keep the door open even just a little bit.
I think Christine didn't mean any harm. She was having a conversation with her friend giving her advice. Janelle is not telling Christine everything, so she is just advising her on what she knows.
I had the same thought while watching. I understand Christine, but didn’t like the pressure she was putting on Janelle without knowing what was going on. Love you James!❤
I wonder if Janelle is waiting for christine's child support case to be over before she sue's kody over coyote pass/financial compensation. In christine's case there would have to be a financial audit done on kody which would then make things easier for Janelle to follow up with her case. Christine and Janelle could be working together.
Because Janelle originally came from a non-polygamous background and Christine grew up in polygamy, I think Janelle realized more that she wasn’t “legally…technically married. Janelle just saw the break up totally differently. Janelle also still believes in their faith, whereas Christine doesn’t. There’s just so many factors that made them want to handle their situations differently.
Before Christine left she talked to Janelle. Janelle advised her to secure her own assets. I think Christine is just trying to do the same for her friend. 4:35
You are right, James. Christine had certain advantages that Janelle is lacking. Financially speaking, Janelle is connected to Kody at least until she gets land or a settlement.
Their show has been a hard, but necessary lesson for many, to NEVER let yourself become dependent on someone who has no legal obligation to support or cover you. Regardless of how one feels about polygamy, the laws of America don't allow for it. They were side pieces with religious context, but the law offers no protection for those arrangements. He should have to pay support for every child he produced, but a lawyer has to sort the rest out.
Unfortunately, pretend marriage with lots of kids puts the women & kids at a disadvantage plus they are compelled to do whatever their non-husband comes up with. Kody is no leader & abused them financially & psychologically. It's one big mess.
I don’t think Christine meant anything bad by it. She loves Janelle and wants the best for her. With that being said she needs to understand that her split from Kody is going to look different than yours because you are not the same people.
She was trying to be a good friend! She was not trying to be mean! Christine did not understand how attached Janelle was still to kody and her religion and unrest with the land! I agree with Christine though! Janelle is just being a pushover again with Kody. She admitted not so long ago in tv land that she missed Kody in her bed. 🤢🤢🤮🤮
It sounded to me like Christine was ordering her to do it. It’s like she wasn’t giving her any leeway and that’s the thing with me Janelle mad and says same or you know you might think about doing this or maybe you should do this Christine was like you need to do it now kind of thing in my opinion.
@@beverlynewer4681because Christine knows Janelle! She has left Kody several other times and comes back. Tough love! No need to make it fuzzy. Christine is a true friend and did not want to see her go back again!
@@dbprice100That is Christine pushing the narrative per usual. She is happily married & why hang on to this show. Christine is still making money off of Kody polygamy. Why keep this toxic guy in your life in any way unless it is to sue him for no financial accountability.
Of all the women, Janelle has been subjected to the most abuse, and keeps returning for more. She left years before the show started, and came back. She owned a home, had an inheritance, and wasnt that used to buy the Lehi house? Janelle has been the one giving Kody all her money and receiving nothing in return. Christine can see this now, and is trying to make her stop giving Kody money.. Janelle is now trapped by "sunk cost." The longer she stays the more money Kody is going to take from her
This isn't the first time Christine has gotten to opinionated about how Janelle should handle Kody. Janelle's first concern is settling the land issue.
I think Kody is toxic...and I'm glad he found Robin because she's just as toxic. I think Christin is just trying to push Janelle to wash her hands of the whole thing and be done with it.
If I was Janelle I would had bought Christine's house, get it in my name and turn around and sell it. Christine should had transferred the land into Janelles name
James broke these dynamics down like fractions. There was an old gospel song that said, "Sweep around your own front door, before you try to sweep around mine." While Christine is a fan favorite, she needs to self-reflect.
Well, Gabe was not in high school when they went to Flagstaff. He did a quick graduation thing so he didn’t have to adjust to another school and he could just go to college when he got to Flagstaff.
She is not their father. Christine asked their father to be responsible for it and he flat-out said no. That would be the day any love I had for this moron would be dead.
It sounded to me like Christine realized it was a different situation when she did her confessional. I think she just wants her friend away from that toxic situation and after talking to her realized Jenelle has it different than her did.
Friendship works both ways. Janelle isn't behind the door....she could have and SHOULD have been honest with Christine and told her that their situations were different instead of saying nothing but then going behind her back and saying what she thought of Christine in that convo. All Christine was trying to do was be a good friend to Janelle and support her the best way she could. Yes, of course she probably didn't address it the right way but she was trying to do her best in advising Janelle which is exactly what true friendship is. I could see Christine's frustration because Janelle was flip flopping all over the place. She wanted to leave Kody one minute, whilst STILL wanting polygamy. I really don't see Janelle as being the smart one tbh
Christine in my opinion was biding her time since shortly after Robyn came into the picture, she wasn’t happy she said she always wanted to be the third wife and thinking that she was the last wife. It was just by Robyn’s lousy credit that Kody had to take his name off her house/ mortgage in order to be on Robyn’s. It was just dumb luck, she realized it and got while the getting was good. Greedy Kody was glad to jump on the land she dangled in front of him. Because she didn’t contribute financially for many years, she felt she was getting off with the proceeds of selling the house. Well played Christine.
Christine quickly split with the house money and gave up CP. Janelle may have to tread a little more lighly with her breakup due to having her money still tied in with Kody. You had a good point there where he could easily get pizzed off and make Janelles exit longer than necessary. She cant make a big exit like Christine. It may just have to be slowly and precise in order for her to be more financially stable. Also Christine knew she was going to look for another partner while Janelle has chosen to stay single. That is also going to play into how Janelle decides to cut final ties.
Christine is trying to control Janelle and dictate to her how she should handle the ending of her relationship. She should just worry about her own life,
Ok, I understand what you’re saying and you have valid points. However, no one talks about how Janelle left Kody in the past a few times before. And what happened each time? She went back. Yes, they all might be adults and if Janelle wants to again she’s free to reconcile with the douche canoe again. I wouldn’t be happy if she decided to do that and I’m sure Christine wouldn’t either. As such, I’m not sure Christine is wrong in asking or pushing her. I know Janelle needs to play ball with Kody due to finances but until Janelle flat out tells Kody we’re done and it’s over, I’m not confident that she wouldn’t go back to the jackass.
Because Christine knew Kody would fight her for the house. Verbally. and she knew it would only be uglier then it was if she signed that house to Janelle instead of "her baby daddy"
I honestly don't think Janelle would be moving any faster if the property wasn't an issue. I think she just really doesn't care about title or status. I think she's genuinely happy and, at this point, is only concerned with getting hers. I think Christine means well, but her approach has too much bark and bite. I think Janelle handles Kody easier and better than Christine. We don't need to worry about her.
A woman who talks like Janelle is a woman still holding out hope. At first i thought Christine was being a little too much, but after a little thinking, I dont blame her. They are not friends. They behave more like sisters. At least thats my interpretation. I have sisters. If i knew my sister had a pattern of leaving her no good husband and going back to him, i would give the same level of smoke Christine gave Janelle. It didnt look like Maddie was confident in her mom purchasing land away from Kody either. Janelle believes she has this special bond with Kody, and no one else understands.
Kody is bonded to Robyn. Janelle has been financially abused by Kody. They no longer have anything special together except Kody wants her funding. Janelle need to only be invested in herself & getting paid for the house & land she put her money. Kody can say he will not keep Janelle informed re the property. Janelle has her name on the property unless Kody is pretending & none of the wives name are on the property. Which is it. Did Meri & Janelle just funnel money to Kody for the property & all the land is in his name? Because if they did that its on them. Neither Meri or Janelle have their name on the deed of the mansion which should never have happened. Now Robyn has called the mansion a Brown family asset. What is the truth?
Janelle should get legal involved to sort out her portion of the land and the house. Kody believes it all belongs to him and Robyn. Kody will never do the right thing. The only way to deal with Kody is to get the law involved and forensic accountants!! Kody will just hide and do any underhanded thing he can to weasel out of paying for his kids. Christine 100% made all the right moves and Janelle should take heed. Janelle seems to happy, like she's not taking it seriously.
Truly almost died while in Kody's care. Dayton had a serious accident while under Kody's supervision. If Garrison had a a relationship with Kody he might still be alive. How many more children do these women want to lose because of this jerk?
It seems Christine is just checking on her sister. We have seen Janell avoid vulnerable situations. The fact Kody thinks he can approach their separation as he has shows his state of mind(he crazy). Christine was trying to keep the momentum going and make sure Janell leaves for real this time. Also I thought Janell did not want Christine's house? She wanted to be approved for a building loan to build her own home. Or something like that. So maybe Christine did offer her dibs and it was turned down. Christine is trying to show up where she can. It can he hard to get info from a gaurded friend. But once she understood Janell's position she adjusted her approch to better support her friend. Thanks for sharing!
With Christine, she picked to leave when her mom left. That’s why she left so strong and knew that it was OK within her. It’s not that she had great self assurance or something. It’s that other people and her family had left at that age.
I agree with a lot of what you said. I do think Christine got pushy for a minute but I think she gets it in the end. I do think she cares about Janelle being in this toxic situation and I also think she is very anxious to see Kody get dumped again. It puts an exclamation point on the end of her leaving statement towards Kody. Janelle was so supportive of everything Christine did and how she did it, Christine does need to be that same kind of support for Janelle.
The only question I have is if any of the wives like Janelle, Christine, and perhaps even married, could be considered “common law” wives, or because he’s legally married to Robin that voids in a potential for a common law relationship? We need a divorce attorney decipher the possibilities here. Well done, James, I agree 100%.
Legally a man can only have one wife - legal or common-law. More than one and it's bigamy. But they can do what Christine is doing and bring him to court to prove paternity and sue for child support.
@@SusieQ-mn3qfyes, it was made very clear that she and Kody both had no rights to either ones assets upon death. Cringing as i remember the vulture, Robyn as a witness. Sharing the same man was unnatural to begin with, it's natural they don't know how to move on or co exist afterwards. Esp if Janelle is going to still be with Kody after all he has done that would be hard for Christine.

@@aflow484 I also think Kody is/was jealous of his sons success and achievements so he sabotages them so they don’t “bypass” him.
Kody could care less about anyone’s feelings. Only his own. Be loyal to him and everything will be just fine. Period!
@Relli80 yip you got it
Kootleys high-school reunion they thought he was gay. And always trying to0 hard for friends
Yet they continued to breed with him. SMDH
Agree 100% my kids came 1st. I brought them into the world & as parents they were a top priority.
It's when they are put together in this toxic stew with Narcissist of the Year who stirs things up and pits wives against one another, that these character traits become magnified and the wives are going to naturally fight as they vie for the attention of Mr. Toxicity.
I think Christine recognizes the lack of clarity & direct communication that tends to surround Kody & how that has played out.
Exactly but Janelle is too proud and she end up in the situation she's in because her pride
If he would not have called my child on her Birthday and Holiday, I would have called that man and Robyn and give them a piece of my mind!
It sounded to me like Christine was ordering her to do it. It’s like she wasn’t giving her any leeway and that’s the thing with me Janelle mad and says same or you know you might think about doing this or maybe you should do this Christine was like you need to do it now kind of thing in my opinion.
Christine was dogmatic. She made it clear what she thought Janelle should do.
I completely agree with you James.
James on point as always ! Very much enjoyed that . I love Christine , but I concur with you 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Of all the women, Janelle has been subjected to the most abuse, and keeps returning for more. She left years before the show started, and came back.
She owned a home, had an inheritance, and wasnt that used to buy the Lehi house?
Janelle has been the one giving Kody all her money and receiving nothing in return. Christine can see this now, and is trying to make her stop giving Kody money..
Janelle is now trapped by "sunk cost."
The longer she stays the more money Kody is going to take from her
To be fair, Janelle is wasn’t planning on leaving Kody when Christine signed the land back over to him.
I do not think Christine meant anything, and Janelle gets all weirded out with any questioning of her and Kodys relationship since the beginning.
I think Janelle is weak. Maybe Christine thinks that too
This isn't the first time Christine has gotten to opinionated about how Janelle should handle Kody. Janelle's first concern is settling the land issue.
@@dbprice100 I think this lil spat they get in about this, started many eons ago.
Kody’s name was already off the house. Christine didn’t have to give Kody anything.
Absolutely not. That's what I mean she was under zero obligation to give him anything....except maybe a hard time. (LOL)
I think Kody is toxic...and I'm glad he found Robin because she's just as toxic. I think Christin is just trying to push Janelle to wash her hands of the whole thing and be done with it.
I think Janelle will let Kody know it's over for sure once she gets as much of her money back
I have the same feeling
If I was Janelle I would had bought Christine's house, get it in my name and turn around and sell it. Christine should had transferred the land into Janelles name
There would have been no equity. She would have lost money.
Christine seems more interested in being validated by Janelle than in Janelle being happy.
So true, James. Janelle was trying to play smart and not cause waves. She didn’t have a home with equity to up and leave like Christine did.
Madison is Janelle's 2nd child. Hunter is #3.
Came here to say this!
Why didn’t Janelle tuck Christine’s kids in???
She is not their father. Christine asked their father to be responsible for it and he flat-out said no. That would be the day any love I had for this moron would be dead.
I am LOVING the intro to these videos ❤😂❤
I never thought of that! About the land!
It sounded to me like Christine realized it was a different situation when she did her confessional. I think she just wants her friend away from that toxic situation and after talking to her realized Jenelle has it different than her did.
Hi James! Love your work and keep them coming!
Hey, thanks!
James you are always spot on
Friendship works both ways.
James you are always on point👍🏻
The way you put that made a lot of sense. Thanks
❤❤ love you, James. You are so right on everything. I agree with you 100%.
On target, totally agree 👍
I agree but I do wonder if Christine’s assertive questioning is only when the cameras are rolling.
Love these takes 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you! That's EXACTLY what I was asking... why didn't you sign it over to janelle... at the very least Kody and janelle
Christine is trying to control Janelle and dictate to her how she should handle the ending of her relationship. She should just worry about her own life,
I totally agree with you...Janelle is trying the nice way first...then if that isnt gonna work...wam bam...so good luck to her ...
Agreed. Disagree with James for most points!!! Janelle is weak in this area proven by past.
Because Christine knew Kody would fight her for the house. Verbally. and she knew it would only be uglier then it was if she signed that house to Janelle instead of "her baby daddy"
You’re 100% right
i totally agree with you James.Did Janelle ask Christine for advice ? Amanda in England
She probably didn't think about giving her the land😢.
I said the same thing!!! Why not sign it over to Janelle and/or Meri?!?!
Janelle knows she has to play the game to get the finances straight. And of course we don’t know what the tax returns look like.
Interesting point!
Great points!
you made a lot of sense. and I agree wirh you.
You’re always so right on, love your vids!!!
Very well said!
Christine noticed her approach with Jenelle was a step or 2 out of place she was to quick to judge there situations
I am so freaking happy that you used a clip from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine!! lol
Hey James🎯
👏🏼👏🏼
Janelle should get legal involved to sort out her portion of the land and the house. Kody believes it all belongs to him and Robyn. Kody will never do the right thing. The only way to deal with Kody is to get the law involved and forensic accountants!! Kody will just hide and do any underhanded thing he can to weasel out of paying for his kids. Christine 100% made all the right moves and Janelle should take heed. Janelle seems to happy, like she's not taking it seriously.
He was a wrestler? That explains so much. In my (admittedly limited) experience, a lot of wrestlers are broken by coaches.
I think Christine was so happy LEAVING Kody
She just wanted the same happiness
In Mt opinion
You are on point! I agree with you 100%
Taking the drywall 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Truly almost died while in Kody's care. Dayton had a serious accident while under Kody's supervision.
If Garrison had a a relationship with Kody he might still be alive.
How many more children do these women want to lose because of this jerk?
I don't think Christine thought about it, she was so desperate to just get away she just did what Kody bullied her into.
Janelle looked at Christine like she had nine heads 😂
I think Christine didn't do that because of Truely. Maybe she thought Kody would fight the move to Utah.
Good analysis James. I think Christine gets it now.
She said she did not realize the extent of attachment!
Is anyone else having a problem with watching sister wifes on firestick?
The only question I have is if any of the wives like Janelle, Christine, and perhaps even married, could be considered “common law” wives, or because he’s legally married to Robin that voids in a potential for a common law relationship? We need a divorce attorney decipher the possibilities here. Well done, James, I agree 100%.
Legally a man can only have one wife - legal or common-law. More than one and it's bigamy. But they can do what Christine is doing and bring him to court to prove paternity and sue for child support.
I have to agree with you James. I'm not thinking your coming down on Christine too much. Love themselves og3
I don’t like it when people do that to me either Janel, even my best friend
I’m not entirely convinced that the plots of land were /are divided out legally has any of them ever done anything but “imply that” that’s happened ..
Good catch. The land is divided into four current plots. The dream division Kody refers to, can only occur when/if they pay the land off.
I just had a thought… since Meri is an actual legal ex-wife, could she sue Kody for alimony??
Too late, she signed those rights away legally on that day in the attorney’s office
It's too late and the divorce was in Nevada, neither live there now.
She would have had to ask for it when they legally divorced.
@@SusieQ-mn3qfyes, it was made very clear that she and Kody both had no rights to either ones assets upon death.
Cringing as i remember the vulture, Robyn as a witness. Wearing a twinsie Meri coral jacket and same blond tinted hair. She was already counting money in her head before their hidden legal ceremony..
Hey James!
Sharing the same man was unnatural to begin with, it's natural they don't know how to move on or co exist afterwards. Esp if Janelle is going to still be with Kody after all he has done that would be hard for Christine.
You are on point James. It was a very good commentary.
A little off topic, but does anyone know how Janelle and family faired through Helene? I don't know what part of NC they are in.
This was my first time listening to you (to be honest I was doing meal prep and wanted something I could listen to instead of watch.) you are amazing! Loved your insights. Are you a trained psychologist or social worker? You have a beautiful gift of explaining without criticizing Christine and Janelle. Thank you, I look forward to listening to more of your videos. 🦔 16:26
