On the spreadsheet on the video, in the fixed asset summary are the Year End figures for depreciation expenses correct? I see for example that for computer equipment on YE2019 (go to minute 9:56 in the video) depreciation expense is only $1,494.00. Shouldn't this amount be the sum of depreciation expense for Q1,Q2,Q3, and Q4, or $3,563? Thanks!
Hey thanks for the video and the template. I have downloaded it and I am currently working through the mechanics. I was wondering if there was a way to easily change the depreciation formula to evenly depreciate an asset over the months instead of by days in a month. For example if I had an asset that I wanted to depreciate over 3 years, I could take the 1000/36 instead of having monthly variances based on days in a month?
Other people have also requested this. It is something I will work on and make available. You may find this schedule useful in the meantime. accountingexl.com/downloads/fixed-assets-schedule/
It may not work on your phone, but I just tested it and it is working. Please send an e-mail with your purchase receipt to admin@accountingexl.com and I can resend you a link.
Hi. That's great! Do you have a depreciation schedule using the reducing balance method?
Please can you develop a MACRS depreciation schedule

Will this work with Straight Line, and Straight Line Remaining?

@@AccountingExL Were you ever able to make this available? If so where can I purchase it?
What happen when there is a disposal / write-off of FA? Will this template be able to perform that as well?
When will you have DB/ MACRS schedule excel? Will you have the depreciation by month as well for example 3 years to 36 months
Why does the Fixed Asset Schedule that I purchased only have the SETUP tab, where all the remaining tabs???
Hi Zoe. I just downloaded one as a test and all of the tabs came through. Not sure what happened, but I'll email you a copy.
@@AccountingExL Ok. Please do. Thank you!
I’m having the same issue. I downloaded fixed assets and prepaid. Can you please send to my email.
Do you have a MACRS Depreciation Schedule
Not currently, I will see if I can put something together and post a link.
@@AccountingExL That would be great because I am needing one ASAP. Let me know when you get it put together and I will purchase it?
I was unable to open to download and tried multiple ways. Does this not work using a smart phone?
