- We wind up the best yoyo tricks of 2016 so you dont have to. The skill, the beauty, the creativity and the fun, we tried to showcase the breadth of modern yoyo play from all over the world and how much it has progressed since going down and up.
While we focused on 2016 tricks, I'm sure we took a few liberties or simply let a few older tricks slip through. We hope you enjoy them either ways.

what about the last trick of John Wolfe's nationals freestyle? that juggle was insane, definitely deserved to be on this list.
We're glad you brought that up. It was a tough decision between that and the bottle flip. We just thought the bottle flip was more "2016".
