You have summoned me alongside with an entire fandom also I give you my sign of approval No really it's hard to find a video with modern unresponsive yoyos
When I was a kid. All of us at school would be in school yard Our Duncan yoyo.out of pockets doing. Tricks .it is. So. Joyful to see. Yoyo.s,are still being enjoyed so glad some things don't get old.just. like the original super ball.amd. metal slinky ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I read somewhere that before the yo-yo had ever been considered a toy, it all started with ancient people hunting: they threw rocks at animals to knock them out, but if a hunter missed the animal, the rock was gone, but the angered animal was still there... 😱 (Yeah, you guessed it: "Run, hunter, run, hunter, run, run, run...") Then, one day, someone had an idea to tie a vine to his rock; so, then there was a quick way to get the rocks back, if they missed their targets. With that, of course, came an idea of slinging rocks at the wild animals, or raiders, even, and finally, with the invention of yarn, that weapon was transformed into a toy we all know and love so much! 😀👍👍
@@kvndreamteam duncan came up with it to sell yoyos to children by making it look cooler as like some ancient weapon. They existed as a novelty toy since ancient Greece though as it is pretty easy to make one even by accident
It was documented being used in the Philippines in the 1600s. Earlier dated record were found in China and then Greece and India. A Filipino toy maker started a company in early 1900s. Then thd company was bought by a white business man in California
