I've got a ring tattoo as well. It gets very hot where I live and your hands swell from the heat making it unbearable to wear a ring. After 4 years of wearing them we just stopped wearing them one summer and then my wife suggested wedding ring tattoos for valentines day.so we got them.
My dad had a guy in his platoon who got tattoos of his wedding ring with his wife. She cheated on him, they separated, and then HE CUT THE PIECE OF SKIN WITH THE TATTOO OFF AND MAILED IT TO HER
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! OMG!! i love skillet!
I'm not necessarily a religious person in general - I'm agnostic but I definitely agree that today's society is losing respect/not idealizing loyalty and commitment. My ex-bf broke up with me for no reason at all (at least he didn't tell me why) so I'm assuming he was afraid of commitment or he was seeing someone else. Either way, that demonstrates a lack of commitment and loyalty.
Ring dont mean anything, if you arent the one keeping the vow. Cant help but notice everyone caught up on the ring, but not if the GUY/GIRL are really gonna prove what they meant what they said to one another. Only time will tell, if that tattoo was a waste of ink...or something they held true to. But if we are honest, you shouldnt hold true to the RING, it should be to yourself. And as a result, TILL DEATH. If not, TILL DIVORCE.
A wonderful guy named Ken Steort started that band it would be neat to have an interview with him. He has the Visible School in Memphis where he teaches young adults about music and ministry.
The first tattoo was a huge one below the elbow. Nice. I did a big cross on my back. Glad I didn't go small "since it was my first", but I also know I didn't (and maybe still don't) have the balls to go below elbow... yet.
3 years later, and it seems commitment and loyalty are still missing from our culture. There are so many young people in homes where parents are always busy, and they're being raised without culture or values. I work in the medical field and travel to homes, so I see this all the time. It really is sad. You have friends relying on each other for many things, and essentially end up with kids raising kids. Historically bad!! I was born in 1972 and even in the 90's there was culture, friends were really friends, and you could without a doubt count on them to be there through the good and the worst of the bad. I look at my kids and their friends, and see how people have significantly changed. I'm really not looking forward to seeing how this country will be when my kids are my age. Things are haven't and are not changing for the better. I just rely on faith and hope that my kids will be ok and have a decent life. What you talked about in this video sort of hit home with me. This country really does need a wakeup call. There aren't enough good and genuine people the world today, but maybe it will change in time.
I love your music and how your faith shines through. My son Nicholas John Lee Frazer who went to be with our lord in heaven at the age of 14 was a huge fan and turned me on to your music.
Just being real here... it’s NOT about religion, (which is man-made) it’s all about the relationship we have the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. Jeremiah 29:11
Robert Westmoreland that’s so right it’s sad to see our faith is the Hidden Man of the heart. if I have to wear or put on something to show or to remind others what I am then I am none affect I need to be more like him and transform into his image from glory to glory .he paid for me Iam not to my own .it’s just so sad to see I don’t judge others God made who Iam and he said it was very good not that Iam good but he is.I have missed up big time but he still finds time to love me just as I am .
Considering they have been around since the 90's I think only having 4-6 guitarists is actually a pretty good track record for a 25 year period. It's a very demanding job that requires being on the road constantly, the vast majority of people want to settle down as they get older. As far as I know all of their guitarists have left on their own accord because they wanted to settle down and spend time with family, pursue other interests, ect. In fact Skillet's most recent guitarist Ben still works with the band, his company has produced most of their music videos in recent years and Skillet has helped use their platform to vouch for his company. Their certainly staying loyal to him even though he doesn't play guitar for them anymore.

One of my favourite bands for years. Wish they would make another album like comatose though, their best album in my opinion.
I had the absolute pleasure of meeting these two on the San Antonio river walk by complete chance right after graduating Air Force BMT. Not gonna lie I was star struck haha. Been listening to Skillet since I was a kid. It's unfortunate that I didn't get a picture....
Seeing them this saturday! Cant wait
That’s so wholesome I love it!
Thank you very much for all your inspirational hope and your words. God has blessed you use your voice for what it was intended for to do his will. Praise God
I love this band so much!!!!
I love skillet so much and I love these guys, they are so lucky to do what they do and do that together it's so sweet
That’s so cool, I have my wedding date tattooed as my ring, I didn’t know they did it too!
What an amazing couple. Truly blessed!
I would really love to meet these guys. They are a huge inspiration to me. 😍
My wife Ursula and I will celebrate our 21st on 102821...but without the tattoos...I'll be 62 100621 and I get to rock (I'm a singing drummer like Jen is) on church stage with her every Sunday morning as our church worship leaders. I'm putting out a "Lions" drum cover sometime soon with me singing John's part, not Jen's!
Now at skillet concerts you can definitely raise your horns. You don't have to worry about people saying "ooooh that's a devil sign" and all that stuff
What a inspiration!! You guys are amazing personally and musically!!
So true I got my first one over the summer and I’m already planning on three more😂
Rex Willson just careful to not tattoo anything that looks like shit
Love this!!
I would get the same tattoo as Jhon but he already got it.. Skillet rocks... Great people great artists..💯
Got to meet them at the airport..took a pic as well. Nice peeps!
See them live, they put on a good show. I remember their music from way back in the day.
Awesome! I love her Cure shirt!!
John when did you get married you're so beautiful and sweet kind and brave you have the best kids ever i heart skillet lol 😀❤
They are so cute together😍❤️
You guys constantly remind me of to walk by faith
In a world of Cardi B's, be a Skillet.
Not a skillet fan but i like this dude
I've got a ring tattoo as well. It gets very hot where I live and your hands swell from the heat making it unbearable to wear a ring. After 4 years of wearing them we just stopped wearing them one summer and then my wife suggested wedding ring tattoos for valentines day.so we got them.
That’s so cool!
No clue who skillet is but i have to AGREE WITH THE TITLE 100%. Thank you.
Those guys are awesome
Im a huge skillet fan, ive been to three concerts
Still waiting for them to go on tour with Slipknot, SOAD, and Korn.
My dad had a guy in his platoon who got tattoos of his wedding ring with his wife. She cheated on him, they separated, and then HE CUT THE PIECE OF SKIN WITH THE TATTOO OFF AND MAILED IT TO HER
That's so metal 😂
That is so hard core. Much respect.
That’s pretty sick, bro
Helll yeah
My favorite band when I was a kid and pod my mom threw out all my other music haha Christian Life 😂
Much love for this band.
I'm a mechanic/fabricator . I had to get my ring tattooed on my finger because of the countless times I almost had my finger yanked off.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! OMG!! i love skillet!
Whispers in the Dark
I'm not necessarily a religious person in general - I'm agnostic but I definitely agree that today's society is losing respect/not idealizing loyalty and commitment. My ex-bf broke up with me for no reason at all (at least he didn't tell me why) so I'm assuming he was afraid of commitment or he was seeing someone else. Either way, that demonstrates a lack of commitment and loyalty.
I love Skillet
I love this couple.
Forgive the bad, remember the good
why does every artist that looks so depressed and serious but so fun and funny irl
YEAH!!!!!!!! CONGRATS YALL! couldn't agree more.
Met you at Jesus Fest years ago and time sure does fly FAST. God Bless and many more wonderful years together!
A wonderful guy named Ken Steort started that band it would be neat to have an interview with him. He has the Visible School in Memphis where he teaches young adults about music and ministry.
John and Korey look so much better now than what they looked back in the day
Probably one of the most true things I’ve ever seen in a title.
So true
The first tattoo was a huge one below the elbow. Nice.
I did a big cross on my back. Glad I didn't go small "since it was my first", but I also know I didn't (and maybe still don't) have the balls to go below elbow... yet.
Amen, love Skillet.
I’m against tattoos and I’m even thinking of the wedding ring tattoo because it’s true this world doesn’t do commitment and I do, I’m in it for life
Love the Coopers
She’s a cure fan❤️
I've always wanted to do this.
I’ve got a hero living in me 💪
Just being real here...
it’s NOT about religion, (which is man-made) it’s all about the relationship we have the Father, Son & Holy Spirit.
Jeremiah 29:11
Amen
Leviticus 19:28, which says,”You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord
Also says not to cut your hair....it is all about context.
Commitment is a major factor. I've been married for almost a decade.
"doesn't value commitment".. aren't you guys on your sixth guitarist!?
haha
dahippness counting their current guy they have had 4 guitarists
That was the not point but ok..
