Been following really well up to this point but then I realised... you don't seem to be listening to the game's prompts... They tell you to use the tunnels, you run in and shoot every turret. They tell you to use ships to capture the data spires, you waste your ships fighting turrets. They tell you to use railgun corvettes to combat enemy capital ships and you just ... don't. I don't think I'll be continuing. Good story though, love this game.
I'm really enjoying the campaign so far. I would love to see a bit more priority target firing instead of just selecting a huge group of enemies. If you send the right units after the right targets you'll have fewer losses. You don't want your ion frigates trying to shoot strike craft, right?
I was hoping the group would prioritize appropriate targets somewhat automatically. They did not. So you are correct. Orders and movement will need to be more deliberate going forward.
The game has a few pathfinding issues and unit engagement behavior that needs improved. The story is excellent to me. Graphics and performance are solid. I have yet to tinker with multiplayer.
That is a NICE touch to use a scene from the HW1 ending for the intro cutscene here, thats a major thumb up in my opinion, but the dialogue wasnt doing it with me, the story isnt giving anything meaningful and feels messy so far, 2 enemies so far an barely anything on the Kalan Raiders, just saying they're a Taidaani vassal doesnt do much this many games in.
These cut scenes and the music blow my mind!
I love them. Feels like a natural extension of Homeworld 1 and 2.

Been loving these vids so far Heir but as a Soban main you lack of railgun spam hurt me dearly.
Give him time, he only just unlocked his first frigate last mission. Spam takes time to set up properly.
We will definitely hit some rail gun corvettes hard on the next opportunity.
