Honestly, gardevoir has become so notorious and widely accepted that its practically integrated into society and has lost all tabooness, which is the largest reason that "art" triggers those receptors. I can honestly cannot see it as smut anymore to the point that if there was official artwork like that, I wouldn't even blink. AND I DONT EVEN LIKE THEM.
I like Gardevoir because it has justified my headcanon for what it actually is.
So, Gardevoir was historically in the Indeterminate egg group, alongside things like ghosts and blobs of sludge. It didn't even have the human shape egg group until gen 8. It is also explicitly stated that all forms of it detect and feed off of emotion.
My hypothesis is that they're something between a mimic and a succubus, and that the green and white matter is all superfluous to the red gem, or "core" of the pokemon, and its appearance is largely arbitrary, taking a generic form to inspire particular emotions to eat from their preferred prey, humans. The completely defenseless young resemble human infants to inspire protective emotions, and facilitate being picked up by humans, the adults attempt to inspire feelings of safety and security, while also scooping up some tasty lust on the side. Gallade and Gardevoir are just optimized to prey on different halves of the human species.
The feeding is harmless, as it's just consuming emotions humans cast off, but it's still a symbiotic-leaning-parasitic relationship.
And then everyone wants to marry one, it and Gallade's Megas lean further into archetypes of human bonding, and the whole thing just makes my brain feel smug.

Yes, but it is more of a disguise than a real transformation. Like it can turn into a small pokemon, but you can still bump into Zoroark’s “hidden” body.

Hey guys, did you know that it is actually morally correct to smash some of the pokemon? Not only a lot of them are capable of human like thought and are intelligent, some of them can also telepathically communicate with you. But best of all, you could probably use a psychic type to establish a communication with any pokemon you like and not only ask for consent, but also check if they are mentally capable of understanding what consent means and if they are truly ok with it and not just influenced by submission, which means you could love your pokemon however you want to without fearing that it could shock or emotionally damage them.
Just remember to use the *[HARKNESS TEST]*

Does it have intelligence similar to or greater than human intelligence, 2. Is it of maturity, 3. Do you have a way to properly communicate. If any of those criteria fail then you shouldn't smash
it's surprising how many of his smashes were just horses, deer and sheep. his over the top reaction toward Ponyta, Rapidash, stantler, arceus, deerling, and virizion are what made me pay attention to this weird detail. Incense bred pokemon are not safe for these things. Even if they gain emotional maturity, the vessel still can't face the damages.

Hey guys did you know that in therms o human companionship, flareon is the most huggable pokemon? Whit their maximum temperature is likely too much for must, they are capable of controlling it, so they can set themselves to the perfect temperature for you. Along whit that, they have a lot of fluff, akking them undeniably incredicle soft to touch. But that's not all… they have a very respectable special defence at 110, which means they are likely very calm and resistant to emotional damage. Because of this if you have a bad day, you can vent to it while hugging it, and it wont mind. It can make itself even more endearing whit moves like charm and baby doll eyes, ensuring that you never have a prolonged bout of depression ever again

No man you passed on a good one. Garchomp. Garchomp in a shark but also kinda thicc. See sharks mate by the male viciously bites onto the female and she quietly takes it not lashing out nothing. Now you might be thinking that there vag would be sharp because of scales but they don't have scales there and I'm told it's very soft and Slippery. Not only that the scales actually are very smooth going one way so it be fun to pet assuming you do it correctly. And you get a super strong pokemon and you could go see cythia and talk about how properly raise them maybe build a connection and bam got your self a date with one of the hottest trainers. Hard smash on Garchomp for me.
