  • This is the 2024 Nissan Z Nismo, which if you didn’t know, Nismo means Nissan Motorsports, so the Z Nismo is the out-of-the-box track-ready street car which starts at $65,000.
The Nismo features new exterior styling which provides improved downforce and cooling, a stiffer chassis with bigger akebono front disc brakes, wider 19 inch forged Rays Nismo wheels wrapped in specially developed Dunlop GT600 tires, a Nismo red themed interior with Recaro bucket seats, alcantara, and a new aggressive sport+ mode, and more horsepower and torque, courtesy of a twin-turbocharged 3.0 liter V6, producing 420 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque, only available with a 9-speed automatic transmission with faster upshifts and downshifts and revised clutch packs sending power to the rear wheels.
Weighing 3,704 pounds, the NISMO Z Achieves 0-60 in 4.1 seconds, a ¼ mile in 12.6 seconds with a Limited top speed of 155mph.
Now I know that alot of enthusiasts want a manual transmission, but the automatic is faster, and as a track-focused model, that what matters, you can always buy the Z performance for the stick shift.

Honestly one of the better reviews of this car and one that pointed out the fact that for those missing the manual, you can still get in lower trims and if you wanted, you can upgrade your trim to match the Nismo down to the Nismo aero package as well.

Thank you for watching and the compliment! At the end of the daythe NISMO is a focused car, if a manual transmission is a must or you plan on modifying the car anyways, you can get the 6-speed cars

Thanks for watching! This car was great to drive! While some may have wanted a manual NISMO, the automatic transmission is the fastest around the track, and that’s why they chose it.

Great review. I think Nissan nailed the asthetics, but could of done better with the exhaust note, and transmission options on the Nizmo.

Yeah, a more aggressive exhaust would be good, granted it’s always going to be a bit muffled with the turbos. I know everyone wants to see a 6-speed option, but the take rate for the standard Z might be too low, but at least they upgraded the auto for the NISMO!

It’s the stock exhuast. Nissan should have included the track exhaust as a standard on the car.

I will never not hate those headlights. All other new nissans have sharp edge led but they put those ridiculous rose pedal shapes on their best car. I think this car will look outdated quickly because of that.

Really? I love these headlights, to me they give off a retro futuristic look inspired by the 240Z

@@jalopy_jeff Can't stand them, and I picture in my head those dum eyelash things on the lights. This car would have been perfect with the new rouge light setup
