The glass is a barrier between the ground floor and the stairs going to the lower ground floor kitchen, and while it wouldn't have been my choice, it doesn't bother me. It makes the room look much more open and light, which is why I think the previous owners chose that look; otherwise I think it would have made the room look much smaller.

Haha! I have had my dog since she was 2 months and she is 4 1/2 now and we still don't fully trust her. She gets a wild hair up her rear every now and again and chews up something she would not normally chew up.

Be glad you get one dustbag from Chanel. My leather espadrilles did not come with one and when I try to get one they tell me they can't give me one! 😫
