+Staci Harper Hmmmm, I can't compare them to Birkenstocks, but I am a pretty standard 38 and these fit perfectly. I will say to be sure that you are looking at the double sole espadrilles vs the single sole; the single ran up to 2 sizes small. Google for pics of the soles if you are unsure. :)
Congrats on the espadrilles! What a lovely thing to do for someone. I have two pairs in leather and they are slightely different on my feet too although they are the same size and year. Don't mind paying for things that are obviously worth their pricepoint, but for what these espadrilles are I find them overpriced.
