FINALLY a band I would spend my money to see! It's about time this mess got settled and that the REAL Queensryche is back. I love Tate...he will forever be the original but times change. They sound better then ever and they are playing the songs I want to hear.

Great version! Are the backing vocals the original tapes mixed with live vox, or new tapes mixed with live?
I remember watching this live in 87. I had never heard of them before and they were opening for Ratt. Man, when I saw them start I couldn't walk away. I had never seen such performance. Scott had some weird futuristic looking drumkit and threw down on it and the guitar sound and all the background effects, captivating. I am glad to see this being played again. It was one of my favorites off RFO. Todd does a fantastic job.
Let's be real, there will only be one Geoff Tate and according to those that know him thats really more than the world needs. That being said, I have to say that Mr LaTorre brings new life into a band that you would have never thought was possible. He is way more engaging with his audience he sings his ass off. You can tell that they are a band, not each an individual performer and that's what it's all about. Listening to the songs for so many years, holding them to such an esteem u would think it would be impossible for us forget there was ever a Geoff Tate. Well, you have achieved that. All I have to say from this 30+yr Queensryche Listener/Follower/Junkie is.... Rock On!
RAGE will forever be my favorite Ryche album, not to mention one of my favorite albums ever. While I know many would lean toward Mindcrime, to me RAGE is the quintessential Ryche masterpiece. It flows from one song to the next nearly seamlessly and was so incredibly ahead of its time. I think if you took Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, and Depeche Mode and threw them in a blender...it would sound very like Rage For Order. I can listen to that album today and it seems as relevant now as it did then.
Well, this settles it for me..As a fan starting back in 1986, this is the version of Queensryche that is now the Real deal. Todd sounds fantastic..the band is super tight.. Awesome job guys.
Hell yes, time to move on now that the poison has left the band. They won the rights to the name for good reason. 3 of the original members! Good luck trying to find another vocalist hitting notes like that!

I was at your show in Ft. Lauderdale a few months ago. It was fantastic. Great setlist as well. I remember meeting Parker at one of Geoff Tate's wine tasting dinners in Walla Walla, around 2010 or so. He asked me what some of my favorite Queensryche albums were and how I liked the direction of the band at that time . He was really cool and I let him know I wasn't too thrilled with those last few albums with Geoff.
Sounds great! I hear a bit of distortion/clipping or something, but you'll have that with the raw board recordings from time to time. I can also hear Eddie much better than I can on the studio version which is cool. Sounds very tight overall.
Todd is honoring in the the best and most amazing way the Queensryche i loved all my life. And if that was not enough they made a truly original and awesome new album which makes me crave for the next one. I guess i can smile again. :)
No one could ever do it like the original as GT's voice was so rich and warm. Todd is a great replacement, I feel the energy in the band isn't there, maybe try acoustic. Time to mature move on from the days of metal, I bet Todds voice will also enjoy a more melodic sound.
