Hell average tips where I live is like $4-$6 and I live in a pretty nice area.. I have noticed. The nicer the neighborhood the lower the tip
Honestly though. Dropped to some million dollar homes in lake Oswego Oregon and the tips are just like…damn dude really?
I find the upper middle class type homes generally tip the best
@@jordanirons4711 yeah same in my area.
People that live in really nice houses are the people in the biggest debt.
Same
Ive been in some nice neighborhood and them motherfuckers doesnt give me tips!! They’re miserable
I’m in Chicagoland area. Woke up with a 51% rating ended my dash at 11%. I am not a cherry picker. I was repeatedly sent high mile low pay offers to the point where I had to call them and ask what was going on. I think it’s a top dasher problem. There was no way for me to get my acceptance rate up. So I just gave up and realized that doordash is what it is.
Just for the record it wouldn't be a top dasher problem, because you haven't been in the top dasher zone yet if you were at 51.
I had that experience in Louisville Kentucky. I was at 48% AR and all of my orders were high mileage low pay. I had to just suck it up for a while and take those to get my AR to 70%. Once I got to 75% AR, all of my offers are low miles and high pay. It’s a slog but its worth it
@@iAmos0420 😂😂😂 for the record I’m not saying I’m a top dasher lol. I’m saying doordash may have too many top dashers. Which explains why they made it impossible for me to get to top dasher.
@@mysweetlouisvillehome I’m in a huge zone that borders the city of Chicago. There is no way to do the offers I was sent. My first offer was to a Jewels 15 miles away, while I was passing a Jewels lol. I actually did it to keep my rating and thought I could start in that area. After that I received multiple 12 mile jobs going guess where? The problem ain’t just safety it’s more of the payment, which is always lower than the miles because they don’t tip there. So taking all jobs is not good here
Exactly. It's rank bullshit !
Spot on! I’ve been getting assaulted with trash orders during non busy times. I have to turn off door dash at those times and turn on uber eats
Yes busy times only!
I was sitting around 40% acc. and got crap and hardly any orders all day. I was about done with DD. Was about 3 days ago I took ur advice, so I decided to attempt to raise it. I took everything, stuff I would normally pass on. As soon as I got 50%, boom, lots o' great orders and alot of them. Made it up to 59% by the end of the month, so no dash anytime for me, but at least I'm able to get better orders now. Working my way to 70% to get even better ones, and hopefully sustain till the end of month.
very nice marty good work!
Thanks for clearly explaining to me how I went from a Top Dasher to something else...I refuse low bid offers and it has greatly changed my rating, I'm trying build my rating back up but its very difficult.....Rating is now 4.48...acceptance is 45%....99% completion rate....93% on time or early......Im always looking for ways to improve...I been doing this now for 3-weeks......I have not had a high paying order yet, I work 10-12 shifts for average $100-$120 total then $20 on gas...Its better than nothing while Im looking for other employment...I quit OTR trucking because the freight rates have crashed hard and companies are going out of business daily, our economy is trash right now
@@DonaldAmico-cz7bk Some days I may 200 in 6...
Great job clarifying the top dasher algorithms. Helped a lot!!
AR is killing me. I spent a week just taking every crap order that came through, got my AR back up to 92%…
Then I (shockingly) decline NEGATIVE orders ($3 for 12 miles, $4.50 for 9 miles, $2 for 8.9 miles ; with my chart computing my card gas mileage, gas price that day & distance, I LITERALLY LOSE MONEY for these trips - not low tip, not break even, it LITERALLY COST me $ to take these orders), then my AR drops back to 76% I’m a couple days…
This is ABSURD. NO, A**HOLES, I’m not going to LOSE money to take an order, but if I don’t, I drop below 70% & get noting but sh¡t orders…
DD doesn’t understand my area (Houston suburbs; Clear Lake, NASA, Friendswood, League City - there are a few central locations PACKED with all the good restaurants, and all the ppl in the surrounding rural-ish areas want them (not rural like endless cow pastures, but LARGE, spread out expanses with MILES & MILES of NOTHING between suburban areas… and these ppl KNOW they are 8-12 miles away from the restaurants, and STILL tip either NOTHING, or $1-3.
On top of that, the ‘zones’ (especially Friendswood are set up so ludicrously, +50% are outside your zone, so that 12 miles trip includes 8-10 miles outside the zone, so it’s not just 12 miles there, but 8-12 miles BACK to return to your dashing zone, so 12 miles becomes 20-22 miles round trip just to get back where you can even accept orders…
Idkwtf to do at this point…gas @ $3.20 plus 17 mpg (Jeep Wrangler) for a 20 mile round trip eats $3.76 in gas on top of 15-18 minutes BOTH WAYS, so no, even your $9 total ($2 DD + $7 tip) means I make $5.24 for a 30-40 minute trip… 3-5 of those orders is the entire dinner rush.
Whew! I had to vent. But seriously, I’m not killing my car, driving 24 miles and burning up 40 minutes to make over two dollars UNDER minimum wage… but gotta keep that AR up! 🤬🤯
Just became a top dasher for the first time to test it out. Thanks for the 15min and a half information and prep talk you have given. It really helps that you go inn full detail of it and much appreciated. Thanks again 🙏🏼
Glad it helped
I drive in New Orleans and it's slow in the day but at night it's lit. On the weekends I can stay out till 4am.
I really like your analytical and objective approach to this! Maybe you could answer a question for me. To my west is a pretty dense population area and lots or restaurants, to the east things get rural pretty fast. Sometimes the total payouts are OK, but it's always a long drive to my east and almost zero return opportunities. I often pause my dash so I don't get the dreaded $2.50 rural McDonald's run that I have to turn down.
I position myself to the west, but DD will slowly lead me to the east one run at a time, or just offer me a trip from a place that doesn't exist in the corn fields of Ohio. How do I limit the amount of offers I get going to the middle of nowhere?
This is my first month of being a Top Dasher, you info was golden!! Thanks!!!!
Wow! I don’t live in your state or area but maybe you can choose another zone to start your dash & hope for the orders sending to your ideal zone?? Since you’re a top dasher you can also end your dash after you’ve been sent to the wrong zone then restart at the zone that you want?
@@hanggeng7269 I've been thinking about trying another zone, it's just there is some really good money and popular restaurants in this zone. I was hoping there is a way to train the app to not send me out there. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic LOL
I just became a door dasher recently and I was surprised to see I was a top dasher. I thought it was a mistake but looked up and found out they give new dashers top dasher for two weeks as a welcome for my area Portland/Vancouver. You're definitely right about those low orders at odd hours. I just got done running 10pm to 2am and I was doing 90 percent UberEATS and 10 percent Door Dash but during the Day/Early Evening Door Dash has been shining so much I just turn off UE.
I can already see Top Dasher is what I want always if only for that Dash Now button.
It will go away even if you had perfect scores!
@@mikemcilheran7212 yes mine just went away?! And apparently you don’t get it back till the 4th of the month
I’m pretty happy for next month. I just made top dasher. I live in a small city in Ohio and have a regular 40hr week job. Made some long haul trips to Columbus to get it but got my 100th order tonight!!!
@Sin City Delivers I don’t agree with Doordash “High Acceptance programs” but I do appreciate you being honest with your viewers 🙏🏿
I don't agree with taxes but I appreciate America the land of the free!

It has to be your zone. I got my ar to 61% and I still see the same offers that I was getting when I was in my 20s. I only seen like 3 diamonds offers. This has been through lunch time as well. I even called door dash to find out what is going on and of course they are no help lol. I'm going to maybe try another zone. I thought it was the higher at the more offers you get or priority and not in this zone.
Same. When I reset there was a short honeymoon period as in 2 weeks. I was at 76% at end of month and literally had about 20 offers in a row for $4-5 supposedly high pay with a 4.99, 98% completion, 97% on time, oner 3000 deliveries. It has never stopped. Just use UE now.
I'm new to doordash. I want to knw if you all experience this too. I just started dashing for the past 3 weeks. On my first 2 weeks, I was getting a lot of orders and was super busy but on my third week, it was so slow and I would quit early because my wait times were 15-25 mins compared to 5 mins on my first 2 weeks. Now that I have top dasher this month, I hope I get more orders.
The first 2 weeks grants you top dasher status. But after that you lose it if you don't make requirements. Earning drops after that 2 weeks as you learn your market. It should return now that you are back to TD status. The same thing happened to me. Keep dashing and get that money to the bank! 😊👍
All depends on the market your in. I cannot deny the benefits of AR. My wife proved it to me clear as a bell. We dash the same area. We are in a Diamond zone BUT TD allows us to Dash anytime. We're in a saturated DD market
@Tod have you guys experienced running dash? Where the app sends you orders after every drop off even if you are not in a hotzone. That's the real advantage to TD with high AR.
@@danimarflores190 My wife has. I just hit TD for April.
I've watched a lot of RUclips videos on dashers and you have given me so much more perspective on how the algorithms works. Thank you!!
Glad it was helpful! I wish you the best at dashing
Thanks Richard. I was wondering why I get the same customers. I'm only at 58%. I keep having to decline the long-distance orders with low pay that don't make sense. Not sure what else I can do? 🥴
Got my notification earlier today 🥳
A lot of good info in this video! Thank you!!
You are welcome 😊
I understand that it likes to pair you up with customers and give top dashers first crack at good orders, but you also mentioned how it's about the company pleasing the customer which means that though you might be top dasher, it's also about being in the right place at the right time, correct? I mean If you're a top dasher and you're farther away than another dasher who's sitting on top of the restaurant, wouldn't they get first dibs or how does that work?
I'm not top dasher but my ratings are above 80s, and I see all the time often you drive by or go to a place, you get an order. Also Ive noticed some parking lots/store areas seem to confuse gps and wont see anything until I drive back on open road then will get that same place 2 minutes later down the road. On the other hand theres a certain parking lot across the road from a TB, where Ill often get one, better than in the TB lot itself or walking into the TB but l think it has to do with phone service at the moment too.
I have a 100% completion, 92% acceptance (though I’ve never turned down a dash), a 4.81 satisfaction rate, all very high. But I lost Top Dasher only because I took too long at an Aldi’s that was out of 5 of 8 items and I had to call clients for substitutions. Pissed me off.
I no right…it takes time to shop for ppl…especially if u don’t no were anything is at..doordash be trippin
I was up at midnight and waiting for the next day to roll over on the schedule and “no slots available” how is this possible? All the drivers were up too? And took all the times in 1min that I was up too? I have high ratings and received a top dasher status and this entire week DAYS in advance
“No slots available”
I'm getting new orders from restaurants. I've never been to before
Hell yeah you are!
@Sin City Deliveries will you do a video of the large order program next, or do you already have one
For mine 11pm-2am is always a banger
Yup I agree with Richard. Thanks again for the advice. Former Cherry picker to 54% now. Stay safe and get some good orders out there everyone.
In my area even better offers at 70% AR. Keep up the good work. Imo it will pay off for you
Yep seen that title I’m here just got mine
How you message after you closeout the delivery once I see the payout it won't let you message again if you can show me. THANK YOU in advance
I just went from 80 ar to 50 ar in a matter of hours I'm so over door dash, and new york is not the place to dash its way to over saturated.
This guy has a partnership with Doordash and in it he’s never allowed to say anything bad about the company.
100% incorrect they only give partnerships to girls. Now if my name were Rachel and I had simps following me I'd be sponsored.

Doordash also uses an AI, not an algorithm. This AI actually rewards you when you take less than desirable calls. More times than not, if I take a less desirable call, within the next couple calls, I get a high paying one. It gives you a temporary boost in priority. I used to cherry pick but I found I make substantially more taking most calls. There are some I will not accept but my data shows the high acceptance rate really pays off, especially when you get above 78%. 80% or higher, the orders really start to come in a lot more. I went from about 45% active time with a 52% acceptance rate to a 65% active time above 75% on my AR. Not making any money just sitting around waiting.
I’ve noticed this too personally, whenever I accept a REALLY bad order (trying to boost my Ar) I tend to get like 2-3 really good orders to off set it
I get top dasher by doing 10 shop and pays every week while not having to accept trash orders. Best of both worlds.
Good for you
I just got top dasher last month only work maybe like 10 times a month but make at least 200 a day out here in Canada I accept all orders cause that's how business works it don't matter if there is no tip at all
In my Zones that I Dash in, good shifts are 8:30am to 12:30pm and 6-10pm. 8-10/11pm is juicy for me. I get people's munchi orders for snacks(Shop and pays), ice cream orders, and Pizza orders. Those are hot at night! In the AM, McDonald's and coffee places are my money makers! ☕
I'd like to also say, I'm super glad I searched and found your channel 🤍 The positive vibes and super helpful tips is the best!
Thank you 😊
In 4 yrs I had 460 deliveries and ar between 5-20 percent and I've been watching yourself ,Pedro and Trader and about 2 weeks ago I started working on getting those ratings up and I did just that then I realized I needed 100 dashes to get TD so I accepted all orders Thur and Fri 42 of them ...mind you had no scheduled shifts and I got lucky Thursday night and got a 3 hr block on university of Tennessee campus and 11-2 am and I was able to extend it and did 16 dashes in that block wound up with 22 for that day and got lucky and got several shifts on Friday and knocked it out ...
Epic!
I’m in Knoxville as well. Go west my friend. Stay west and fuck campus. Stay between Cedar Bluff and Papermill. I’ve got 12k worth of deliveries.
@@OneFineVol that’s where I kill it on UE. I work Bearden Hill a lot
I was a top dasher in April and currently a top dasher also in May. I dash from 11am to 9:30 pm every day, seven days a week. 95% of the orders I receive are trash. Half of the catering orders come from low tippers. I’m getting sick of DoorDash. They’re giving me anxiety even after I worked so hard to become a top dasher. Today I declined about 30 trash orders and my AR went from 71% to 52%. In through with DoorDash. They want every one to become a top dasher do DoorDash can maximize their profits and make sure cheap customers get their order on time. They don’t give a damn about the drivers. Once I find another job I’m quitting DoorDash for life.
Facts! Whatever you made minus gas, taxes, wear & tear. DD is forcing drivers to take trash orders so they can make money & keep cheap customers happy. F*ck TD status! I multi app & do what works best for me as a contractor.
@@k9casablankino845 same here, my friend. I agree with every word you said and that’s exactly what I’ve been telling DoorDash reps and supervisors for months. I’m very confrontational and told them many times that the top dashing program was meant only to benefit DoorDash to maximize their profits and low paying orders. I’ve been a top dasher since April, yet I only accept profitable orders. The struggle is real.
Why so mad lol you can literally make 800 dollars a week with doordash. How can that be a bad thing
@@Liqhtningwhen you spend 200 a week on gas, not including wear and tear, there’s plenty of reason to be mad. Door dash isn’t willing to pay people to actually dash, it relies on tips instead of splitting the profit they get more evenly from delivery fees.
@@k9casablankino845I’m lost if DoorDash causes wear and tear… what does normal driving does to your car
Yeah you definitely get repeat customers. It's all about satisfaction and creating 5 star experiences like you said. With Uber eats, doordash, whatever the platform, I've gotten repeat business on those apps. I like your follow through on thanking high tippers with a message of thanks on the DD app. Nice gesture. Thanks for sharing!
No doubt
@@SinCityDeliveries to be honest I appreciate the $3 tips just as much too! I realize how expensive it is. When I'm doing rides like on Uber and Lyft, those tips are amazing! Any and all generosity is 🙏 made about $7500 last month and easily a third of that is off tips.
I hate when I take a small tippers order and they give me a good rating cuz I have to keep going back there. It's always during busy times.
@@iAmos0420 if you take the order in a stack, maybe use some of your completion rate to unnasign. Richard does that a fair amount. Completely understandable
Love this video, but I REALLY love the flag on the wall behind you!!
Little rock area earn by time model is pretty competitive, instead of peak pay they are giving extra $/per hour it's 14.75 right now but incentives have pushed it to 20.75/hr every night since last Wednesday from 11:30 to 5 a.m. sitting in McDonald's long line has never felt more fair.
Very nice!
Think it depends on the market. Whether you'll be successful. Last time I tried for top dasher I was at 44% took 70 orders in a row without declining any. Really bad $3.25 etc very high miles, end result was an AR of 67%. Even with no declines, support said rolling average? Maybe my math is off, but it did add up.
Ok my top dasher didn't kick in today till about 2pm...which is odd..I was dashing at 11 to 1...and very low orders...on the other hand...uber eats yesterday...I made $79 in a hour and 15min😮... im in Cincinnati...I will see how this top dasher rewards me this month!
Got top dasher this month of April and have been following most of your advice. Sadly it’s like it has gotten worst. I’m just getting bombarded with orders below 5$. Max orders I’ve received is 7. 50$ so far since the start of the month. My AR is 83%, acpt rate is 99%, 4.98 rating. Like this is demotivating and draining.
That's unfortunate, try driving in a location with more expensive restaurants. Sounds as if you are looking for high paying orders around predominantly fast food. Also drive during the peak hours of when people eat this will inevitably increase your likelihood of receiving those high paying orders, possibly consider driving to a new zone. You may want to consider lowering your metrics of what accept, I don't know all your circumstances and I'm just only suggesting solutions, any order that pays 1:1 should be looked at.
I’ve been doing all of that. I usually utilize three zones on different days. Yesterday I tried a fourth one just to see if it would be different and it was more of the same. Probably got like two 10$ orders and that was it. I mean red lobster for 3.75$/4miles, Outback Steakhouse 4.00$/3.8 miles, papa John’s 5.50$/ 3miles, Taco Bell 2.50/3miles. Lol. This has been the trend for the last week or so since I got too dasher. I’ll get one decent order and the others are just meh. Uber keeps saving the day at least for now. Hopefully it gets better.
@@GbayNation I had that same thing yesterday, almost all were $4 - $6, and saying high priority, high pay even though I'm not top dasher but have always had pretty high ratings. When I first started I did all by the time pay and made more, but they were more distance too which I got tired of running out the country orders. When I switched to per order, the payouts were definitely lower, Like I had never even seen $4 orders on the time pay basis. And now I've noticed if I do start dash on the time pay, I don't get anything, then if I switch back to per order, the button wont work, it just kicks me out until next scheduled dash if I have one.
But then if I start on per order, it still will throw out the same long distance orders, except with no time pay, just that first amount you see, and of course theres no extra pay for the delivery time period (plus the tip) so all you'll see after is still that $2.50 base pay for like 25 miles rt of driving, so I can see you would have made more every time on the time pay compared to the same order on the per order basis. I try and tell others to at least try it, no one will! And even though they're longer trips, they almost always have better tips, rarely is it a no tipper. All m
I enjoy the Discord as Jerocua, thanks for what you do! I got my notification today that I'm a Top Dasher now! 200 orders done in 10 days! You inspired me, Thank You
Awesome thank you! And nice work you killed it!
Just got TD again for the new month. Ty Richard! Now take my $2.99 for the membership, I will have made it back by now :D
How you message after you closeout the delivery once I see the payout it won't let you message again if you can show me
Oh yeah & final stats for March: CUS RATING: 4.88, AR & CR 98, Time 95, 852 deliveries. Thanks to bugs& glitches ruined my 💯 AR RUN!
I need to raise my "thank you" text threshold! I have been doing that for everyone who tips over $5.00 lol.
I don't want $5 tippers lol!
@@SinCityDeliveries And this is why I love ya! You help me morph into a better dasher! Just hit 6 months yesterday, but each day gaining more knowledge!
@@SinCityDeliveries Ha, sadly in smaller markets, that's not bad, better than a no tipper!
For me the reason I want to achieve top dasher is for that 'dash now' because scheduling is nearly impossible in my zone unless I go 40 miles to nearby city.
How do you thank a customer for a good tip? You don’t know the tip until you mark it as delivered and as soon as you say delivered you lose the ability to text them.
go to the dash now screen top left corner is a text message box, you can message a customer i think up to 15 minutes after a drop

That's lunch, it should have done well, although it is a Sunday...

1) Driving around constantly ?
2) Do a Bus route style of driving thru hot spots ?
3) Just sit in hot spots ?

No tip trips for what? A green star? My acceptance rating is only 8% and still make 150 for a few hours.
Make a RUclips channel and prove it
Great stuff!
I'm learning a lot. I am in top D and Diamond.
I start my shift in my driveway and immediately get two low paying orders, bust them out, do door dash a solid, then ai get position where I want to deliver ( hopefully top $$$$$ restaurants )
I'm at 92% accp. Only deny badly - $/mile orders, but even then I wonder if the algo had a juicy reward for me if I take the turd.
Also, when it's busy Switch to per hour. I'm waiting a lot for orders. Hot and fresh I remind the customer that I'm there making sure food is at the peak of freshness.
Delivering at night to apartments is such a money loser for me. I prefer to turn and per by the order fast. When I can't find building 17503 "next to the dumpster" and then realize it's another building still even when I find the one marked.
Stupid designs basements etc lose you money on by the order
Yep, next to the dumpster, in the back, side bldg. 5, none of it that you can see..
Hey nice video. I just start doordashing 2 days ago. I accept almost all the orders, except one that was 3.5 dollars and 8 miles drive. I did about 15 hours total, and made around 170 for the past 2 days. I got stuck on strip for a little bit today, it was painful. Any helpful tips for a fellow Vegas dasher?
Yes, stay away from the strip! Nightmare there
I won't lose money to get my acceptance rate to 50%.'m not interested in being a "top dasher" because I don't see the reason for it. I make fairly good money without it.
Love being top dasher. I sobsome low paying calls but gotta make money and not lose it. Dollar per mile atleast and my area stacks orders all the time. I love it but having trouble seeing where that 2nd or 3rd order is going on the map and sometimes it's unreasonably far. Any tips?
Decline it if it's not worth your time. Time is more important than the oay, if you can take care of it quick do it. Taking smaller offers tends to have stacks a lot so you average a good pay still per week.
Just got my notification of Top Dasher status, and I'm definitely looking forward to making more money. Went from 15% AR to now 91%. Love the vibe and motivation.
I tried and was not allowed. I literally called them and there was nothing I can do. I repeatedly received high order low pay offers even while over 50%. I’m done trying.
I've heard doordash learns the amount of money you "aim" towards and they will send you orders accordingly throughout the amount of hours you usually dash so you make that goal by the end of your shift, is that true? And after you reach your daily goal you won't be getting as many orders on that day, I feel like that has to be a thing
Not at all
I totally agree with you! This has been my experience. This past 3 weeks tho have been the worst. I think there is a glitch in the Top Dasher status. I was normally getting catering order and high pay offers but for the past 3 weeks it has been terrible
I think your right I am on my 4 th straight month of top dasher now I've tested this out today on April 1 . I started at 2 pm from to then till 5 pm I got 14 2.75 orders my acceptance rate 76 percent unfortunately I am at 2265 deliveries so my number is not going up so I feel like I have to take those non tip orders just to keep my rate balanced so after I did almost 7 bad orders I got zero acceptance rate points so still at 76 and I was at 65$ by 6 pm until then I got my first priority order of 7.75$ honestly if u think that's the hours your supposed to work from I am gonna put it to the test I made 106$ 18 orders and did it in 6 hours to me that's a awful night from 76 percent acceptance to 72 as a top dasher 4.97 five star 99 percent completion rate and 97 on time. I hope it gets better last two weeks have been really awful and zero peak means bad things in my area of green valley
Another question I don't get to see peak in your area why is that I have every box checked in the location part of the app is it because I am in Henderson
@@brandonstraczek3398 Wait what, youre saying Hendo and G Valley are not good? I would think they would be.
@@michaelg6641 no what I mean is I only take the crap orders no tip when acceptance rate is low because until your over 80 percent acceptance rate u don't get consistent good orders
Green valley is awesome
I made 140$ yesterday in 5 hours 13 drop off s
So to be a top dasher or are able to just click dash now whenever by having 70% or higher correct????
You can dash now when ever if you have top dasher. It's given at the beginning of each month
@@SinCityDeliveries so with a 70% acceptance rate what would the 70% Benefit for us as dashers?
Yes yes yes I made top dasher for April.
I got a contract violation that I disputed this week. It’s was a never delivered, but I delivered it. It is still on my account but I’m in the green on everything else. Does the contract violation not allow me to get top dasher?
No I got a contract violation the other day and got my top dasher today I was worried about it also
It won't stop you from getting TD
Hi!!! When I am a top dasher, can I reject the orders without affecting my AR during that month? And then the last 5 days of the month upload it to become TD again? Thanks a lot!
Sunday mornings are fire
I've been grinding in March and got my first Top Dasher congrats message today after my first dash ended. When do I get my clown nose?
When you laugh to the bank with your 30 to 60% raise
Simple question…
Do you, Richard, receive any sort of payment, in any form, from Doordash, outside of weekly dashing earnings?
I do not
I don't know if I have a diamond zones, I do get diamond orders. I know I have red zones.
Great video Richard. You have become my favorite Gigtuber. Love the Positivity!
Appreciate that
How are you making any money if you're accepting trash orders? Great you earned an extra $3 but you wasted a half hour of your time... for what?
If you got all requirements, Do you get the top dasher notification email the very first day of each month? How come I don’t see it?
You get the notification in the app when you log in.
Wound up do more dashes in 2 days than I think I ever did in a month on DD....UE I have 4100 and GH around 1500
I ended the month with the required ratings and It doesn’t look like I got top dasher. Why would this happen?
I would say you missed something.
@@SinCityDeliveries 4.98 rating, 70% AR, 100% completion, 94% on time or early, over 200 lifetime and over 100 in the last month. What else do I need?
@RC_KING1147 looks good to me, could be the 70%, somes it's off by a few + or -
@@SinCityDeliveries so should I contact them or wait another month, I’d hate to go this whole month trying to schedule shifts again
On the DD app, you cannot send messages to the customer after the delivey has been completed
Yes you can
I agree 100% you deff can message after you complete the delivery but it's for a limited amount of time before you can't message the completed order.
I like your content
It very informative
I enjoy listening & learning new things
When it comes to food delivery
I have been in the gig economy over 5 years
DoorDash, Uber eats, Grubhub I do cherry I have noticed a major decline in orders on DoorDash & Grubhub
Nope, hope top dasher paid for a new car. It's no tips to apartments and customers don't or don't give 411 n how to enter the complex. Top Dasher? Top fool

Hey Richard I been a top dasher for 4 months straight and I'm still yet to receive a invite to the large order program so frustrating
Your zone is not in need of them, you were prolly late to the game for that specific market area. Too many cherry pickers slept on this info. Lop has been around for years
I never got a invite but I kept emailing them a copy of my catering bag and they finally gave it to me and I get at least 2 catering orders A-day
Bro trying to get people to drive 17.2 miles for $2.25 🤡🤡🤡
No I specifically tell you to decline those, or accept it an unassign it.
Bro trying to act like you know what I'm talking about 🤡 🤡 🤡
You've watched me for over 6 months you should know better
I've been dashing / uber driver for about 2 and half months now, and just watching and experiencing this massive debate over the myth / legitimacy of the AR. For the last two weeks, several hours a night I've been working on raising my AR after having a very high rate and let a bunch of bad orders "time out" cuz I thought it wouldn't be a ding against me, well, it is. So after my rate dropped from the 80s to 45%, I started noticing I was *only* getting crap orders. So now I'm on my way back up, I do think it is real, if I cherry pick any in the future it'll be once I'm 80 or 90 something percent and implement a rule of taking every 3rd bad order, If I pass on 2, then gotta take the 3rd, or something like that.
Also I've started driving pay by the hour instead of pay by order, solely because it takes the emotional element out of it of the initial sticker shock at the front end which then temps you to decline. Take the crap, get it over with and enjoy taking some good orders as well. Ofcourse it sucks, nobody enjoys being pigeon holed into subservience but this is the game.
It's cap. Now you have to do all the wack orders
I believe DD knows if we're multi-apping, and they dont like that. They want loyalty...so I decided to try TD and went for it rather than running all the apps...and in just a few hours of being TD I'm already seeing results!
That's what's up! I do one app also!
The one thing I loved you saying was stop the no tip no trip I’ve kept it positive since day one and as hard as I have worked it’s easy to see how I make what I make because of my driving ways
How can I contact a customer? Once you see the tip, , I don't see how to communicate anymore. ???
Go back to the dash now screen look top left there is a message box of your last customer
@@SinCityDeliveries Wow! Tks 4 the quick response! Now as a Top Dasher I'm seeing bigggg tips!
@@GaryDisciple I know
@@SinCityDeliveries I'm so glad I know this. Often I felt bad, being unable to say Thank You. I'm sure you have mentioned this, but worth mentioning again please in future videos.
How do I say thank you once you complete the order?
You can't. You have to message before you complete the order.
Messages from your home screen will have your current and recent customers
We were until they got rid of dash anytime.
Added for about a week Now they need to make schedules can't do schedules because when they do.
The people who f*** it up tend to get in first because they stay up wait for the schedule and then fill it.
That keeps all talked Dashers from getting in.
Prevent anyone who is trying to be a tough dasher from even becoming one Because top Dashes don't do schedules it's counter productive.
No one rates here ever
I disagree with the we don't pay the bills piece!!
bro did not just correlate hearts with genders
Greetings excellent content as always. I have problems with my acceptance rating, it's very affected, now that the last week of the month is approaching, what do I have to do if I can brother?
I wish I would’ve seen this channel before March ended lol I’m gonna try TD
How many top dashers can there be in 1 area? Is it just if you've worked 30 days and have a 70 AR?
I qualify for top dasher, but did not receive the status yet. I called support and they said it should go through by April 4th or before.
usually happens on the 2nd
Relax it will come today, join my discord so you can see what's happening with top dashers all across the nation, majority have got the status dropped into their account but not all. It'll happen today
@Cam B. I've only seen it happen 1 time on the second and that's at the end of DD fiscal year
@@camb.8289 that’s good to know!
@@SinCityDeliveries yeah if it doesn’t happen today it most definitely will by tomorrow
Bro I have been dashing for 4 years I always make between 150 and 200 in 6 to 8 hours every day for all 4 years. I have never been top dasher its crap.
This guy talks about doordash like a psyop
Inspiring others be cecome the best version of themselves.
I've just decided that I'm going to do earn by time to get my AR up. Okay if you going to send me to the boondocks then you're going to pay for that. I live in a mostly rural area as far as homes goes.
I got a $30 tip tonight but I never want to go to her house again. She was really mean and I almost cried. My GPS took me to the wrong house and they were locked gate houses so the house it sent me to told me it happens all the time and they were nice enough to tell me how to get to the mean lady's house
oh no! that's no fun.
When you are in the area of drop off, zoom in the map and check. If the house is in the middle or center of a clump of houses, there is a drive way going inside. If the map leads you to a drive way and there is a wall, make sure the wall is not one the side of the house you are dropping off too. Most likely if so, the house is in the other side of the wall and you are in the wrong drive way. Things like those make a difference. Also when you exit the navigation map and in the deliver map scroll down till the map comes out then zoom out see where you are in relation to your customer that helps too. Sometime this doesn't work and you have to eyeball the area especially in a large appartment complex. Hope it helps.
@@danimarflores190 Thank you
@Sonya Toolooze 👍 I had experience where the app said here, but the house was actually a mile more up the road 😳 😅
@Danimar Flores o no. I hope that won't happen to me lol. Guess I have to learn to not be too sensitive so I won't cry.
