Thanks Billy.... I've been so upset that we have never received the recognition we deserved for our contribution to this song.... Sure we got paid but not as much as we truly deserved at that time. As our manager though we still thank you for everything you did, and getting our name out there and I wouldn't be where I am today if not been for you.... Tell Lin and Mel I said Hi even though they are still bitter about me leaving the group.... Gotta Go, Im singing backup in 5 minutes for Lady Gaga! Take Care and we will catch up later!!
The song and the music are sensational. This is a song about a man who is constantly haunted by a woman who has him in the love bind and is loosing he’s mind over her. ⚜️🛤
This song is a three part song. Do You Love Me? Do You Love Me Part 2? And if you have noticed it sounds very much like-- "Ain't Gonna Rain No More" -- This is why.. They are related. The films being viewed at the theatre are perhaps some of the most famous footage of the Manhattan Project-- the development and denotation of the first atomic bomb on July 15th, 1945 in Los Alamos and Trinity, New Mexico. Therefore, it is easy to then hear how "Ain't Gonna Rain Anymore" is about a woman of another nature. The final shot mention is of Doctor J. Robert Oppenheimer, mentioned in the song as the, "man with the sly girlish eyes". The cough, rustle can all be heard in the sequence set out. In this song there are also numerous references to other Nuclear test shoot footage. Operation Jangle, Operation Ranger, Operation Up-Shot, etc.
At last we reach the theatre ceiling or the explosion of Starfish Prime, a reference to the highest elevation a nuclear weapon has ever been detonated in the history of mankind- in Outer Space.nd finally the jingle for the Jangle. Test Buster-Jangle. I hope that it helps you see these three songs in another light. Let me know what you think. Basically- just amazing. Simply amazing song, that I'm not sure a lot of people fully understand just what it's about and how much more detailed, brilliant and elegantly interlaced into a three part masterpiece that can mean so much to the listener-- with the exact events of something so specific and nothing vague at all. Yeah, Mick Harvey had more to say in this album and Murder Ballads. After that his role was not as big as it used to be. Shame, although I love the Boatman's Call especially because it has some brilliant writing.
My brother Jesse and two sisters Linda and Melanie sang backup on this song. They were called the Shaisers.

Bizi ruhumuzla kucaklayan her çeşit müziği de kundaklayıp bağrımıza basıp besleneceğiz, böyle böyle büyüyeceğiz.
In all honesty is there a better written love song?
Sadece tını değil aynı zamanda ruhani de.
