duuuuuuuude fucking awesome. Love the subtlety of the swirl with the white fad, black hardware, black fretboard. Awesome work with color here man really. Great demo too, +1 for tank top demos
You'd never get that color scheme from Gibson so there was no choice but to build it yourself. Bravo! How many bands build their own instruments? Not many, I'd guess. Nice work, young man..
Thank you Tellurian Indeed it does well planned wood selection makes it super light the riff is from our song "I am Martyr" find it here on youtube or on spotify
The misted "burst" edge looks really good against the rest of the swirl. I've failed a few times with trying a swirl. I've tried enamels and with acrylic spray cans and both didn't work out well. Do you mind sharing what paint/dye you used? Plus any tips?
Thank you very much Tellurian I am glad you enjoy the look. swirls are hard if you watch the episode where the child tries it you can see it threw him for a loop. Stressfull but he managed to pull through and make it look great. We used a white acrylic spray and Magic Marble Swirling Paint. my best tip is to use less paint than you think and make sure it spreads out on the water. use a big enough container and make sure you have a sturdy stick attached so you can submerge the whole body/neck completely good luck =)
I was looking for something else and came across your video. Impressed is an understatement. Beautiful guitar. Totally dig it.
Lovely to hear that you enjoyed it Tellurian 😀
