Supposedly some wokes raided the branch and tried to harass it. After all, what else do you expect from tolerant and inclusive people? They go rabid the moment they can't control everyone else's behavior.
It's an ironic demonstration of their crazy world view. On the one hand they promote absolute openness, (which is analogous to open source software), and on the other hand they tyrannically exclude everyone who doesn't share their ideology.
Unfortunately the Communists recognized it as a threat which is why theyve been infiltrating it using tyrannical Licensing that forces you to either accept their mind rot or get booted from development.
I love their response. Now they can't go after that employee for tanking their reputation and ruining their relationship with the community, because their tweets defended that employee and painted the community at large as the instigator. If they try to take legal action against that employee now, they can pull out Godot's tweet from the next day. They chose their bed, and now they need to lie in it.
@@thefactory7221 But every major forum of every type of interest over the last 20 years has been doing everything they can to run off all the functional adults that make them popular and funtional.

Swear. The way some companies are, someone could commit crimes and they would act like they're a "saint" and could never do wrong and everyone just out to get them and are liars.
Not only that but they want to pretend that person using the N word wasn't affiliated with them even though that Discord channel at one point WAS the official Discord so it's a question of if they were in there before/after Godot disassociated themselves from that server. However, the new official community Discord has the same mods so they clearly learned jack squat from this ordeal.
The activists are running out of things to ruin. The official response was shocking. I thought they would say 'hey, we're not gonna be in politics' Instead, they basically said they're defending the CM and telling us we're bullies for questioning her actions. What a train wreck.
It's such an easy response to make: We at Godot want to bring game dev to as many people as possible which means leaving contentious political issues at the door. Our focus is giving everyone the tools they need to realise their visions, regardless of what they chose to say.
These people always have their communities on Twitter and Reddit, so of course they have all these woke terminally online people who don't really even care about video games, constantly wrapped around their finger and in their ear all the time, getting positions as community managers so they can ban anyone they don't like. But the REAL community is not even there, because they are just trying to develop games and don't have time for social media gossip and drama. And they don't even use these garbage websites in the first place. So the management thinks they are in-touch with their community, while their actual community isn't even welcome in their central forums because they get banned for dumb reasons by cringe power-tripping reddit moderators. They only listen to the most vocal minority, which are people who neither play nor care about video games.

Yeah, someone, a woman I believe, made the point that gamers are a very competitive bunch and are used to winning and wont give in. We are very much the wrong crowd to try shame and bully.
I don't know who was hit first. It seems to have been a multi-front assault. Because comics got hit too. But, if you look at what happened with first comicsgate and now the Iron Age they're already up and pushing back. Look up the Rippaverse. Man is crushing it building an alternative to Marvel/DC. So it doesn't really matter who came first, so long as we keep fighting.

They know. But they believe "the personal is political", they don't want us to have ANYTHING or ANYWHERE to escape from their politics. They think, that way, we'll succumb to their cult; but instead, it's pushing more people away, because normal people want escapism in our entertainment.
Oh they know the point is escapism. This is all part of an actual Marxist political theory created by Antonio Gramsci. The idea is that the working class were too comfortable and the only way to radicalize them into good Marxists was to remove all their comfort and entertainment. Which means they are out to remove all escapism. Gramsci never heard of the Information Age and his plan is failing because people can read his plan. His book is public domain (somewhat ironically)

Some game developers are too invested in using the game engine, to be able to afford to make the changes. Luckily the game engine is fork able, so other people can easily make an alternative to Godot. Let's just hope it's easy for current Godot game devs to make the transition the the alternative, and the alternative don't get infected by the woke mind virus too.
I dunno what their end game is but it is hilarious to watch for 2 reasons: 1: a year ago people were praising GODOT and flocking to their engine after Unity messed up hard and had to retract their nonsense to keep customers 2: we've been through this same song and dance with other companies that pulled the same thing and it's going to bite them in the ass and I love seeing people get FAFO'd.
The end game is total control. Remember, in this particular philosophy's political thought, just to tolerate something is to enable it. Therefore, they're always on the attack. Awesome, congratulations, these are the BEST groups! ❤ I belonged to one in the early aughts, and it was so cool working with people on something we all cared about which had nothing to do with politics. We succeeded in our goal before 2016, so our group disbanded; but thinking back, I have no idea who anyone would've voted for in that election, and I'm glad. I think it's wonderful that you aren't afraid to accept a wide range of people with different beliefs, giving everybody a chance to contribute, and nobody is getting pushed aside or receiving preferential treatment. It proves that it's not only possible to have people of completely different stripes side by side, covering the full spectrum of the rainbow, who can proudly call themselves a part of a community. It is proof that it's the natural and best way to do things, and you wouldn't want to destroy it with politics.

The biggest problem with Godot is that the engine was updating at a snail’s pace. The reason that management isn’t involved is because they don’t care.
It's ten years old, it should be slowing down. Successful, mature open source projects are very slow to add features; look at the old Unix tools, they're positively glacial in adding features. Once an open source project is reasonably feature-complete, their pitch for a new release is: it's free, it still works the way you're used to, and it's more reliable or performant. People who want more features get them through various plugins, libraries, supporting tools, etc.
I still don't understand why companies allow this to happen. If I was the boss, and someone started banning customers over "wrong-think", I'd fire them immediately.
IIRC, they blocked a guy on Twitter who was a titanium level supporter, meaning they donated $100 per month. They are literally shooting themselves in the foot in order to appease their community manager.

I miss the days when strong men and real women made video games pre-2014. They were't kidding when they said the world was going to end in 2012, now we can see why.
"These people" see their position as a platform to preach their activism with the world. They don't treat their job as time they are giving to their employer to create value. Rather, it's their own personal soapboxes. You see this in every entertainment industry. Actors, ballplayers, musicians, authors, artists, and now video games. They don't understand that we don't follow them for their hot takes and personal stances, and once they stop doing their job (fixing the engine) and switch to activism, we no longer have need of them, and will take our time/money/attention to other things.
Politics is distilling back down to basic moral questions, and it forces these people to come out of the woodwork and try to convince people that they aren't morally corrupt degenerates.
And AFAIK the entertainment industry is the only industry in the world that actively antagonizes their customers to “own the chuds” What do you think would happen if Ford starts to tell their customers to f**k off because “The F150 isn’t made for you”? By the way, Redot is a fork of Godot that actually cares about the engine and tries to be politics free.
Erm. Why not just do sed -i 's/godot/mynewname/g' on the code you already have? And replace an icon or two and recompile it? The new fork doesn't even have devs and if you switch over now you'll be working with a soon to be outdated and unmaintained repository.

Some of them come into a community as normal users. Like indistinguishable from other members on a discord. They get into a position of power, gain trust, and build up friendships. Stuff like this tends to be a slow boil as the person slowly changes. By the time its too late, removing them becomes difficult since they're already good friends with a few of the other mods or are maintaining some systems nobody else knows about or has the ability to manage.
It's starts with one weak person... that person hires someone who is "oppressed" to "give them a chance". Once you let one in they push for more of their brethren and drive normal people out. By the time people who look like this show up.. the system is already infected throughout.

What gatekeeping does is keep one faction from hijacking social media of companies and non-profits or hobbies that have nothing to do with politics. Godot is a game engine. Its social media should be EXCLUSIVELY about upcoming releases and technical information. PERIOD. Nobody is stopping these activists from doing their activism ON THEIR OWN TIME. Honestly, it should be forked; even if this didn't happen. Forking is how innovation happens. It's how you got all of the fun weird distros of Linux and then one of them clicks and you've got a really cool variant that's good at a specific thing. I love Debian, Ubuntu and I'm absolutely adoring Bazzite right now on my console PC. I think this is a good thing regardless.
I was thinking the same thing the entire time. Also, just because the engine forks doesn't mean that good features and tools can't be merged back and forth with minimal hassle assuming underlying architecture doesn't change too much. Having two stable branches of the engine would be good for everyone. (Assuming Redot actually gets off the ground.)
At this point I am convinced that when companies look for CMs, they specifically want people with dyed side cuts, glasses and a nose ring who are literal sociopaths at this point
I think it's more CMs are mostly volunteers and do you think a mentally stable person is going to volunteer monitoring a Discord/Twitter account all day for free?

Now I get to watch the inevitable loss of sub supporters from GoDot. Started all from them banning existing ones. Then the excuses once they lose enough money, and have come to realize their end is coming.
I hope you're right. We'll see if Redot can build a better Godot. Or is this fork just for the sake of being anti-woke? Well if Godot keeps banning it's contributors Redot will surely grow.

The element found in every blocked account was any semblance of criticism of the power tripping, egotistical CM. Don’t kiss their feet? Blocked! It had nothing to do with harassment. No amount of that would make you mistake someone going, “maybe focus on improving the engine, I have this specific issue with it” with harassment and block them. It’s just somebody who didn’t care about the post and wanted them to focus on tangible things. Which upset the ego of the warning hair.
They should have expected this. With open source software, the developers can just take their ball and go home if they get fed up with how things are being run.
I wish it could go back to that way too. Sadly now theres entire generations raised from grade school to believe that certain ideas are universal goods and that anyone who opposes those ideas are evil. The Godot manager who caused all this was one of those children.

@@fillerbunnyninjashark271 I would say we got so polarized because speech is/was strictly controlled on all the major platforms people actually communicate, other than person to person. Speaking honestly about it was disallowed or would get you socially cancelled, as they made it seem like EVERYONE agrees with this or that and took it as a forgone conclusion, and did witch hunts on anyone that disagreed. People couldn't talk freely about things openly. I'm not sure how much it's changed, but there's still Codes of Conduct all over the place and people that will tell call people hateful monsters that are harassing them if they don't share the same beliefs. There's still a lot of people that cry "inclusion" whilst being the most exclusionary people I've ever come across in my life. I mean in the Godot stuff, one actually said something about "including the most inclusive people", in a context where they exactly meant excluding everyone who isn't one of them. They used the word "cleansing", and don't even try to hide it, saying other things to similar effect. "Good, those aren't the people you want", etc. When you try to shut up so many people and treat them like outcasts and go full social cancellation anytime they try to say anything and all this stuff... I think that's where you get the polarization.
If you make your own game engine, you end up building an engine for 5 years, and then you have to spend another 5 years to actually make the game. It's not about skill, I think most game developers would be able to make their own engine but it's just a massive undertaking. You can't compare web development to game development, a video game relies on so much more expertise; (3D) graphics, shaders and physics just to name a few. It's magnitudes more work than web development.
It's not like web development happens from scratch either, they all use the underlying html and php and css and javascript and canvas and all that, which are essentially the engine of web development, and making it all from scratch would be a massive undertaking that no web developer would be able to handle.
Trust me, if you knew some of the godot engine's staff in person, you wouldn't say it will last. It will not last. Godot is going to crash, and redot will prevail. You think too highly of the devs till you meet them in person and see them work.

When in reality banks and governments and tech companies are all taking away our freedoms everyday one piece at the time, passport chips, AI trackers, censorship, etc. They control the flow of information, the flow of money, and even the movement of people, trapping us all in individual barns to be milked, while we're busy with some twitter drama that will ultimately have zero impact on anything.
i am all for companies going apolitical. The less politics around the better. Godot needs to fire that community manager she knew exactly what she was doing. She was flamebaiting and anyone who disagreed with her at all was banned.
I had useless twats telling me I'm a bigot for wanting godot to prioritize development of the game engine and not politics. It seems no matter how hard you try to be objective on something, you are always wrong according to wokies
The sadist part is to see people who have no idea what actually happened and are just accepting the public announcement from the community manager, calling the people who are moving or intent to move over to Redot. Godot made a huge misstep and the person they had in charge of the twitter is incompetent at their role. The announcement failed to address a large swath of large issues that were kicked up and firmly established it's political lean. Which as a game engine shouldn't be relevant at all. In a perfect world, commenters would've insisted "No Politics please" and the Community Manager would've brought this request tot he team instead of freaking out and having a conniption over "harassment" and what is in all honesty normal internet behaviour whenever politics of any kind are brought it. They used the buzzword, they threw the first stone, they made the enemies, and they pointed the fingers and spewed vitriolic hate all over the issue. It boggles the mind to see people who have absolute no idea just what happened looking at it and taking the side of the Godot in this. Because the point who want nothing to do with Godot now? The ones who are thinking about pulling their money out? Those are the people who were fired upon for not being interested in western politics; and all the rest of the hellish stupidity surrounding identity politics. I hate everything about this phase in western history and cannot wait for it to all be forgotten and a bad memory a decade from now. And I say this as a nonbinary, I hate everything about Woke. It has been twisted from LGBTQ+ positivity into another tool for power, control, and a bid for supremacy against others. It is an evil disguised as something good, and every day that people are willfully blind to it makes me feel sick to my core. because nothing good comes from this extremism.
I'm not surprised with an activist ruining Godot.🤦♂️ Even though I saw a video like a couple of months ago called "GAME ENGINES and ASSETS are KILLING GAME DEV", I'm not surprised with this situation. I'm still going to become a indie game developer one day, and I'll make games with Redot, or make games without any game engine. But I swear to God, if normies decides to start ruining 3d programs (like Blender, 3DsMax, and Cinema 4D), I'm going to go nuclear boss mode! This is why we gotta start gatekeeping hobbies and 3d programs from the wrong kinds of people!
I'm too tired to try to explain, but "gatekeeping" is not the answer and only gives them the fuel they're so used to using and dependent on. It goes way back, they were accusing everyone of doing it when they weren't, making it real would only empower them, and push them into wanting to push back more. It's a stupid feud situation where both sides don't want to stop being stupid first, because the other is "so bad". Aside from that, there are plenty of other engines out there, some open source so they can just be forked, which you don't necessarily even need to do honestly because you don't have to agree with the politics of whoever made the engine (although the Code of Conduct may have something to say about excluding certain viewpoints, or people with certain viewpoints, as far as contributors on the project). But if you're not or only barely interacting with that, and just making a game, you don't really have to worry about it unless there's something weird put into a license that tries to tell you what content your game can have. And finally, before going full-on "making your own engine", which you can, there's an in-between easier route of using a game library rather than engine (harder than using an engine, easier than making your own). (That said, sure don't let them infect and take over and commandeer things they don't even care about just to put their politics above all else and try to force it on others, without due discussion.)
11:17 As a non American developer who uses Godot I couldn't agree more. People going on about radical leftist and the far right crowd. In my country none of that means a damn thing. I just wanna make and play games without activists just ruining it for us.
What happened to automatic deduction of pronouns? If you're male, your pronouns are he/his. If you're female, your pronouns are she/her. This tacet rule covers surely 99.9% of people.
Was worried about the backlash, after it happen they basically begged people to comeback with an unban link. The issue is it looks like they were favorable to cm when they suspended and denied they worked for them.
The true advantage of open-source! And why open-source is inherently apolitical. Everyone can contribute, everything is transparent and if weirdos try to take over the project in order to spread their political messages instead of helping to advance the project then just make a fork of the existing source code. Great news!

The "revenge forks never last" thing only applies when your fork doesn't have the original devs and the original fork has enough normie recognition that they'll keep a large user base even after the disaffected people leave. Redot has the original devs, Godot isn't at the point that it's established enough to risk pissing off its users either. Redot will win this.
Redot is not a revenge fork either. They say they have been considering the fork for awhile. It's more about features and bugs than politics. As it should be.
well godot isnt a company and i'm pretty sure most of these people are self imposed moderators/ community managers and dont actually get paid. So whos going to fire them
Also the guy in charge generally agrees with them, by the sounds of it. He's made some statements that get quoted, and I've heard people can get banned in some places for repeating them. It doesn't seem taken out of context, his stance is that it's a private platform and so there's no need for free speech and they can boot whoever they like to make it just them and theirs (and they call that "inclusive")
4:40 Yeah, it's all about the platform for them, it's not about the medium at hand. I kind of identified this was going to become a problem years ago when I first wrote a post on a forum (deleted, so good luck), about "How do you write a story for a game, movie, or tv show, or even a book; without somehow including anything political or philisophical that will not offend someone else." It was basically a question to the masses, because during my time researching how I want to make my game in the years prior and still now to this day... I have been struggling with this concept for a while. Here's the problem, for those who don't get it. Essentially no matter what kind of game you make where there is a character to control and a story to progress through, there will be at some point or another, a moment where you will have to make a choice. And that choice will have connotations to it, consequences, conundrums. Sometimes its straight forward. Othertimes it's not so straight forward. Sometimes it can get quite twisted and will put armchair philosophers into nightmare mode. It should be said that some developers/publishers do handle this rather well, leaving things in a more nuanced open space where basically almost any possible situation can be explored, for better or worse. But then, there are those who don't. There are those who basically try to shoehorn their own morality into things, whether they realize it or not. I want to make some examples, but due to the incredibly subjective nature of some of the choices in these games, I will stay my hand. Let's leave it at, some do it better, some do it worse. But these are all generally being made by people who aren't 'trying' to shoehorn their own opinions in as moral fact or fiction or whatever. Usually, this is just whatever they believe to be true or false, and they go with that. And so we get some who do it better, and some who do it worse. And then there are these folk, who just wish to take over the platform. They do not struggle with this question at all, because they are not even cognizant that they need ask it at all in the first place of themselves. How can you struggle with a concept when you can't even conceive it? This is the problem I ran into on that forum. I found that most of those people who responded (not all), were exactly this sort. They couldn't conceive the notion that it would be a problem to shoehorn their own ideologies into the games they were making. They never conceived the notion that, perhaps, they might be wrong. So single minded were they, that they couldn't handle the concept that perhaps they didn't know best. Those people, if not exactly those people, but people like them, are the ones trying to take over the medium as if it is a platform. But, there's a problem here too. They technically aren't wrong. All media, is a platform, technically. The platform is not exactly provided ahead of time, you have to build it yourself so to speak, but it is a platform for the ideas and opinions of the developers who made the game and created the story involved, if there is one. The nuance here is that games that have no story at all, kind mostly side step this issue of morality and politics and philosophy. But if there is a story, you are probably going to run into this problem, on some level. If anyone needs an example to why it is a platform despite being a medium, just look at radio and books for starters. When you get 'pulled off the air', you've been deplatformed radio style. When your book is banned, regardless of legitimacy, you are being 'deplatformed' by those who despise your book. If your show is cancelled, you are being deplatformed from TV. If your movie is reviewed horribly and basically treated like trash by everyone who dislikes it; once again deplatformed. Games are no different in this manner. So they see the medium as being both what it is, and isn't; whether we like them for doing it or not. (I do not) But then, what about the answer to the problem in the question? How do you avoid it? The input of ones own opinions and morality, philosophy, etc, into their games story or even elements of the game itself? *Shrugs*... you don't? I mean, heck, even when a person tries to not do that... you might still accidentally give the impression of having done that. This is where I will use an example of a game I can think of. Fallout, particulary 3 and onwards by Bethesda. There are many choices that can be made in those games, that may or may not be as accurately depicted as the developers originally intended. Heck, they might believe things otherwise, but were told to include those elements anyways. Etc. Probably the best example of this, though there will be others undoubtedly, is Tenpenny Tower from FO3. The residents, are absolutely bigotted towards Ghouls, and some might even call them "racist" towards Ghouls. but The ghouls did prove them right... when they finally got into Tenpenny Tower and yeeted everyone. Their biggest fear, was that. That they would go feral, or be violent essentially. But the entire game, the lone wanderer is treated like they are a good person with good morals for basically completely ignoring what turned out to be legitimate fears of the Tenpenny Tower residents. And sure, they absolutely do come off as some of the worst people in the wasteland. But they were right. Now a question. Is that Bethesda devs imposing their morality? Is them trolling the player? Is them not realizing they are wrong? Is it all the above? Or none? Now let's look at the game engine side of things. These are the people making the engine. They, probably, feel like they should have some say in what kind of games their engine is used for, since they might not like what other developers might make from said engine. But, do they have that right at all? If games can be a platform for ideas, then are the engines not the tools with which the platform is built? Since they can't control the developers of the games via their games directly, as proven via... other situations I won't name here to avoid being spammed by idiots... They instead go after the tools which the platform is made from. Are they right to do this? Perhaps not, for many reasons. But, there are perhaps some things that perhaps they would be right about as well, if those things were actually their issue at hand. But they aren't. They're focused on things that mostly affect no one, most people don't agree with them on, and are generally wrong about. If they were correct, that would maybe change things in their favour. But they so often aren't, they probably would fail to prove themselves justified if they ever were correct. Much like Peter and the Wolf. As for me, and my game I want to make... That whole problem is a side issue for me now mostly, but it does pop its head up from time to time when trying to craft a new idea for a game that might be worth releasing. But I run into a new problem. Someone else makes a game so similar to that idea, that I scrap it, because I don't want to deal with the potential legal issues of being seen as a copy cat. Last thing I want is some company like Nintendo breathing down my neck. And so I am still at it, trying to come up with a game story that will work, that doesn't just immediately annoy all the dolts, while being entertaining enough for the rest who aren't dolts to be worth releasing in the first place. Because what is a game that has a story, if it isn't a good one? A bad game.

I'm a teenager asking this genuinely: Was there *really* & honestly ever a time politics wasn't the center of news, pop culture, and conversations? My brain can't even imagine that kind of world... What was it like? Was it more boring than it is today?
There was a time nobody knew who their neighbor voted for, or even if they voted at all (I never have, and I'm 48). There was a time nobody knew what the others did in the privacy of their bedrooms; now, they shout it from the rooftops and expect people to celebrate their choices, and if you don't you can get fired from your actual job. There was a time women and "minorities" were stars of movies and TV series, and nobody advertised it as anything special. Yes, things were quite different. The scene of the world is changing.
Before social media, before 24/7 news channels -- yes, your mind had time to catch a breath. I'd say things started really noticeably getting worse around 2014.
Yes and it was so much better because when people argued in fandoms it was only ever about which character is better or which theory is right and so on. People could actually enjoy or hate things without being called ists and phobes. Instead at worst you'd be called an idiot and then everyone would move on with their lives.
Yes, it was a fantastic time to be alive. Weirdos weren't screeching if you had an opinion they didn't agree with. We went outside and got hurt, but it was a blast. Riding bikes, playing impromptu sports with your friends, checking out all of the new tech that came out that year, and families were PRAISED, not loathed. Women weren't all "10s" that needed men that made 6 figures, had a 6 pack and was 6'6". They were FEMININE, respectful, and generally kind. Less really is more, kid. This age of having everything at your fingertips is a curse, not a blessing. It creates spoiled, entitled people who create problems because they don't have any real problems.
Boring? Not really. Things were for sure slower back then since we did not have a screen attaching us to the world near 24/7, but there was more than enough to keep us busy. We touched grass and actually communicated a lot more face to face. I could not even tell you which party most of my friends followed. And for the rest? Sometimes we knew and were nerdy enough to talk about it, but that did not stop us being friends afterward. In mixed race company we even lampooned each other once in while and could laugh about it even if everyone acknowledge their were problems. We had issues like global cooling (yes I am serious - look up the 70s), peak oil / energy shortages, acid rain, get under you school desk nuclear attack drills, etc, etc. Even then we had a much more optimistic view of the future and assumed we would figure it out. Mixed results there tbh, but that was the vibe. Heck half my neighborhood did not even lock their doors at night until the late 80s, and if someone bumped my car while I shopped their were decent odds I would find contact info under my wiper (it happened once, and once not) . And yes I fully get why that is not so easy to do now with nihilism, tribalism, low trust society and dim economic prospects so wide spread. Was their politics? And dirty politics at that? Yup. But it was like tuned to a 3 and you would engage with it around elections or some major event, otherwise it was in the background unless your job revolved around it I suppose.

The biggest problem with Godot is that the engine was updating at a snail’s pace. The reason that management isn’t involved is because they don’t care.
With a slow pace, at the least the forks won't have to worry too much from increasingly different implementations as they drift apart

The way they treated their supporters is disgusting...

Its social media should be EXCLUSIVELY about upcoming releases and technical information. PERIOD.
Nobody is stopping these activists from doing their activism ON THEIR OWN TIME. On their OWN ACCOUNTS. I have to point out that being a media manager DOES NOT MEAN you own the account.
Not to mention you have to train any hire on your specific engine, instead of advertising for experience with Godot, specifically.
@@jamesgollinger208 Yeah that's true too!

I'm not surprised with an activist ruining Godot.🤦♂️
Even though I saw a video like a couple of months ago called "GAME ENGINES and ASSETS are KILLING GAME DEV", I'm not surprised with this situation.
That image of the community manager is exactly what I expected.

Seems like the moment someone gets a position like a community manager. It's their time to be in the spotlight and "demand" others to do whatever.
4:40 Yeah, it's all about the platform for them, it's not about the medium at hand.
I kind of identified this was going to become a problem years ago when I first wrote a post on a forum (deleted, so good luck), about "How do you write a story for a game, movie, or tv show, or even a book; without somehow including anything political or philisophical that will not offend someone else."
It was basically a question to the masses, because during my time researching how I want to make my game in the years prior and still now to this day...
(I do not)
But then, what about the answer to the problem in the question?
The residents, are absolutely bigotted towards Ghouls, and some might even call them "racist" towards Ghouls.
but
The ghouls did prove them right... when they finally got into Tenpenny Tower and yeeted everyone.
A bad game.
