Very nice ! Your choice of exterior and interior colors are my fav as well. I've watched several other videos already, and it sounds like it drives so much better (and quieter) than the competition, and range is close to advertised. Does an adapter get you in to charge at Superstations ?
Yep, those range videos is what pushed me to buy it. So far so good. Yes, you can charge at certain Tesla chargers with the magic docks. No all though...hopefully road trip it soon.
PS, it's crazy quiet and so ridiculously easy to drive. Very interesting vehicle to say the least.

Sammy. Just change the 12v to a LFP one. It's the main weakness with the Korean EVs. Our 2022 Ioniq 5 just had a 12V lead acid replaced.

Right, and they fly under the radar! I just so happened to see Kyle's range tests from Out of Spec. He really liked it.
I'm looking at one of these right now. Two of my concerns are the no spare in most EVs and the 12-volt system in Kia EV models in particular. I too live in a cold climate, and wondered if you have had any issues with the 12-volt battery going dead? As you might guess, this is my first EV, I am 73, but this vehicle is very intriguing to me. I have enjoyed your videos, thanks.
Thanks! There was a software update doe the 12 voltage battery, and with the warranty I didn't worry.

One of the Kia dealers near me tried to add 10k on top of sticker for ev6. This was before Covid
Hard pass on that...dealers shouldn't be doing that. Now they will never earn your business even at MSRP.
Yeah there were some good dealers just charging MSRP, so now if wanna buy a Kia I’ll just have to drive 4 hours to Dallas😂. It’s gonna have to be a real sexy Kia.

I am interested to buy one but what pull me back is the charging network. I have already 2 electric cars(CCS) and I know is how to be at the charger and don't charge or charge at very slow speed. Tell us about the consumption, the range, in special for long trips. For this vehicle probably the most interesting think is the range and the charging speed. This is a long distances SUV so we need the information.
Thank you for the feedback! I'll try to hit some chargers here soon and get that detail in! I too was worried about the fast charging, but some of the initial reviews looked good. Kyle from out of spec did a great one.
@@SammyGeek Kyle was driving the car until was dead which is not a situation I want to be in. More realistic is close to 10% or so. I want to know if we can trust the guessometer...Thanks for presenting your car to us, it is indeed an awesome one.

With an adapter I belive...but haven't tried.
Got EV9 wind and bought J1772 adapter from Amazon. Charges very well with Tesla home charger with that adapter.
App any better or worse?
Tesla app is much more refined, but Kia app is not bad! I'll cover that in my video, hopefully this weekend!
