Basically he said India will buy oil from the cheapest source whether it’s Russia or elsewhere, and India will not bow down to unilateral sanctions which are meant to harm India either directly or indirectly

If India didn't buy affordable Russian energies due to sanctions, would it mean "they" can break both Russia/India simultaneously? Russia would have not revenues from energies while India would struggle with inflation due to high energy price. What a strategy!

    • @philosopherfrombed

The people who mocks India are mostly from USA, because USA and Americans sees themselves as if they are protecting Ukraine and that they are flagbearer of freedom, while in reality world outside of US knows that US is using this war to weaken Russia bcoz it satisfies American interests what happens to war torn Ukraine is not a concern of American policy and decision makers.
Regardless, India is an independent nation and should keep working to satisfy her interests, in most cases our try should be that fulfilling of India's interests are not harmful for others, that is all.

India is in BRICS and yet wants to be a big power in the Western alliances. It is not going to happen. India can stay in the middle trying to be a friend to everyone and continue to be an average country. The only plus in dealing with India is that they have the world's biggest population.
