I wish they had made the traiin a cliickable rabbit hole where they could theoretiically "ride" the train to another town. Or just go for a ride. I also think it could have been so so cool iif they had made gold panniing/ mining a thing. The Sulani beach combiing animation could even be reused if they didnt want to add a pan, and gold mining in the river would have been a super fun Cowboy like activity to give ya another world "activity". I was thiinking of several things you could easily add without actually adding more (or much more) to just add some activities.
I should say-- I thnk the thing the SIms 4 Always Rocks -- Is beautiful , stunning amazing worlds! Just a thought though..... Its a game though. So ya know, maybe more actual Gameplay. Otherwise, its kinda just Art.
Dreadhorse Caverns definitely should have been featured in the gameplay livestream. They should have also set up a weekly community event in New Appaloosa’s town center so there would be times that NPCs had a reason to gather there and fill the town. Maybe a horse meeting event so you could introduce horses to each other for breeding purposes. It’s pretty, but that gets old when there’s nothing to do to make you actually explore
I actually love the world in this pack. That 64X64 lot will be my new home.

Yeah that’s a neat touch. So no pressure to try and fit the obstacle courses on your lot if you don’t want to
It should be renamed the Ghost town EP. There are so many missed opportunities in this pack. That huge rabbit hole equestrian center could have been a multi purpose shared Equestrian center like growing together's community lot. They could have had races for nectar and prices. The cavern could have tiny isolated cave areas where cliff climbing, swimming and discovering treasure clues about lost native cultures as in jungle adventures. White water rafting in the gully river. So many possible things that they could have done using already made assets like rock climbing swimming and repackage the jungle adventure assets to make new adventures caverns.

Sounds like Arizona.. We go months and months without rain at times. It's more than just warmer.. It's hot.. Today it's 115 degrees.

And they could have added a "Ghost town" spot on map where its like a run down building or home where Ghost might tend to linger. Or a ghost horse that has some secrets or all kinds of fun. Even iif it was like Werewolves tunnnels where you go in but just click a few diffferent outcomes. I know they have a cave. But just more to do.
Thanks for the overview on this world. It looks so beautiful I'm going to explore it when I get my copy later today. I liked the fact that we have another world to find some collectables it's one of my favorite things to do. THe cave interaction looks like fun too. I can't wait to play it. MC Skeleton is giving the vibe of the shenanigans we used to expect from the Sims. It's a shame we can't actually meet him, that would be a fun NPC character.
The world is much nicer than I expected or looked like in some of the renders. They are great at pretty worlds! I was also surprised by the build buy. Am still a little disappointed just in some missed opportunities and even another game play object like the bull riding or even a sew saw verse another dollhouse for kids but overall, I admit it looks better than it seemed! Thanks for the tour!
Thanks for the tour! I am surprised by the 'undersell' of this pack. The gurus seemed so nervous and unhappy on the "live"stream, waiting until it was 'too late' to show us the most basic components, that I almost decided to never buy this pack. And I love horses! Thanks for a much better picture of this pack!
that cave system is cool they said the gurus had fun with it like D&D so dose that mean there will be a dragon in the cave!!! that would be so awesome lol!
Haven’t seen a dragon…but there’s a T-Rex!? Apparently dinosaurs aren’t extinct in The Sims 4, that surprised me

dang i wish that they told us about swimming areas because i never know about any of it!! i would never figure it out myself if i didnt find out from somewhere.
They did but it was very brief since it’s only that one small area 😅
They did when they showed off the canyon area with a rainbow in the gameplay “livestream”. It was very brief as iron seagull mentioned.
@@ashleybee1393 ohhh. i was talking about in game indications... i didnt watch the livestream. i know not everyone will either. in game indicators that something is swimable like an icon on the neighborhood, you know?

This world is so beautiful! I'm hoping the town will get a bit busier once I fill some of the houses with my own Sims.1 thought I had is that it would have been nice if you could rent horses for a day. Otherwise the rental lot seems a bit useless, imho.

They did, but not much. Say mentioned in passing. They said that the D&D gamers in their crew had a lot of fun with the cave and its exploration. But that's all!

I guess many people haven’t heard of very sparse or dying towns in America. I’m employed by the U.S. Department of Labor and travel quite often for work. I’ve been to places like Sidney, Montana and Wind River, Wyoming where the towns are just as sparse/dead as in the Sims 4 Chestnut Ridge. So this simulation is VERY REAListic in terms of little population.

I don’t think people want dead or dying towns without people to interact with or things to do in a life simulation game…I mean if you do this pack sounds perfect for you.

The gurus often say how they put a "secret" in the world only for their to be literally nothing in the world of interest. However the cave does seem interesting, I suspect it to be rather shallow, but it is certainly a step in the right direction when it comes to adding something to a dead world.

What good is a bridge you can not go over? What are you doing EA.. you need to fix that and make that bridge so people and horses can cross over it.. that is really LACK LUSTER..
Yeah that covered bridge is a head scratcher.. maybe it just can't be ridden on, but can be walked across.. it must be that. Maybe too low for horse and rider. Still a pretty bad oversight to make it that way.

While expansion content for the Sims 4 has always been lacking... it's been getting worse.
People have too much love for the Sims and there's just no competition yet.. it's sad because they don't put enough effort into it.. they could add so much more and they just drain all your guys money.. milking you all like a cash cow.. lol
