Exquisite performance of this great Beethoven quartet! The Dover Quartet have certainly proved to be one of the greatest around at the moment . They are amazing !

And that *the status you feel compelled to give your favorites matters to **_YOU ALONE,_* and has ZERO bearing on anyone else’s favorites?? And that *there is no objective measure to rate works of art??* My goodness!
Just beautiful. Lovely acoustics in that room. I hear things I never hear in other recordings. Superb musicianship. An otherworldly piece of music. Profundity Itself.

Yes, too slow for a scherzo/laendler style movement. But the other movements are amazing!
