If there ever is an re-adaptation, I would like it to be monochromatic or have a lot of shading with a dark atmosphere or an atmosphere that changes with the mood of the story.
It's actually run by a different studio much smaller then the beserk 2016 creators but by no means is this one person's doing. This is mostly moving images over backgrounds. The problem with Beserk is that its so well detailed that it would costs upwards of 10s of millions to make a fully detailed anime about it, hence why they did it in CGI

They were all hand drawn aswell which would take months for episodes and years for a full series. I'm not trying to defend 2016 berserk but you can't compare it to the 97 ova which was made in the golden age of animation.
