Hi i have problem to my SUV Rogue 2015 i hearded Squeling noise to my belt tensioner but its like a 30 second and the squeling is gone..and what is the best tensioner belt for my SUv..thanks.
Im replacing the wheel only of the tensioner pulley assembly. Have removed old damaged wheel with the 14m bolt through the centre, when installing new wheel the centre bolt does not have anything to bite into (is spinning freely, not tightening) any help anyone?? Cheers
my tensiner make noise when you engage the gear. its automatic gear box. whether you engage D or R. but its when you start to move. once you re moving the noise stops. when you start the engine and you dnt move the noise does not come on.
But you missed the most important part, how to lose the bolts from the tensioner pulley, I have a problem losing one bolt, I don't have enough space, what tool did you use to remove the bolt from the tensioner pulley on a Nissan Maxima 2010, please let me know, thank you.
Hello, I don't think that I have missed how to lose the bolt from the tension pulley unless you have skipped parts of the video, you can watch from time 3:22 and you will see how I did losing the bolt. I have used double box end spanner with offset handles to improve access to bolt.
what if you break a belt and you replace it with the same kind of belt and it dont fit because thr tension is not pulling back far enough to pull over pulley. This my problem with my 2012 Nissan Maxima
The tension should pull back and you will cut the current belt without be able to move the tension pulley probably, then you won't be able to install the new belt. Maybe your model has a locker bolt or nut to limit the tension pulley from moving wide range!

To replace the new tensioner pulley, we only have to make sure that: 1. we align the needle and, while we hold it in that position, 2. we screw the tensioner bolt counterclockwise with the right tension (i.e., 40 Nm)? It's that easy?!
I'm not so sure, it could be just the drive belt has a loose tension. You also need to identify the source of the noise as it could be completely something else
