- A young waitress finds a napkin that says "HELP" on the restaurant floor. Terrified, she tries to find the victim and the abuser among the clients. However, the place is full of people, such as a strict boss with his wife, a young woman with an aggressive boyfriend, and a suspicious adult man with a little girl. Which one is the offender? I’m an emergency room nurse by training- you would be amazed at how many patients we get who have been abused- I don’t tolerate it in my personal life, and I sure as hell won’t tolerate it in my professional life- my wife is a surgeon and has operated on many abuse victims- it is never easy and no it does not ever get better- the worst is when they don’t make it- so ty because this is so important

What irritates ( I can think of stronger words) me is the ones you try to help and in the end they refuse to press charges only to continue to be abused.
Am a doctor as well , i do get these victims but most of the times in India they dnt complaint against these abusive partners . I try to counsel them to report such cases get legal aid they jus refuse most of the times n it later becomes habitual . So much so tht few ppl commit suicide n v end up doing their autopsies.

I thought so..look at the first women's behaviour
But there was a girl with a cop who have bruises on her knees, but we aren't sure of the whole story because the cop captured the boss at the end, so it might not be him physically abusing her daughter. She could have gotten hurt at karate, or the dad is just saying things to scare her but not actually do it, and the boots said that her wife had a little affair so she could have with the cop's Dad and abused the cop's child, or kids in the school bullied her badly and blackmailed her, so we don't know the full story.

I almost skipped past this because I was afraid it would trigger me and I'll admit my heart is still pounding. I lived it. I survived it and I thank God and my mom that I got out of it alive. I hope you'll keep putting videos like this out there. It's crucial to help victims of domestic violence get out any way they can because we all know that's when most of us are killed...when we try to leave. Thank you.

I actually had a feeling that it would be the wife of the boss but that got intense... but it was an amazing story and I really have high respect for Vanessa for trying to help the victim... although I'm glad that it didn't turn out worse than it did, like anyone getting injured even badly during all that... and I'm glad that the woman could be saved

When people ask why do the victims keep staying in the relationship, why they don't walk away, why they don't press charges....they should be asking ' Why does the abuser keep abusing? Why doesn't the abuser walk away? I'll tell you why, because a huge percentage of domestic violence abusers are nothing but rotten, narcissistic and controlling sociopaths. I'm a victim and survivor of domestic violence and know first hand it wasn't easy to walk away. You live in their mental prison for life, long after you walk away, if you get the chance to, that is. Having children to them makes it worse. Narcissistic people don't always show who they are early on in the relationship. They usually wait and then trap you mentally and emotionally.

The napkins with "Help Me " was the hint that this lady was in trouble. The abuser should have thought thoroughly his strategy, now wants to stiff the waitress? He will be heading to jail for this, it really is too messed up!!!

Not always. Some only get an over night in jail or just short couple days in psych ward.
Although this is a story I do believe that these abusers deserve a good hiding in a Police cell.

The villains on this show are a real piece of work. What self-righteous delusion makes them think they have the right to do this to others, and yet they act like they were the ones who were wronged when they are foiled and exposed for who they are.

I'm so happy how the abuser was caught and took to jail. I was abused both physically and mentally by my first husband. I thank God he walked out on me and our children and I divorced him. Things got bad as our children grew up he took them away from me.

There have been real life Dateline and 48 Hour TV Shows that ended badly for women that stayed 1 day too long. Don't be one of them 🙏🏻

This was superbly done like for a moment i thought it was movie. I have seen some many short films like this but this one felt like a movie kudos to the team for the work. And abuse is not normal please report to the police if anything happens like this
My ex-husband called me last night and I told him what for! He actually listened and so much of my anger went away. I feel so very free! We have been divorced 10 days now. I have told him all this stuff before but he didn’t listen. I told him that I am not going to take being treated like I’m nothing anymore. I have the annulment paperwork but haven’t filled it out yet.

Give me 5 minutes with the man who abuses his wife, I'll show him what happened if a woman is a victim of an abuse, I won't tolerate it, no woman should be a victim of an abuse, you know ladies and gentlemen, there's a program in my country UAE that helps woman to defend themselves some women took self-defense courses and it made a great progress I remember back in 2018 a woman almost got abused by her ex-boyfriend but the woman is brave, she beats him with her kickboxing skills, thanks to the program in the gym. As for her ex-boyfriend he spends 12 years in prison

I honestly thought that the abuser was the guy with the little girl because of the bruises on her leg, the gun, etc
Don’t forget the fact that he wouldn’t even let her get something to eat. Like he didn’t even offer her something else he just straight out told her she couldn’t eat
I knew it's the boss. Because he tried to make Vanessa ignoring the message. And some abuser knew how to make the victim to look happy. And most abuser didn't look like abuser. They smile, looks kind, and maybe have good reputation
