I had a rather bad stutter for a while in elementary school and I had a speech therapist who actually helped me to cure it with her own unique video and methods (She was an absolute Angel) :)
She had a large special dice with her that showed the positioning of the tongue and lips for the different letters/sounds. She also used 8 key words: Apple, Egg, Igloo, Ostrich, Umbrella, Yellow, Dry & Lucky :)
For the first 5 A, E, I, O & U she would have me say that sound for a prolonged period of time. I got to learn the different between how E sounded vs I and O vs U since they are relatively similar than the 3 different ways Y can sound :)
After that, we went onto the prolonged sounds of each of the other letters :)
The dice was used to help with the sound of each letter and she had a slow motion video (VHS) showing the mouth and tongue saying each letter (Starting with the 8 mentioned above) in slow motion to show the movements clearly (I think it was at 1/4 speed or something like that). The mouth was make to look kind of see through so that you could clearly see the tongue as well and the video repeated each letter around 20 times I think :)
Anyways, I hope that this helps your friend (If he is still dealing with this) and please feel free to share this information with as many people as you like, cause at least for me anyways, this changed everything :)

I love when people talk. Because I just love listening to what they say and everything and I don't care if they stutter. They'll be a lot of times where I stutter and where I don't think. Feel clearly about what I say but sometimes I do. But the only time when I stutter the most really bad is because of some of the pills that take. I have ADHD and there will be on occasions where my pills they were affect my speech like I will stutter and I feel like I can't even like me in my mouth or anything. I'm starting to tear up saying about this but don't be a lot of times where I feel like where I try to say something and I can't say it. I just have to force it out. But just one thing is don't judge a book by cover and don't judge the way a person talks because you never know on what the person is capable of. And if anybody is reading my message or anything. Let me say this is that you are wonderful the way you are. Do not change the way you look. You are beautiful inside and out no matter what God has made you for what you are. He made you for a reason

This is one of my favorite videos. The actor that plays the concierge is an excellent veteran actor of DramatizeMe and she does an exceptionally good job at this role as the antagonist. I must be shallow, because I could not muster indignation at her role and in the end I felt sorry for her character. No matter how nasty and rude her character was, I could not must an ounce of outrage. That shows how well I am positively disposed to all of the characters she has played in the past. By the end of the video when it was reveled her character was a nervous stutterer, my heart went out for the character, especially as she played sadness and despair in the final scene. What an acter!!. What really had my heart leaping into my throat for joy was that my favorite female character actor, who reminds me of Kate Winslet was in this video and she played a very compassionate, kind, understanding character. I love her. With these two in the video, I could not help but love this video. Of course the actor that played the stutterer was great at his role and was indispensable for the video. I have to thank you DramatizeMe for producing this video with two of my favorite actors in the lead antagonist and lead supporting actors. ThankYou! I love your channel.

This is interesting.I can relate a bit. It’s not that I stutter so much when I talk. It’s just that people always interrupt when I want to finish my sentences & that really pains me in several ways, believe me.But one day,I’m sure I’ll be successful despite my flaws of my struggle to get people to listen to me.I have a friend who stutters sometimes as well but he still has good job, working in an international company. This means it doesn’t matter if you have disabilities even if it’s a minor one. What matters is your efforts in doing whatever u can do in order to achieve success. That’s what matters in life & in the end you’ll become inspiration to others who have suffered the same way as anyone with disabilities to motivate them.

James Earl Jones, whom you may know for voicing Darth Vader and Mufasa, had a stutter in childhood! In fact, in early childhood, he never spoke in public, only to animals (since they never actually understood that much). In high school, he had to recite an essay of his for a skeptical teacher who would otherwise think he plagiarized his essay, simply because it was well-written, and he was a stutterer.
Anyway, I hope Patricia gets fired for discrimination without *ever* blaming Christopher!
And, I paraphrase from Dhar Mann, when you stutter, it means what you say is worth repeating.
Anyway, I'm gonna laugh and make fun of Patricia for her defeat! Ha ha ha ha ha! :P That's for stutter-shaming!

Srikanth Bolla is an Indian Industrialist, not only he is blind since birth but also doesn't have any eyes. But he didn't let his disability come on the road of his dreams. He is the founder of Bollant Industries and the first International Blind Student of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.👍👍👍👍👍

There's something more to this story. Patricia is the one that suffers the most! She hates herself, or at least "the stuttering part" of herself and this is the worst thing that can happen. Lack of healthy self-love and self-acceptance can lead to hate, frustration and pain. It can destroy not only you, but also your relationships with other people.
Here, in the story Patricia was able to overcome her speaking difficulty (at least in everyday siruations) but had still thought that she's inferior because of her stuttering problems in the past. That's why she wasn't able to see a human instead of a stutter in Christopher. You would think that knowing the problem she should be supportive and understanding... unfortunatelly anger and resentment took the upper hand. This way Patricia let her hatered and low self esteem rule over her actions and relationships with other people. Self-hatered turned her into a rude, disrespectful person...
Christopher can be happy with his life, even though he has to experience rejection and humilation from others from time to time - because he has accepted himself and knows his real worth. On the other hand, Patricia cannot be really happy, because she carries the hatered, the pain and anger inside of her. She doesn't love herself, she thinks of herself as an interior human being.... This must be a really terrible experience: to live every day with this kind of attitude...

And I also loved that last girl Donna who chatted with Christopher and didn't care about the stutter like she could've been that sweetest person to have in your life who cares about personality and that's what I love too 😁and lol about that lady which karma hit her back by stuttering too 😂 so that's it and thank you for replying to me again I enjoy your stories or your life-changing drama episode ❤

When i was in school from elementary all the way yo high-school i got bullied for being fat, i got bullied so bad , i got my stuff taken away or broken apart , i got bit up all the time and i was so a shame and so scared i never stud up for my self, i were to tell a teacher o the Counselor the bully would go back at me and beat me up over and over again an no one ever dis anything to help, unfortunately i grew up an went to school in Mexico were apparently mo one speaks up because nobody does anything nor care about the students, teachers don’t teach, they just Warm up they’re sits and drink coffee all day , until one day i stoped caring and started ditching school , until i finally left school , I ended up working in super market for 35 dlls a week as that was min wage in Mexico , than i quit and started helping my uncle run his business at a swapmeet selling clothes, time passed and eventually i found a job at a fabric washing hospital clothing sheets and blankets , i disnt like it so i quit one again , all that happened in california , those few jobs, so i went back to México and worked in call centers a few years until i had the opportunity to live in california and got a job at a local fast food franchise, i worked there for 2 and half years till i became RGM and they sent me to school to study business administration, and today i hold that title were i currently make decent money for living , i know i mentioned i quit school but i did finish high school in an adult school
In hanford , as i was working my way up in the fast food franchise , so thats my story.
P.S. never give up on your dreams👍💪
