Well done to you and all the new Moms! All the babies look amazing. That was hilarious to see the piglets running around the barn like a tiny gang taking over the place, lol! I'm totally jealous of your sweet peas they look incredible. Great to see you in better spirits and enjoying the sunshine.
I love that you'll be giving herbs for summer solstice. To save a penny consider making pots out of newspaper or even old magazines. For the event, I would make up all the newsprint pots in advance and swap them out days before the event, as the newsprint is strong enough to survive a few waterings, they can start to look rather dingy and tattered. Ask around, you'll be surprised how many people still get the paper delivered. I'm sure your co-op subscribers will be willing to contribute to your cause. They're easy to make by watching a video and it's something you can do in the evenings. I mean how "country" to get an herb in a paper pot! 💖🌞🌵😷
Great idea - my parents still get papers and they save them for me for lining hutches etc. Can definitely make some paper pots up!

Awk how lovely are the bacon bits! Piglets are the cutest things! I really would like ducklings somewhere on my land but I don't have a pond... Yet. Solstice thing? I wanna be there too. What a great idea!
Don't need a pond! They're very happy with a paddling pool/sand pit etc. And yes - 4 day Solstice event in June with storyteller, camping, gong back, meditation etc. Still planning

I never went through labour, period pains are bad enough. Typical for a man to tell the sow in labour to "lay down and rest and relax". If your body wants to move to relieve the pain then you move around! Sunshine yesterday and today after 2 awful days this week, I hope we have a few dry days now!
Yes please for dry days! She wasn't technically in labour at that point - just nesting but I suppose things were stirring inside too! 😂
😂😂😂 I thought the exact thing and gave Geoff a virtual bop on the nose 😂 ‘not technically in labour’ is a favourite saying of maternity units when you turn up in excruciating pain and they are full to capacity 😂. At least you didn’t suggest a warm bath and a paracetamol 😂
