I go to the dealership because they had a good-priced oil change/tire rotation package, and they wanted $90 to replace the two filters! Um, no. $20 on Amazon and maybe 10 minutes of labor got it done. This video was really helpful. Thank you!
Thank you! This was a tremendous help - saved me about $75 doing it myself rather than letting the dealer do it for me, and it was just as easy as you made it look in the video.
Thank you!!! Omg! Firestone was gonna charge me almost 100.00 for the filters and a break light! Tuh! I've done everything else now the cabin filter last! Much appreciated!
Great video! have done mine a few times, but I like to watch your videos. Keep the " Language" going, obviously these people that complain have never worked on a vehicle before. I invent new " Language" when I have to work on the new cars compared to old and easy, but these filters both change out really easy.
Friends you have shown very good. Thank you. If you dont mind to suggest one thing that you can add is just Torch light. there was lil dark to see when you were changing cabin filter inside.
What is wrong with my A/C sometimes when i start it it will not blow any Cold Air then maybe at park and Restart it blows ice cold air.2016 Elentra 35000miles.
All very clear. My problem is mice getting into the cabin and engine air filters. Where can I install steel wire mesh to keep them out? Knowing that would be REAL HELPFUL. BTW 2011 and 2009 Elantras. Thanks
I bought my car about 6 months ago. My car runs perfect but out of no where I started to hear this bubbly, old engine sound, and ticking nose... when I start up my car.
I don’t know how to really describe the knows, I just know that ... that sound wasn’t there when I first bought my car. I bring my car to a local mechanic shop and they run so text for my car and said that my car is fine. No thing wrong
Is it cold outside? It could be the reason. But if the mechanics said it was fine then I would thrust their judgement. You could take it in to the dealer as well, and get a second opinion.
Yeah it’s not cold. Well I went to dealer ship first and they said that it’s something wrong with your oil pan ... that’s what causing the noise. I went to my local shop because they had a deal going on for oil change and since I was there I had him double check if there was anything wrong ... I was told no
Only advice if changing filters and fluids yourself buy factory original parts.Dont try to save money on parts it will end up bad for your car and wallet.

Definitely can save some money by doing it yourself!
It's Brake ,not break.
Great instruction. Thanks for taking time to make this video!

Commentary was hilarious and helpful
Thanks!
Thanks though had to see the instruction inside the glove compartment .
If we do the filter again, we can reshoot that part.
Thank you! If you can add a link to the right filters :) I am trying rockauto but I am confused looking for filters...and/or add the part number?
Depending on your budget, you could pick any of those.
Thanks guys, awesome information great video just missing the light when you change the cabin filter.
We will definitely have to shoot another video where that is much more clear.
Friends you have shown very good. Thank you. If you dont mind to suggest one thing that you can add is just Torch light. there was lil dark to see when you were changing cabin filter inside.
Thank you! We make sure we do.
Great directions!!! You Made It Easy!!! ......Thank you!!
No problem!

Have you recharged the system ever? There may be a refrigerant leak.
Great video! Thanks!
Thanks 😄

That's a hard question to answer because mice would find a way to get in.
Agreed. If I find the smugglers' tunnel, I'll let you know when the secret entrance is.
What do I use for a 2017 Hyundai Elantra? Same thing? What are the products you used?
Refer to your owners manual since 2017 elantra is a bit different than the older generation.
Great directions, thank u guys !!
No problem!
What size cabin air filter and engine air filter did you buy for your 2016 Hyundai Elantra
A site like Rock Auto will show you exactly what you need.
Hello Guys did your 2016 have a old engine sound ?? Before changing the filters?
What do you mean by old engine sound?
I bought my car about 6 months ago. My car runs perfect but out of no where I started to hear this bubbly, old engine sound, and ticking nose... when I start up my car.

Hi who is it that you bought the filters from?
Any auto part store should have them. Or RockAuto.com.
Thank you guys ❤
How many miles on that Elantra?
At the time of the video I think it had around 40,000. You should be changing these filters every year/12k miles.
@@FocusedGarage What's it got on it now for mileage?
Can you give me exact part numbers?
An auto part store will be able to give you exact numbers.
Thanks guys!
+Davina Sims No problem!
Which cabin air filter did you guys use?
All filters were purchased through Rock Auto.
thanks. i payed for both filters like 11 Eur . dealership was asking for 130 for both with work!!!
Thanks! It's almost time to do filters again on this car.
Thank you for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Great video
Thanks!
Y'all had me cracking up... you wanna get all your shit out the glove box and the filter being black as fuck! 🤣🤣🤣
Other dealership wanted to charge me $110 to do this LOLLL thanks guys
+Mr. White happy to help!
Could not see at all . Was too dark to see how to put in the cabin filter .
Sorry about that.
Thanks!!!
Happy to help!!
No one noticed how he joked about not needing the instructions but then proceeds to put it in wrong the first time?
Whoops.
Thanks for the instructions, but the most important part was not visible due to no light.
Can't you use the phone's light, cmon
Sorry about the lack of lighting. For future videos we now have additional lighting. Thanks for the suggestions. -Mike
Only advice if changing filters and fluids yourself buy factory original parts.Dont try to save money on parts it will end up bad for your car and wallet.
This is good advice, however alot of time the OEM parts are just rebranded premium parts supplier parts anyways.
You guys are funny as fuck, but honestly .. very helpful video , cheers
Thanks!
U needed more lighting to show everything u was doing
Sorry, if I get a chance to refilm it, I will.
The Mechanic wanted to charge me 200 dollars to change both.
That mechanic is a POS!
He's probably a Trump hater.
Save yourself the money and DIY!
Too dark in the car to see
Sorry. What step would you like more info on?
Well done. But you would appear dignified without the use of profanity.
+Patricia Devine we are doing our best. Thank you!
Yeah Focused Garage, watch your f*cking mouth! 🤣
Good job though.
Gotta watch what I say 😬
