    I go to the dealership because they had a good-priced oil change/tire rotation package, and they wanted $90 to replace the two filters! Um, no. $20 on Amazon and maybe 10 minutes of labor got it done. This video was really helpful. Thank you!

    Thank you! This was a tremendous help - saved me about $75 doing it myself rather than letting the dealer do it for me, and it was just as easy as you made it look in the video.

    Great video! have done mine a few times, but I like to watch your videos. Keep the " Language" going, obviously these people that complain have never worked on a vehicle before. I invent new " Language" when I have to work on the new cars compared to old and easy, but these filters both change out really easy.

    All very clear. My problem is mice getting into the cabin and engine air filters. Where can I install steel wire mesh to keep them out? Knowing that would be REAL HELPFUL. BTW 2011 and 2009 Elantras. Thanks

    • @FocusedGarage
      @FocusedGarage  6 лет назад

      That's a hard question to answer because mice would find a way to get in.

    Hello Guys did your 2016 have a old engine sound ?? Before changing the filters?

    • @FocusedGarage
      @FocusedGarage  5 лет назад

      What do you mean by old engine sound?

    • @julielaflare5444
      @julielaflare5444 5 лет назад

      I bought my car about 6 months ago. My car runs perfect but out of no where I started to hear this bubbly, old engine sound, and ticking nose... when I start up my car.

    • @julielaflare5444
      @julielaflare5444 5 лет назад

      I don’t know how to really describe the knows, I just know that ... that sound wasn’t there when I first bought my car. I bring my car to a local mechanic shop and they run so text for my car and said that my car is fine. No thing wrong

    • @FocusedGarage
      @FocusedGarage  5 лет назад

      Is it cold outside? It could be the reason. But if the mechanics said it was fine then I would thrust their judgement. You could take it in to the dealer as well, and get a second opinion.

    • @julielaflare5444
      @julielaflare5444 5 лет назад

      Yeah it’s not cold. Well I went to dealer ship first and they said that it’s something wrong with your oil pan ... that’s what causing the noise. I went to my local shop because they had a deal going on for oil change and since I was there I had him double check if there was anything wrong ... I was told no

    • @FocusedGarage

    Only advice if changing filters and fluids yourself buy factory original parts.Dont try to save money on parts it will end up bad for your car and wallet.

    • @FocusedGarage
      @FocusedGarage  6 лет назад

      This is good advice, however alot of time the OEM parts are just rebranded premium parts supplier parts anyways.
