Great build ! For the custom swing arm you made to hold the engine, where the rubber straps are holding it down, measure the frame and custom engine mount bar. Then research to see what size stabilizer bar busher set (from and automobile) fits abs they come.witj the bushing and bracket. You gave me motivation and I'm converting one so I found this to be the best option !
I love these predator 212 engines. I just put one on an old three wheeler but it vibrates the handle bars a little. It’s got some torque though. Thanks for the ideas.
For your pull cord situation, you can drill a hole and feed the pull rope through and then put the handle back on so you won't have to lift the seat anymore. Thank you for this series!
Very cool Sir, I am building almost the same thing right now, having a blast! I bought 1/4'' plate for my motor mount, a bit overkill I know, but your feedback helped a lot.
I don't have anymore. But what I did was I went to the truck and I cut out the piece of the a arm that holds the bottom side of the ball joint I welded that the frame. Then bolted it up to the swing all I built.
Your stuff is so cool. I’m oddly frightened by you for some reason. But I can’t look away. You’re brilliant. But please don’t kill me. I’m a fan after all 😬🙏
Like creepy dude frightening or something else, I'm not creepy in real life, wait, do creepy people know there creepy 🤔 . Pretty sure I'm not that creepy. Must be something else 🤔
I like your work i am rebuilding the same cart right now but it has a g1 transaxle i am thinking im going to pull the trigger on the parts i need for it because of your video
It's in the build video. The engine plate is attached to the rear axle tube with u bolts, then the front of the plate rests on the frame and is held in place with a rubber bungee😂
I have a Harley cart and I'm putting a 18hp Briggs twin might pull a wheelie ? Keep up the channel this is the things I do if you can see my profile pic that is a 82 wheel horse I restored from the weeds.
Hey Chris my name is Tim Williams and I have a mpt 800 and I'm trying to put a 212 in it do you know where I can find a used Torque converter with a pulley on it .
How does it do pulling hills i live in NC and for got a pretty steep drive and wanting to do this to a cart i have but i don't want to do all the work if it won't pull my driveway
It does pretty good, but a little bigger sprocket on the main shaft is easy to do. I hooked it to a utility trailer the other day ( not on the ball, just dragging) and drug it out of the weeds 300' to the road.
I talked to a few different golf cart place in today everybody's telling me to buy a gas card already done because this is a hassle but I think they're just lazy what do you think
A gas cart would be great if you could find one at a good price. I suppose the biggest reason for me building this cart,( other than the video) was cost, I'm still in this one pretty cheap.
Hey Chris I like your channel but I would like to see more of what you do on the farm on a regular day not that I dont like your creative engineering with the 212 engines It would have been fun to see you guys get stuck on that I think you said a culvert while you were riding the golf cart I love the fact you are a Christian and show it just a suggestion I know it must be difficult to come up with new stuff all the time thank you for what you do and your love for GOD
Now i'm looking for an old golf cart... thanks for the reveiw.

I since put rubber bushings on the rod , thanks for watching.

Thanks for the input
Fantastic idea! Thank you!

Thanks, mine has been pretty useful
I built one also and used an old ball joint in the front so it can work all directions. Works like a charm
Can you post a picture of how you used the ball joint? TIA

This is a great build buddy turned out really nice I have some of these same torque converter setup I seen them go up and price as well that’s crazy
Great work I’m going to use some of your ideas on my own golf cart I just got
I like your work i am rebuilding the same cart right now but it has a g1 transaxle i am thinking im going to pull the trigger on the parts i need for it because of your video
I hope you do it, I think you'll be happy with it.
I love these videos! Can you post pictures of just how you did your rear so it could float with your engine? TIA
It's in the build video. The engine plate is attached to the rear axle tube with u bolts, then the front of the plate rests on the frame and is held in place with a rubber bungee😂
You can always put chains on the tires if you don’t want to drop the scratch for the new traptor tires

Cool
Sweet I've got one
Still having issues with it but heyyyyyy
I got it from a junkyard
Really cool
Thanks
I have the same cart with 3/4" plywood covered with spray on bedliner
I have a 3 wheel golf cart.
I gutted the motor to use the shaft and engine case.
Engine plate anchor, sway bar bushing and cap? U bolt?
I love this thing
Thanks
If I ever get a golf cart I'm going to call you so you can walk me through it
axle is sprung ,make engine float w axle not rigid , may not be a solution but my first thought . or rubber bushings to isolate vibration ,Love it
It does float with the rear axle , the rear of the engine plate is " hinged" to the axle

Torque converter with a pulley on it .
Sorry Tim, I do not
Well that what I needed to know.
Looks good
Thanks
What’s your bearing and what’s the top speed? Thanks!
Never mind, I see it was answered!
I bought the smallest 5/8 bore #40 chain sprocket they make, in the coming months I'll install it and do a top speed test.
What size chain is that ?
#40 nickel plated

Where did you order the clutches from and a converter I'd appreciate it
I talked to a few different golf cart place in today everybody's telling me to buy a gas card already done because this is a hassle but I think they're just lazy what do you think
I buy almost all my project parts from eBay.
A gas cart would be great if you could find one at a good price. I suppose the biggest reason for me building this cart,( other than the video) was cost, I'm still in this one pretty cheap.
Mine's been done for about 3 and 1/2 Weeks runs great 18 220 I guess and does everything I needed to do got about total a $850 tied up in it total
Replace the bungee with exhaust rubber hangers. won't come off on its own and it will let it move some.
👍
I'm gonna build me one
That's what I should have done with the electric golf cart I had. That thing could hardly pull itself up a little hill.
I sure am enjoying this one. Thanks for watching
@@ChrisfromKeyfarm my pleasure. You have an awesome channel 👍
Hey that's nice
Thanks
All predators have the shakes no matter how you mount it
Ok, cool

WOW, thank you so much, earlier today I was feeding the donkeys Doritos, look for the video really soon. Thanks for watching
Hey you might want to block that nasty comment on your comment section just porn sights
Go on eBay and search for forward reverse gear box
I've seen them
