Wearing my blue snk now and comparing the two they really dressed this up without increasing cost of manufacturer hardly at all.
So sad it’s a limited edition because that has to be one of the most amazing watch’s I’ve seen in a while
The dial looks nice. $eiko is too stingy to for a Saphhire crystal on a USD200ish Seiko 5.
A little while ago Seiko replaced the SNK line, this is A version of the new watch. It’s a Flieger dial . And it’s available in a couple of different colors. I actually really like this version.

Hi, The Worn & Wound 10th Anniversary Limited Edition is powered by Seiko’s 4R36 automatic winding movement. It is printedon the dial as well.
Really nice color combo! However as you said at 9:17, given their price point these watches should have a sapphire crystal, and the fact that they don’t is why I won’t buy one.
Really like the hands choice and dial! I have not purchased one of their new field watches because I didn’t believe it offered anything better than the SNZG that I own…The price isn’t bad at all. The Other field watches can be had for about 180 so you’re going to pay at least 100 more for this one… But what the heck! Thanks Chris!

I believe the Orient Star Sports Outdoor is a better option. I have the grey dial variant with pvd coating. It features a Sapphire crystal, 100m water resistance with a screwdown crown, also a display caseback, 50hr power reserve with a power reserve indicator. They can be had for around the $400.00 mark. I didn't care for the factory leather strap too much so I wear it on a dark green nato, camo, or green and red striped Bond with pvd hardware. It's my work watch and has been bullet-proof, a great timekeeper, and is also beautiful.
These limited edition Seikos are nice but are already sold out and I've seen listings on ebay for close to double the retail price. I like it but personally don't want one that badly.

Overall a fair price and nice looking. However, I REALLY wished they had done a better execution of the day/date window. As it is, it's a rather large cutout of the lovely dial that stands out. Would have greatly preferred if they had just made this a no day/date dial with a phantom crown position if they weren't going to try and put a Seiko movement that was just time only.
The color combination is not for me, but I appreciate it. They might pour their best efforts to design that watch..
I think it’s a great story, great bunch of guys at W&W, and it seemed to be a great event. Unfortunately, I don’t think the watch looks that good. Seems they were going for a very striking appearance first, a good looking watch second.
Whatever… hype and limited editions are king. They will sell all of them.
I picked one up last night at the event too and its phenomenal, very nice daily driver and love the story behind the collaboration
it looks like the omega seamaster olympics limited edition with the 5 different color dials and straps ( more expensive and more sexy)
I like it! If they were still available I'd happily buy one. Now, that case back gold printing? Sheesh, that's horrible. Luckily few will ever see that.
A white date wheel (keeping the black day wheel) would have perfected this. The Tuna has different color day and date wheels.

I get the choice for this... it just doesn't really do it for me personally, it's a bit 'here nor there' for me.
Also, I believe I don't have anything with the new '5' badge. The 'S' for 'Superman' style '5' looks alright though, but I just deteste the 'Automatic' in that particular font. They need to address that, it's very much in line with the likes of Comic Sans MS... it's reason enough for me to reject their latest watches.
I bought snk807 and 809 a couple years ago for around $50. That to me is in keeping with the spirit of Seiko 5.
