I have the opponents always saying watch out for him. He can move over past the middle keep it away. Then I may move 2-8 times the entire game. But they feel the pressure and make attempts to get as far away as possible.

Thanks. I appreciate this kind of analysis. It's really interesting to hear one of the actual players share his perspective.

I like a lot of what you do Jordan but this is not how to dominate in mixed. My problem is the attack is high, the counter is high and any player at a higher level would have put these balls away. If the girl in white used a one handed back hand out in front she could have easily put that ball down low in the middle. The 2 hander at the net is usually a negative outcome against a one hander with quick hands. Just my opinion.

The ladies Here play 5.0+, and the two guys play pro level in PPA events. Lol

The problem is at rec play intermediate level (3-3.5) it has been my experience that the right court player gets cranky if I become dominant. Stop taking my balls! Why are you poaching so much? It does put pressure on/intimidate the opposing side, too. At least where I play, the social/fun aspect ranks high in why people are there. That's a good reason to play, but it has the effect of hindering game development.

Yes, rec play is way different than pro play.

Ha ha, yeah, where I play you'd get bitch slapped if you pulled that stunt in rec play.

@@BrionesPickleball yup, y'all need one. Apparently the ladies talked it out but the rumor is Jones claims she was called a Bitch...You could also make a show of Riley pushing Jones off the court. Haha...flicked off like a flea.

On a drop there is absolutely no reason the left side player needs to come all the way over to take a ball from the sideline. More pressure can be applied with better court coverage if he doesnt

This actually applies a lot of pressure at higher levels, especially when that player coming over can hit a very offensive ball
