My favorite Grateful Dead lyric of all time is in Unbroken Chain. Phil’s sings, “ “Forgiveness is the key to every door”. Wow, that expands out into every aspect of our lives, Inner and Outer. Also into every bit of societies struggles and possibilities. Love you guys.
These shows were awesome - I had no ideal of Daws and the like. traveled in from ATL starved for music. This did not disappoint.they were really great and true to the music. Very impressive. I would absolutely travel for this again. And the Brooklyn bowl was great - people, venue and sound. really a great trip for this great music. THANK YOU ALL.
Phil & his crew are solid, can’t wait until they come back to Marin. Nothing will ever replace the Grateful Dead, its about keeping the vibes alive.alive. I’m just glad Phil & Billy’s formats keep the beats per minute elevated per their bands. It’s easier on the ears. Beam me back to ‘85 all day long..
Im here with fresh green ears first time i ever listen to a complete phil and friends show,im comparing it to the greats but mostly to see how it compares to dead and slow.
@@chrismaher4601 wow you saw the first in Philly.? I have seen that so many times on YT and listened on Relisten so many times. It chokes me up every time hearing the crowd come to terms with what’s happening. So great. What was that like? Did you know it was the first at the time? Did you know the song.? It’s not a well known song but it truly my favorite.
It sounded good to me. I like this ensemble so far. I’ll watch tonight’s show. Thank you. Wait , was that a bowling alley ??😊 Be good people. Remember,, just 14 more days to flatten this curve 🤣😂🇫🇷🤮💉
Nothing like a little live cover band music with a super spreader event. Was this concert really worth getting sick or getting people you love sick and then die. Death has no mercy in Covid
So true, and in Tennessee of all places, the state with only 10 percent vaccinated ! And you see idiot's with no mask on. I love you Phil, but goddamn it, yer just kickin yer own ass man.
The Dead are gone, sad as it may be. Now Billy is touring with Billy and the Kids, Bob is with the Wolf Brothers, and Phil with his own group. They may all be good, but it's like a group of cover bands. Not only this, but I notice the Rolling Stones are touring this fall. Just for shits and giggles I looked up ticket prices at the venue closest to me. The worst seats are over $500 each. The best where you could actually what's going on on the stage are over $7500 each. All of these people have forgotten where they came from.
Rolling Stones tickets have been way over priced for years. i don't know what Phil Lesh tickets are, but i'm guessing no more than $65?. Maybe a little more for front row. Phil is a class act
@@youenjoymychannel172 I just looked it up. The closest they will be to me is 400 miles away and the cheapest tickets are $95. I'd rather drive 50-60 miles away and pay $40 to see the Dark Star Orchestra.
Pretty dang good for an 80 year old. Phil's voice is wonderful -- burnished, mature, well-lived-in.
Wow i was wondering he is 80 damn u go phil i wish ill be drummin at 80

Phil Lesh with Nicki Bluhm! This is great, thank you for sharing this!
I am gratified to see that a large portion of the audience is masked. The community needs to take care of each other.
Welcome back Phil & Friends. ⚡⚡⚡❤
Beautiful venue.
Loved The Wheel.
Nicki Bluhm is so great. Adds so much depth to the sound.
He's 81?!?!?! Amazing. Between Bobby and Phil and how they both look and perform at their age, I want some of whatever the heck it is they're having!
LOVE
LSD! At least for a few years

This might be the best unbroken chain I have ever heard. Hit me right in the heart
That was MEGA !

I had the pleasure of seeing every Chain the GD performed live.
This one hit me so sweetly. I needed this bad.
One of the best Unbroken Chains I've heard performed.

Floor tickets for RS in Charlotte were $150 face value - you just gotta poke around!
The stones are a bore
Are you not aware that Dead & Co are starting their tour in less than a month?
Dave Portnoy on drums…..nice.
Isn't that Griffin Goldsmith?
Is he drummer for Dawes?
@@JohnGieschenJr yes, and I believe he is the brother of Dawes guitarist Taylor Goldsmith
@@JohnGieschenJr another interesting tidbit, their father used to tour as the lead singer for Tower of Power

Jimmy Hawke A lot of masked sheeple in the audience tonight. "
