- Here is a brief tutorial on changing the low BEAM headlight on a 2012 - 2015 Hond Civic. The replacement bulb numbers are 9006 and H11 for the 2015.

I went to Walmart auto center and they said they couldn’t change my headlight without taking the entire front bumper off. I found this video and did it myself in 10 minutes. Tysm!

LOL...I almost laughed too when my daughter flicked the locking tab into the black whole.... but then I realized I was going to have to replace it on her car...🤔🤣

I’ve watched SO MANY videos but yours is by far the best method. Trying to take off the connector is a pain while is still inside of the socket but taking the light off and then removing it is as easy as 123

I bought some H11 Cree led for my 2014 Civic, and they didn`t work. I`m not really handy at working with cars but this isn`t that hard i think. The manual says that it is H11, but i seen videos that install the 9006, could it be a manual error and 9006 actually works?
PD: Sorry if my english typing isn`t the best, i`m actually from Argentina

Thanks for the video! QUESTION- Can anyone tell me what the black triangular tube UNDER the access panel is? (In front of battery/drivers side) I changed the lowbeams but then accidentally dropped one of those plastic pegs into that triangular tube. UGH!!! Wondering what it is and how worried i should be. i can’t turn the bulb in either direction. should there be a silver ring around the bulb with screws seeming to hold in in place? mine is a 2014 civic ex
nevermind, i was able to get it. i was twisting the wrong way. thank you for the video :) also, there’s an upper portion of the air intake duct i had to remove to get enough room for my hand

your halogen bulb has a blue coating. does it cast a blue light?
It does have the blue coating, but it cast a brighter but regular hue

Depends on where you are standing when twisting 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mistake, but you get the picture, right?
Can't even twist my housing out it won't turn left or right to pull the old bulb out
To remove, turn counterclockwise. To lock in, turn clockwise. You may need someone a little stronger to turn.
Got it figured out husband did it I guess I'm not strong enough for the passenger side of the car
