    • @italianfoodharmony
      @italianfoodharmony  2 месяца назад

      We never tried it without eggs. But there are various ways to substitute eggs, and here are some options:
      - Half a banana
      - Two tablespoons of potato starch or cornstarch
      - Half a cup of yogurt
      - 50 ml of milk
      Each option helps with binding ingredients or adding moisture, suitable for different types of desserts.

    Nice recipe,thanks.We add the chocolate to almond flour+eggs cool or as hot it is?

    • @italianfoodharmony
      @italianfoodharmony  3 месяца назад +2

      In preparing the Caprese cake, it’s best to add the melted chocolate to the egg and sugar mixture when it is warm, not too hot. This helps to prevent the eggs from cooking accidentally and ensures a uniform consistency in the mixture. Happy baking!

    Nice recipe! After visiting the expo of history of food and trades in Genoa’s museum, now i always ask myself what would European food be like without the Arabs and their enormous contributions which we totally chose to ignore? Almond is an Arabic word, so is pistachio, sugar, coffee, sorbet , rice, orange, lemon, spinach.. they also brought pasta and the style of baking focaccia, la farinata and pizza since they brought us garbanzo beans and also lentils.

    • @italianfoodharmony
      @italianfoodharmony  3 месяца назад

      Thank you for your comment! The contributions of different cultures, like the Arabs, have made European food so much richer. We’re happy you liked the recipe and appreciate your thoughts on the history. 🍅🇮🇹

      @marylawilson4687 3 месяца назад +1

      @fjordhellas4077 To be more precise: Civilisations began to farm lentils at about the same time as wheat and barley. They are part of a pattern around the world where people first turned to agriculture, rather than hunting & gathering. Cultivating: In Mesoamerica, maize and beans; in West Africa, sorghum and cowpeas; in East Asia, rice and soybeans. And in the Middle East? Wheat, barley and lentils
