    I'm glad Kawasaki is still making this bike. The sport bike scene and the standard scene are holding strong but the cruiser scene is dwindling. I like seeing companies still putting out affordable cruisers. It'll be a sad day when an overpriced Harley is the only cruiser one can purchase new.

    • @greenvulcan8354

      Agreed

    • @LuizRhetor
      @LuizRhetor 3 года назад +5

      Here in Brazil we're basically living on those sad days. Besides the Vulcan 650s, the only middle/large size Cruiser/Custom bikes you can buy new are Harleys. Glad I managed to find a used 900VN, with only 24.000km.

    • @TinyDragon
      @TinyDragon 3 года назад +2

      Have you ever owned a Harley? I used to think they were overpriced as well and just didn’t understand until I owned one. If you have never owned one, you won’t understand

    • @christopher7310

      @@TinyDragon owned? No. Ridden? MANY. I have yet to sit on one that feels and rides like it is worth the price tag. Some people love them, and that is fine. I ride a Yamaha Raider that cost me $6,000. Comfortable, easy to ride, and the 113 in it is a monster and a shit ton of torquey fun. Only Harley I've ridden that I like as much is the Lowrider S. But... Even that doesn't ride nice enough to justify the $12,000-$14,000 premium(before interest) over my bike's cost I have to pay to own one. It's just not $20,000 nice. The only thing owning one versus simply riding one will do for me is insure that I am bleeding money for a ride that can be had, more reliably, for less.

    • @TinyDragon
      @TinyDragon 3 года назад +2

      @@christopher7310 check the price of any bike today. anything with a big engine other than a honda rebel is gonna be over 1ok and in this orice range. have you ridden a modern fuel injected harley that is in the big twin category? softail or touring bike. old dynas and more entry level bikes like sportsters do not count.

    absolutely beautiful little bike. Engine is bullet proof and extremely economical to own. Great value for the money (about $12k AUD) I've owned a Harley V-Rod Muscle, and a Ducati Diavel. Both are superior bikes, but at more than twice the price... to buy AND maintain. I would be proud to own another Vulcan 900 Classic

    I've ridden all sorts of bikes, from sportsters to vmaxes to road kings sport touring bikes to my 2020 low rider s and somehow my Vulcan 900 still to this day amazes me with how enjoyable of a ride it is. I don't know what kind of balance Kawasaki struck with it but god I hope they never stop. It's got enough power to have fun with, it's perfectly capable of comfortably touring the entire USA and it'll do it without a single complaint, it's probably the lowest maintenance motorcycle ever made outside of something like a Goldwing, they look and sound really good, it's very affordable, and somehow they rolled all of this into a bike that's perfectly suitable to start on! I'm legit thinking about selling my Harley to get another one. The only cruiser I enjoyed as much was the Road King but they cost 3 times as much lol. I subbed, thanks for the video.

    I bought one of these for my wife who began riding at 72. She is 5' 4". I am 6'5" and can fit on her bike comfortably. It is good on the interstate, but also running around town. My Victory Vision Premium Tour is a bit more of a challenge at 900 lbs. I look forward to using her Vulcan when she upgrades. They are smooth, reliable, and a lot of fun. I have a 2007 Vulcan 900 Custom which I've owned since 2009. It's a good bike. I'm not a huge fan of having the speedometer on the tank, since I have to look down to see it. Also, mine has a chrome surround on the instrument pod which the sun reflects right off of. I'm in Phoenix and on a hot summer day, it is not a pleasant feeling when I'm at a light and feel all of the heat coming off of the engine. Also it supposedly has a 5+ gallon tank but I've never been able to put more than 4 gallons in it.

    This bike is one of the lightest cruisers on the market that still is a true cruiser but it handles everything great you can sink it into curves pretty damn fast and it's peppy enough to get into trouble on. It's actually a great starter bike. Your right it's a couch and it is so forgiving to new rider mistakes. I've got a chance to ride a lot of different bikes and own a good few but this bike is staying in my lineup. Well the 08 model 900 lt lol you get a windshield with it and saddles. But I'd recommend this for any man and bigger frame women all do respect but if your a smaller person both tall and round. A vstar 650 would fit you maybe a little better

    Bro, you make me nervous at stop lights. It could just be perspective from your gopro, but it looks like you have no room to get out and avoid being rear ended and sandwiched between cars. Leave more room in front of you and stop off to the side of the car so you can bolt out of danger if someone's coming up on you fast.

    Cruisers are just great fun and relaxing to ride - and this Kawa Vulcan 900 classic is top-notch. It takes one way back to the 50s and 60s when we all watched The Wild Bunch (well or some 15 years later) and were too young to go beyond dreaming of owning it. Good choice! I got mine (Classic LT) just in the Spring of 2020 and be really happy with it. Maybe you consider and join the cruiser tribe?

    I am on my second Vulcan 900 classic LT. I traded my first one, which I loved to ride, for a Triumph America. I loved the America but missed the Vulcan so much I bought a 2022 Vulcan Classic LT. I gave the Triumph to my son in law because he really is a great son in law. He gave it a good home and I have visitation privileges. The Vulcan is better on the highway over distances and the Triumph is better on twisty roads. 11:21

    I have the Classic Lt bagger version. I’m not a cruiser guy. I like small dual purpose bikes or standards in the 250-500 cc range because I like exploring off road on a regular basis. But my wife was not liking the lack of leg room on the back of my Suzuki TUx 250 that we were using for our week long camping trips, so I bought my Vulcan off of a relative and put a Mustang seat on it. Now the wife is a very happy camper. After riding small bikes for 50 years it took a while to get used to the mile long wheel base and nearly 700 pound bulk, but once I did get used to it I got to like it well enough. It is a lot more fun for me than a Goldwing would be. For a cruiser it is a pretty good bike.
