Thanks Steve, as I get older, going to so many concerts is hard to do, but I still love it. I still need to listen to that new Blushing album, seems like I would like it. Thanks Steve!
Hi Mike - I enjoyed your discussion of Steve Albini. Congratulations on seeing some great concerts. Oh, and on the engagement, too 👍Interesting slp of the tongue with Gimme Sympathy instead of Gimme Shelter. "Who'd you rather be? The Beatles or The Rolling Stones?"
I guess that's where my mind went, that Metric song. I'm getting old, but I am glad I caught it before the corrections came rolling in to the comment section. Thanks for watching, Brian!
I've only done it a couple times, but was successful both times. I waited outside in the rain after a Massive Attack show to get Liz and the band's autographs, but they rushed into their busses and took off. I managed to get Horace Andy at least. Really nice guy. Thanks for watching, Mike!
Excellent video Mike. I didn’t appreciate Steve Albini had produced as much as he did. You’ve seen some great shows recently. I’ve seen Adam several times and he never disappoints. Great to meet Laetitia. Did you buy Hackney Diamonds? If you haven’t, it’s a fantastic album, brilliantly produced great material. Mike
I have not purchased Hackney Diamonds, but I will listen to it at some point. This was my third time seeing Adam Ant, and he was great, as usual. Thanks for watching, Mike! Cheers!
Slowdive did not disappoint despite playing the same set as last year. I love Atomizer .. Gang Of Four on steroids. The Bass on King Of Soul is amazing. They opened with that when I saw them with Nick Cave. Excited to hear the Beth Gibbons ! Can't believe its out & am now still waiting .. not patiently for The Cure. ✌️
The Beth Gibbons album is the one I have on order. Couldn't find it in the stores on Friday. I think the bass is excellent on every Wolfgang Press song! Thanks David.
You are the king of the concerts. I really want to say Bushing this summer, they will be in town. I am also a fan of Big Black, great tunes

Wow you've been busy. Superb bunch of concerts, l'm glad l'm not the only person who takes albums to concerts hoping to get them signed.

Pretty funny you were standing by Randy Johnson. Did he block your view?
Luckily he was to my right and not right in front of me. I am 6'1" and he towered over me.
