Great update as always!!! The show at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center in April of 1989 was EPIC! Enjoy the Sex show!

See now you have to go and make me jealous! I did get to see both bands on later tours.

I always smile when you upload, you are easily my favourite vinyl RUclipsr because of how eclectic your taste is and how compatible it is with my own. Great stuff as always!!

Thanks, I really appreciate that! Means a lot, especially during those times when I don't feel like I have a good video to make. Cheers!

I just subscribed Mike, great video. Excellent selection of records behind you as well! Sterolab has been on my want list for quite sometime but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I have added solo records from Laetitia Sadier on your recommendation. Great story on the autographs. I love Siouxsie and the Banchees but only have Superstition on vinyl. I have the New Order Technique vinyl and enjoy it. The cure show is another added to my want list.

Superstition is a great record, saw Siouxsie at the first Lollapalooza when that record came out. Technique is still growing on me. Those Cure live albums sound really good. Thanks for watching, appreciate it!

Excellent finds, as always, Mike. You probably already guessed that I bought Paris (and show earlier). I could do with a reissue of Technique, since mine has been well played, though I like the previous New Order records better. Awesome records!

Its weird that Matador is doing those Butthole Surfer reissues-since they were never on that label and King Coffey had just put them out on his label a few years ago. I would get the versions put out by a member of the band before the Matador versions, which Im sure sound good. I went on a kick with them last year and found a lot of period correct versions in a very short amount of time.

I hear you. For now I am just trying to find their albums any way I can, and then I will worry about finding some originals. Thanks for watching!

I use to have the third Sam Phillips album but never really got into it. It is one of those artist that I need to revisit as I was buying way to much music to digest back then. Gus Gus does sound interesting. Always love seeing the interesting music ou find and also to know you are not a signing machine! lol. Great story

Sam Phillips also played the female villain in Die Hard 3. She was Jeremy Irons sort of sidekick. Check her out

Hi Mike - I have those Gus Gus cds & haven't played them in years. I'll listen to them soon. Used to play that 40 minute single by Insides called Clear Skin & Gus Gus , Seefeel & FSOL during shifts at the record store I managed in the 90's. I remember when Paris was announced on The Cure website I thought it was going to be regarding Songs Of The Lost World so was disappointed but plan on picking it up. Seeing Slowdive & Swans at end of the month & can't wait ! & picking up Nocturne by Siouxsie on RSD & hoping to get Hips & Makers but my local store still don't know if there getting it. Fingers crossed 🤞

Swans would be a cool show to see. I will be at that Slowdive show, really looking forward to it. I thought about getting Hips and Makers, but I really prefer her 2nd album Strange Angels, but it's not available on vinyl. Might get H&M anyway.
