He probably didn't expect the mutation to happen so soon. He expected that like in the other endings, he would just find him paralyzed and feed him to Mother, but here it is.
@@TheRaininSummer no cos like the logic either way doesn't make too much sense, the doctor says he put the parasite inside him to keep the "animals" away, but that wasn't true because the protag still got attacked by the mutants, also, I can't understand how the parasite mutates animals as big as elephants and as small as penguins, but is only expected to paralyse a human, I refuse to believe the doc didn't have that in mind, especially considering the drawings on the board showing he'd been doing lots of research on the parasite for a while

Could be better? Yep Could be worst? Yep This game is def one of the games of all time (Def not worth the hype) I wonder how much this game costs thought
@@kumaruatlas963223 is pretty good for this honestly I think it's insane that people are asking more from an indie horror game with developers that have only made one or two other games. They did great.
This is a second comment I made on this video but I just noticed the character’s mouth sometimes doesn’t move when they talk, sometimes ONLY their mouth moves. They look like they have no emotion. Overall bad quality doesn’t live up to the hype at all. Don’t blame everything on the death of the screenwriter
Man this game has so much potential! I wish they took more time to create this, because some of the animation felt stiff and unnatural, and it doesn't follow through the character's dialogues. The animals too! I hate that whenever someone mutated they wait for you at the entrance, it would be much scarier if they would suddenly appear while you were checking the animals. Plus the reloading of the gun?? It's too slowww. I wish they began the game where the character is a desperate man looking for a new job and then he comes across the doctor, and at first it seems fine especially in the morning-- you'll have a tour inside the zoo before you start your job and things will slowly go downhill as you work throughout the night. I think that would make the players much more tensed and immersed in the game.
The doc appeared out of nowhere, said like "oh hey bro whats going man by the way i killed your wife", gets punched and instantly fell unconscious and died. What the FUCK were they sniffing
It is strange since its implied other people work there studying the mother and having someone who can actually handle the animals for what i assume to be the shell company would be good. They dont have any issue kidnapping people even if only sometimes they accidentally kidnap them alive. So there is no need to lure people in as sacrifice. I didnt play the game but if CJ is actually crazy and fed all other personel to the mother it would kind of explain why everything seems so shoddy and inefficient. Also would make everything he does a pointless murder since he is just a crazy serial killer feeding a monster in a zoo thats falling apart.
You forgot the best ending, its the first one but you tell the wife you'll be back in the morning its the same but his wife doesn't get captured and he goes home in the car
Everyone’s talking about the endings, but I think this game would be so much better with different gameplay. I would’ve loved this to have a Paper’s Please/FNAF kind of gimmick. You come back over the course of several days to do your job, and the animals would gradually get sicker depending on your performance. Every forced decision in the game would be removed, and you would get to choose what to do. For example, you could send meat home with your wife and risk the animals’ health when you run out or risk your family starving to death if you do your job right. Or if you save Sarah and get crucial info on how the place works and how to cure the mutated animals or kill her and not know what to do and have to euthanize them. Also, the parasite you’re infected with would take longer to kill you. I was hoping this would be how that would work, and I was incredibly disappointed with how rushed the mutations and story were. I feel a slower pace would’ve helped build the story and world building and let you bond with the animals you are taking care of so that your choices had consequences if you let them die of if they love you.
Yeah it just went straight to your face with the zoos evil doings instead of a subtle buildup with whats going on. People like mystery, and with those animals mutating, or the loud sound in the begining, there would be a lot to sprinkle here and there that would get people interested, at least if also the gameplay would be executed better. Voices of the void also has "tedious" and repetitive gameplay but the mystery of the game keeps you going. With everything scripted here its just tasks that stretch out the time, and "reveals" if you could call it that are just thrown in your face. Its like a lot of substance for the game actually is there, but its not being put together well at all, which is sad and dissappointing cause it actually could have been better
Honestly I'm very confused and ashamed how the endings turn out but at least this was fun gameplay but for real even after all that I still got questions that needs answers to this game! So in the end I'm not surprised I'm hearing bad comments for this game because even I'm kind of pissed
@@Gunzavage how i got it to where everyone stays alive was you call lisa and tell her not to eat the meat, when its time to make the poison you don't take the call and then you have to use a dead parasite when means you have to kill one of the mutants and that's how I made it to where everyone lives
This is the dumbest protag in history..... The whole time in the game. Like, he could have taken the car and sold it for good money. Its a lambo. But no, had to damage it
I think the car reminded em of doc and his false promise of money frome Paul's "job" so he damaged it because he got mad, I mean, he's mad, and poor now, so what would you do in case of revenge?
While it's unfortunate the screenwriter died the game could have had an actual boss fight with Mother as well as different endings depending on if you saved the woman, how many animals you saved, and such. Maybe Doc could have upheld his end of the deal if you saved most of the animals, if you did poorly
@@rougestarlight4308 also doesn’t really excuse anything actually, they could have at least made the game more better for his memorial but it just feels like they wanted to get it over with already and had no genuine passion to make the game as great as it could’ve been
@@CallMePebie That’s not really how it works, you can’t just passion yourself into a better game/storyline when that is not your proffesion. Zoochosis may have not been the screenwriters dream project anyways, and people are very likely to loose passion as a reaction to death rather than finish it. The screenwriter dying was likely not in any shape or form accounted for, had no backup, fumbled the bag, and rushed the game into completion in an attempt to not drain their money further on a project that ran into such a major issue/still had people to pay, while also still trying to keep the game somewhat presentable. Even if that wasn’t such a big roadblock, I don’t think the game would have been *amazing* per see either, but it probably would have been atleast a bit better.
Doesn't surprise me. The trailers were all pre-rendered, which was an immediate red flag more people should have caught up on. The marketing told nothing about this game. Only that it would be a body cam game and take place in a zoo where there's some weird parasite shit going on or something.
I agree. These people asking us to give respect to the screenwriter who passed. We ARE, all we're asking too is for them to think outside the box for a sec? Why rush the game then right? If the developers really cared about the screenwriter's passing, they should've atleast developed the game a bit longer and improved the game to properly acknowledge and honor the work he left behind, not rush it down and make a subpar game for a quick cash grab.
@@kumaruatlas9632 Litterly see it everywhere. It's sad. Then while I am glad they put a memorial up for the screenwriter, I can't help but to feel they also did it knowing a lot of people would excuse the poor polish or disappointment with the death so they can't be held liable for the result of the game.
Excuse? Literally core developer/soul of project gone. Entire workplace morale gone with him too, no delay gonna fix that. Sweaty elitist gamers like yall need touch some grass bruh its just a damn game.
I get that the screenwriter unfortunately passed away during the making of this game, and as sad as it is it doesn't make this a better game. The story is so fast paced that you cant understand what's going on half the time and the AI voice acting makes the game feel like a fever dream. It's just not a good product. Regardless, I'm gonna pay my respects to the deceased, may he rest in peace.
There’s an ending where the wife is okay, they beat the Mother, and Paul and the journalist drive off in the car. I saw another streamer do so. That’s the real best ending.
I was honestly really hoping not warning your family about the meat would have far more dire consequences. But it seems it straight up doesn't have lasting impact
there is an ending where the wife survives. In the middle of the shift (i'm not sure when) you get a call from her and you tell her to go home, but you cant really answer her when she's at the door earlier
it’s really sad that the screenwriter passed away. Hopefully they can make a revamp with a new screenwriter soon to fill the job of the old one, because the concept of the game was amazing, and something better could have been made from it. I understand the panic when you have less people to help you with a project than you originally had, and I hope they can do better if they decide to try again next time.
My question would be, if THAT is how Mother looks... Then did they also faked story about "mother" being unknown origins, or did they found the parasite first before making a patient zero into "The Mother"? Either way even if the design doesn't impress me, the man made horrors did hit the spot.
the gameplay seems basic and too uniform and repetitive especially the “boss fights” the dialogue sounds like its AI generated and the voice acting sounds emotionless, empty, and unnatural no pauses no inflection just reading lines in one monotone run on sentence type of style the graphics as much as i dont like to harp on for games look dull and unpolished, the characters models at least with facial expressions seem so stiff and robotic same with a lot of the infected animals animations this game is not as good as a lot of you are trying to say it is

My guess is that the severed hand thats in the bio filter can be used to open the lab and each mutant you fight must stay alive meaning the illness you find, you create the medication that heals the mimic version of it. Of course you save sarah from the grinder and offer to inject yourself with the poison
Dude it was my first time watching caseoh and he played this, and spoilers for anyone who didn't watch him, he chose to kill the girl cuz chat kept saying kill her and don't be a simp. He chose to trust the guy who literally put the main character in the zoo to begin with.
I know right! Makes no fucking sense, it's completely identical to the best ending, except Sarah just doesn't poison Doc and Mother is more hungry for some reason. Maybe Mother saw Lisa's corpse and got severe muchies all of a sudden? Maybe Sarah wasted an extra second looking at Lisa's body and therefore didn't have enough time to inject Doc? Several crucial thing just change with no observable logic behind those changes
This game could have actually been great... it could have been a slower or shorter night based experience where you choose 1 animal at the start of each playthrough or start of each in game week and you care for that animal for the week, the nights would get gradually more stuff with the friday of the week being the time the mutant happens and its a more drawn out boss battle where you get the other animals to safety and either kill or cure the mutant one. Once you get through all animals, you're given one last thing just titled '???' that unlocks after playing every animal, its the mother. the mother would be a boss battle where you have to kill it and free the zoo then expose doc and win. the fun differences between playthroughs and stuff would be choices on if you kill or cure, if you let the non mutate animals die, how the player interacts with doc and other npcs, and how they manage the parasite within them. that last one could have like 'if you drink the drink they give you, the parasite is at bay' or 'ignore the drink and mutate' or 'use the drink until the last week when you fight mother so its a mutant human vs mother fight' or even 'player mutates and kills the animals' There is so much potential for a different, possibly easier game with this idea- can even keep the fked up story that is actually in the game if they want...

@@TheRaininSummer no cos like the logic either way doesn't make too much sense, the doctor says he put the parasite inside him to keep the "animals" away, but that wasn't true because the protag still got attacked by the mutants, also, I can't understand how the parasite mutates animals as big as elephants and as small as penguins, but is only expected to paralyse a human, I refuse to believe the doc didn't have that in mind, especially considering the drawings on the board showing he'd been doing lots of research on the parasite for a while
Yeah that one is weird. He seems to know Paul is in the restroom so you think he'd take some precaution of some sort, especially if he's not getting coherent responses. The one on the train makes more sense because he's outside his field of vision.
@@LordDrewidThey animals did attack us but they don’t kill us. As for Doc he is an insane person so ofc he doesn’t take any precaution. He must have thought the protag would be confused or weak so he decided to throw us in the Mother’s enclosure asap but that was what made the end of him

What the FUCK were they sniffing

shoulda been an ending where you get hired
It would also be cool if the infected animals began to spread the parasite and begin to appear out of their stations
I really like this game. However, I do feel like it could have done a lot better

@@CallMePebie
That’s not really how it works, you can’t just passion yourself into a better game/storyline when that is not your proffesion.

It's sad. This game was so hyped, and there was so much potential, but this is ROUGH.
I mean the consequences is that your family dies, idk what more there could be besides them getting mutated too
2:01 Did the cutscene with the mother reveal that they kept an abomination in an open air enclosure?
yes and why did mother not just escape the enclosure for the bad ending?
mother is like a tree like creature like her hand like roots were in the ground that’s why she didn’t escaped.
there is an ending where the wife survives. In the middle of the shift (i'm not sure when) you get a call from her and you tell her to go home, but you cant really answer her when she's at the door earlier
Is it when you're supposed to hand her a meat brick? Like if you don't, she might live?
it’s really sad that the screenwriter passed away. Hopefully they can make a revamp with a new screenwriter soon to fill the job of the old one, because the concept of the game was amazing, and something better could have been made from it. I understand the panic when you have less people to help you with a project than you originally had, and I hope they can do better if they decide to try again next time.

That's what Paul's boss believes, but it literally doesn't care and wants to eat ANYONE. Fat-ass thinks he's evolving humanity, cliche character type.
Mommy. She's pretty hungry
My question would be, if THAT is how Mother looks...
Then did they also faked story about "mother" being unknown origins, or did they found the parasite first before making a patient zero into "The Mother"?
Either way even if the design doesn't impress me, the man made horrors did hit the spot.
probably "mother"is called as such because she's what's making the parasites.
And yeah, thought the same thing, she was probably patient zero.

the gameplay seems basic and too uniform and repetitive especially the “boss fights”

This is game failed on so many ways it had such a good potential😢
This game could have actually been great... it could have been a slower or shorter night based experience where you choose 1 animal at the start of each playthrough or start of each in game week and you care for that animal for the week, the nights would get gradually more stuff with the friday of the week being the time the mutant happens and its a more drawn out boss battle where you get the other animals to safety and either kill or cure the mutant one. Once you get through all animals, you're given one last thing just titled '???' that unlocks after playing every animal, its the mother. the mother would be a boss battle where you have to kill it and free the zoo then expose doc and win.
the fun differences between playthroughs and stuff would be choices on if you kill or cure, if you let the non mutate animals die, how the player interacts with doc and other npcs, and how they manage the parasite within them. that last one could have like 'if you drink the drink they give you, the parasite is at bay' or 'ignore the drink and mutate' or 'use the drink until the last week when you fight mother so its a mutant human vs mother fight' or even 'player mutates and kills the animals'
There is so much potential for a different, possibly easier game with this idea- can even keep the fked up story that is actually in the game if they want...
