Towels get washed in the washing machine. Brushes and tools are sanitized with bleach or a few other chems depending on what they are. Some tools can not be cleaned with bleach.
Great Question! I have never had an issue with this mix removing color. I would test a small area to make sure the color wont be effected. If the grout its color sealed or painted it could remove the color/paint. You can also replace the hydrogen peroxide with a little dawn and warm water. Happy Cleaning!!

I have a bad knee, how can I do this without getting down on the floor to scrub the grout?
There are some great brushes available with long handles like a mop. That will help you do the scrubbing while standing.😃
What % is the hydrogen peroxide you use? I can only get 6% in stores where I live.

Do you different toothbrushes every time you clean the dirt in between the tiles?
In most cases I use nylon brushes so they are easy to keep clean. Rinse in warm water and wash with bleach or a little dawn.
I think placing solution in a squirt bottle would be easier
